You say it couldn’t *even* intercept Concorde. To be fair, there aren’t many fighters/interceptors as fast as Concorde and the only aircraft I can think of off the top of my head which could sustain or beat Concorde’s cruise speed for any reasonable length of time is the SR-71. Concorde was a seriously rapid jet, every fighter would have difficulty intercepting it without early warning.
You were able to do the same normally, going up 50 thousand feet in the air with any type of fighter jet (did with the top Mach F-22), go active pause and just absolutely overload every weight and fuel settings, and wait until the aircraft stops at a particular speed, i went from flying mach 2 to flying Mach 12.57 while slowly pitching down to the ground. Sadly they patched this tho
also the F-15C mod limited it to match 1 for sim stability by the way. They have found a way to do mach 2 flight though....as they're making a concorde

the mig 31 could go mach 2.83
The F-15C in real life can go Mach 2.5+, so the flight simulator has a limit, not the plane.

The difference between the C and the E is that the F-15C only carries Air-to-Air weapons, and the F-15E can carry Air-to-Ground weapons.
