You do NOT have to wait 10 to 15 minutes after mixing most epoxies. In fact, none others that I know of. Do that, and they will set up in the cup before you can use it, especially on a hot day. If they are thoroughly mixed, they will catalyze just fine the moment you're done mixing.

Would this kind of repair be suitable for the top of legs to a antique buffet? Want to keep the legs but about half of the "square blocks" at the top, which connect to the buffet via tongue and groove, of the legs are cracked. Thought about cutting off the blocks and attaching new ones via dowel, but bleh. Kind of like the idea of repairing what I have either with this type of product, or Titebond III. Just afraid of not cutting the block off with precision.

Curious if I can screw into the applied wood epoxy once it is dry???

I’m curious if you have guidelines for how large of a repair is too large for Abatron. I’ve been using it to repair windows and have started getting into some frames with serious rot on the outside.

I know you can stain epoxy filler but worry it would stain much darker or lighter than the original wood- had anyone tried this before?

It usually stains darker but close to the wood,

Is there an issue with this type of repair being irreversible? The epoxy is going to bind that corner together where it was something that could originally be taken apart.

That’s true, and if you want a reversible repair you can do that but it will take more time and effort.

I just don't understand why so many amateur YTers put out unnarated videos with irritating music as the sound track. You narated an intro telling us what you were going to do, then went silent and let irritating music fill the soundtrack instead. Why?

Can you Imagine TOH or another home show doing an unnarated soundtrack with only music. Yea, me neither. Very amateurish. Pitiful
