you need to go into your content manager (bottom left when in the store) and youll see there's an update available option towards the top on the left. select all and download updates. you have the packs but you need to update them. you have to manually check it as the game does not have any notifications that there are new updates for planes, scenery, etc.

I am new to this game and in the Tokyo building top challenge, I would have tried to land on the building with the blue/solar roof and bounce over to the green top roof.
Thats the plane i got to fly in for the first time it was a piper super cub, it had floats on it, i knew an sf pilot who did sea plane rides and he offered to take me up. We took off and he told me to fly the plane, we were only 100ft up, definitely threw me in the deep end bc id never been in a small aircraft, let alone flown one... I was totally safe looking back on it this guy flew planes while getting shot at for years, so teaching me was np, but being told to just fly without any training or any notion that i would be flying at all was wild. The whole flight was about an hour, he had me do some stall drills and land 3 or 4 times, which was also nerve racking for a first timer, landing a little plane on water with some wind 20 min after first touching the controlls. He was funny, on one of my landing approaches, i was shooting the gap between some trees, i rolled to the side to straighten my approach and as im using all of my concentration to menuver the plane he's watching this woman bend over on her pontoon boat, and goes "hey look at her!" So he certainly didnt feel the pressure i did! Ill never forget that flight as long as i live.

When you are trying to brake you could use aerodynamic braking along with your brakes. Full back stick. Pushes the ass into the ground and the elevator being up creates some drag. Gotta be under stall speed for it to work without sending you back into the air. I do it all the time on shorter runways in my 152
I know I'm a few months late here, but you should be retracting your flaps just before you touch down on a short landing like these. The ground effect is keeping the plane in the air and thus making the brakes irrelevant.
you're coming in very slow but struggling to stop because you should try coming in steeper. More angle of attack, more drag, more throttle and come down nose up on a steep angle
You are going about it all wrong. Instead of coming up from below, your approach angle needs to be really steep. And when you flare you stall the airplane onto the roof so the energy is all gone when you touch down.
In Tokyo map, could you land on the fbuilding to the right with blue panels and bounce cruise to the landing zone? They were so level it could just work. 9:00
