    Dry season January to March you should go to the beach or water fall in Eastern or Western area of Thailand. Pattaya, Sriracha, Kanchanaburi, Hua hin, Island on the eastern area recommended because the flowers are blooming 🙂

    Excellent video, but you didn't mention the high humidity, especially Bangkok and central region. I don't mind the heat, but the humidity drains my energy.

    Hi Cal! Great vids 👍🏼 Have u ever been in Hua Hin? Thoughts? Im going there in february.

    • @thebangkokguide
      @thebangkokguide  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks! Yes, I have. Hua Hin is normally alright in February. You might get some air pollution, but it won't be as bad as Bangkok.

      @@thebangkokguide I was there near Black Mountain last year for two weeks in feb and it was fantastic in my opinion! Also a perfect spot for our small kids. They had several great golf courses there as well. I loved basically everything about Thailand and Hua Hin and have decided to spend a lot of time there during the Swedish winter upcoming years 🙌🏼🇹🇭

    So glad I've found your channel as googling gave me such conflicting info about best times to visit. I'm glad you headed me off my January plan! During the early rainy season, Jun-Aug, does the sun come out or are the days generally cloudy?

    • @thebangkokguide
      @thebangkokguide  3 месяца назад +1

      Cheers. I’m glad it’s helpful! In the early rainy season it’s normally sunny for most of the day with a downpour in the early evening. One of my favorite times of the year!

    Top, very helpful, thanks! --- QUESTION: Is there anybody who could tell me how 'smoky' it is at the moment and if April or mid-April till mid-May would be an 'ok-ish' time to go to Thailand this year? Or maybe more pleasant and beautiful in June, early rain season?

    • @thebangkokguide
      @thebangkokguide  2 месяца назад +1

      The air quality is quite good already even now…by mid-April to mid-May we are normally well past the pollution season. It’s very hot tho..so it will depend on your heat tolerance. Personally I like all of the months you listed!

    Hi Cal, I've followed you for a year. I moved to Bangkok in October & have my retirement visa. I'd like to talk with you about hiring you to help me launch my RUclips channel, not a travel channel. I'm a seasoned storyteller with multiple collections of stories to share. I'm a seasoned man, and need guidance to make it happen. Thanks for your consideration, and naturally, no expectations.

      Depends what your lifestyle is like. I run trails. Chiang Mai has arguably the best trails to run in all of Asia. I’ve had to put out a wildfire off a farm burn off and do not like the air quality at all (I usually hightail it to koh chang in February- march).,

    • @thebangkokguide
      @thebangkokguide  5 месяцев назад

      I went in February once..I could literally taste the smoke. I’m not a fan of the extremely high PM2.5 levels. But that’s a personal decision. If you don’t mind the pollution, the weather is cool and it’s not too busy.
