Used to work for a Mitsubishi dealer. Drove one of these as a shuttle vehicle, it was great. Mechanically, there’s a reason Mitsubishi has a 10 year warranty, because these things literally never break down or fail. Our shop at the dealership was literally more of a lube and tire shop because we never had anything to fix.
I was loaned one of these as a rental. The best I can say about this and any other Mitsu I’ve driven is that it’s like a homely, overweight wife with a huge heart. Nothing to write home about, but you know it’ll take good care of your family.
We have owned 5 Mitsubishis now and we loved our 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport GT AWC (RVR) and just traded it and our 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE 3 months ago on 2 new 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SELs with Touring Package and S-AWC (USA) in Red Diamond and Octane Blue. Mitsubishi vehicles are very sturdy, reliable, feature packed and safe. We buy new every 3 years and have owned many new cars from Kia, Hyundai, and Chevy but when we switched to Mitsubishi in 2016 they are our go to brand now and have treated us better than any vehicles we have ever owned and we have liked them better than any we have owned plus great dealership experiences.
K McKenzie have to agree with you on Mitsubishi reliability. I'm from Australian and I have owned 27 Mitsubishi vehicles. Some have covered over 400,000km. None have missed a beat. Love the new look ASX as we call it and it will be the next purchase for my wife. Her current Lancer has 430,000km on it s at 5 years old so time to upgrade soon. Me I'm hoping to up grade to the Pajero Sport which I know you are not lucky enough to get in Canada and Anerica. These are just great SUV 4wd vehicles. Always good to hear others feedback on Mitsubishi.
stephan burgess wow you have owned more than me haha. Thats great! I think Mitsubishi deserves far more credit than they are given. So glad to hear this! Everyone I talk to seems to love their Mitsubishis and drive them trouble free!!!
stephan burgess I totally agree I love hearing other people are happy with them. They don’t get the credit they deserve. They use time tested design, parts and powertrains instead of changing them constantly and having issues. Love our Mitsu’s!!!
These are great cars. Very dependable and drive nicely. They are an old design now and it shows in some ways, especially the interior, but it's a solid vehicle and great value. My Mom has a 2015 GT and my Dad just bought a 2019 ES. They're both very satisfied. It's small outside, so easy to park and maneuver, but roomy up front and has a lot of cargo space for the size, though the back seat is quite cramped. Best left for children.
@@T16-s5o My In laws have a 2019 ES and love it. Most professional reviewers simply disregard Mitsubishi products but buyers generally are very happy with them. The main reason is proven power trains, value, and an inherent simplicity that will not surprise most buyers down the road.

I owned 2018 RVR GT. So far no regret. Good for small family. The only thing I want Mitsubishi to do is more softer ride and less road noise.

I'm a Mitsubishi fan, they are really realiable cars.
How's the steering?
It's 2020 and the dash still has the same dash as my 2010 lancer 😂
Not everyone needs a movie theater touch screen parade inside their cars, some people just need to go from point a to b

It's worthwhile mentioning, if you have an RVR with a glass roof, don't feed large birds peanuts.
Great review, thanks!
no sunroof???
Recorded horizontally:)
Nice Review!
Background music very very annoying. No need to speak so fast. More measurement figures would be appreciated.
The front and back looks excellent, but the back is just so underwhelming...😒👎🏼
It outta look way more rugged and boxy.
it was impressive until I heard CVT Transmission :(
+1... It's a bad one too. They just their renowned reliability.

A very average car all around. The only plus is their better warranty. That’s it. Noisy. CVR transmission is not so great.
