AB IS THE BEST! I know that this makes me sound ancient but man I miss 60s70s80s rock. The definition of: Sex,Drugs, and Rock & Roll. I feel like there’s only a few Rock bands started post 2000 and that makes me sad. ❤ Tara da OG
My favorite Aerosmith story is the lead singer (Steven Tyler) walking down the street in LA with the lead guitarist (Joe Perry). Steven heard a song coming from a car driving by and said 'That sounds great! We should do a cover of it!" To which Joe responded, "That's us dummy!" He had forgotten about that song..apparently 30+ years of recording music and tons of drugs effects your memory! 😆
Forgot how much I liked this song. Helps that I haven't heard ot for like 10 years. Aerosmith have like 5 complete world class bangers. Dream On and Janie's Got A Gun are two more. Saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon back about tbis time. Rode the Tube with Joe Perry in the car after the show. So their sober days prob.
Steven is still the best front man. Back when you could pay $150 for a front row, it was the bomb. Now the same tickets are $10K. He so talented and the band was perfection. He would yell at the security to let us get closer. Yep I was close enough to touch his hand. The 80s were so fun. I think it’s hilarious that today…. It shocks young people when the song is about making fun of sex. Y’all get so offended. So glad I was young back then. People need to lighten up. FYI … the guy in the elevator was Joe Perry, lead guitarist, and his wife. 🙄
steven tyler said all he hoped for this song was that it would come on one day, in an elevator and cause a couple of strangers to give each other an awkward look and maybe a laugh! lol
They always put on a great show - I was front row for this tour. Heard an interview with them where someone asked Joe Perry how his wife felt about him making out with the "hot blonde" in the elevator and Joe replied, "That is my wife." 🤣
"Love In An Elevator" played a big part in the rehabilitation of Aerosmith in the minds of Rock fans in the 80's. Also MTV helped. Also, the Rap/Rock mix of "Walk This Way" with Run-DMC helped. Their early stuff, their first four, and a good part of the fifth and sixth albums were killer blues based ROCK and ROLL. What came after wasn't always, but some was, like this song here. Typical double entendre Steven Tyler lyrics, and delivery, and Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer doing their thing, and they were America's Best Hard Rock Band EVER. Period. Not G&R, Not VH, Not Nirvana. Just A-E-R-O-S-M-I-T-H!!!
I just found this great song classic video great review if you want to hear more Aerosmith check out Permanent Vacation or the song Hangman Jury video's it is a great watch .
Here's another new artist to give a listen, if interested. "Harry Nilson - Everybody's Talkin' (1968)" (by the channel: Beat Club) --Harry Nilsson was an American singer/songwriter who reached the peak of his success in the 70's. He is well known for pioneering "vocal overdubs experiments." Nilsson was one of the few major pop-rock recording artists to achieve significate commercial success without performing major public concerts or touring regularly. He was also very close friends with John Lennon and Ringo Star of The Beatles. Some have even monikered him as "the American Beatle." due to his close work with the band.
dude....if you'd quit stopping the music every 10 seconds...and actually "get" the music, you might enjoy it more....I know everyone else would. You have a good personality, but your videos are just too frustrating to watch to subscribe, even though I have given you many chances.

I so agree. I know we all love the music of our childhood, but honestly, what other decade's music was this much fun for kids?
It was crap
@@JulioLeonFandinho thanks for sharing Little Ms or Mr Sunshine.
I swear I love your facial expressions when you’re shocked 😂😂
The 70s and 80s were the GREATEST decades of music! This was such a dirty song and they hid stuff in it.
Listening to this song as a kid I had no clue what it was about 😂
Same here😂

Always Loved some Aerosmith ❤
Aerosmith has been my favorite band since I was 4 or 5 and I’m 36 now… I’m just noticing multiple things in this video lol.
I started seeing Aerosmith in concert in the 70's. . Never disappointed. Steven Tyler can sing is ass off
in the eighties you had to be home by 5 so you could go to work by 6
Aerosmith!!!!!! Brazil
Eighth grade was a blast

Be my Huckleberry?
Meet the Real Boston Aerosmith! Wild and Awesome!
❤️Tara da OG
Always loved this song thank you ❤❤❤
I forgot how chaotic this music video was 😂😂
Been there done that.
It freaks me out to think of this as an 80s video. Aerosmith will always represent the 70s to me.
True story!
The reason Tyler had the scarves tied on the mike was he had drugs stashed in them
