Being blind this show helped me open up to the sighted community and this scene was such a big part of that. I was able to take Bay‘s words and apply them to my own life. Replacing “hearing” with “sighted” it really gave me a new perspective as I went through middle school and worked on opening myself back up

Yes! Everyone thinks Daphne was the great savior, but it was Bay. She's the one who got the switch started. She's the one who kept the family together after Angelo died eventhough she was mourning too. She's the one who saved Carlton. Yes Dpahne started it, but Bay's the one who helped get everything going by risking her own life by setting the alarm and talking to the press. She even saved Daphen's ass when she was about to go to jail. The sad part is Bay doesn't really get any credit for any of that. It's always poor Daphne. I feel for Bay.

Ironic how a lot of people Bay doesn't get along with at first, she ends up befriending.

There are different types of pride. Narcissist/God complex/Arrogant pride is bad but there is pride in oneself/self-respect/achievements that's good
