I broke my car aalternator from my bmw 320d, i put to much ADT hydraulic oil at reservoir and then spill underneath ar alternator, i fixed and changed rim at the same time.
Hello,, i'd like to thanks you for the tutorial , I removed my alternator to fix it and now i'm having problem putting it back again, i'm struggling to push the bottom of the alternator in place so I can screw the long bolt, any tips ? Thanks a lot !
There should be a little bush in the alternator, if your careful you can move it outwards a little to make more room between the alternator mount arms. Should slide right back in then. Or if you cant move the bush jus try to make sure its all as parrallel as possible then it should jus slide in.
@@AutomotiveAddiction Thanks a lot man, I spent more than half an hour wiggling it until it finally fit back in place lol, I'll keep in mind the bush trick
@@Minorock93 Another trick is: It is often grimy/rusty where it slides into the mount, give it a quick lick with a file or angle grinder, it should give JUST enough clearance to fit it in easily :)
Depends if you have AC and could depend on what PS pump you have, m sport or non m sport etc. Just out ya reg into eurocarparts.com website or contact a decent local motor factors.
The a/c belt should only run around 3 pulleys. one is the main crank, one is the a/c compressor and the other one is your tensioner. Should be clockwise on the bolt in the center of the pulley to loosen the belt enough to remove it.
Honestly mate, no joke, you've actually saved me so much money. Fucking lad 👍👍👍

@@AutomotiveAddiction Bravery is a must. Sometimes you just need to pull a little harder and not be afraid of breaking it.

PLEASE WHAT ARE THE BELT NUMBERS FOR THE BIG BELT AND SMALL ONE?

6pk2080 main belt
4pk890 ac belt
what was the black box that was connected to the alternator
No idea still to be fair.
regulator
I have 320d e46 2005
My ac belt doesn't have a tensioner.. How can i take a belt off?
there mite be a plastic cap over the tensioner nut. Flat screwdriver should help out. Any probs post a vid/pic and tag me. :)

But there is no tensioner at al.. Its only two pulleys one from makin crank and one of the ac compressor
@@TheMosmislit any luck yet?
Well the tensioner was missing.. The ac compressor wasn't working so some1 took belf and tensioner off..
