  • **NOW WITH LYRICS!!! (FINALLY)**
My Debut Novel, Available on Amazon.com and across Amazon Europe: www.amazon.com/...
    Band: Balzac
Album: Deep Blue: Chaos from Darkism (2007)
    Song: Rain
This is another not-old song I'm uploading, but hey, it's a fantastic song, so just sit back and relax. I'm in the process of buying all the Balzac music I can find, which means a lot of expensive importing, but I'm enjoying it anyway. They have readily available cost-effective American releases too though! Check them out!

Lyrics (Taken from Balzac's Official Horrorwood BxBxS):
    I can hear hard rain
    Like a complete unknown
    I won't let you down
When the split of the night
I touched the sound of the silence
    Nobody feeling your pain
    I'm waiting for you again
    I won't let you down
When the split of the night
You touched the sound of the silence
    Nobody knows i'm calling you
Nobody knows i'm waiting for you
    Go!
    Just like all I want
    I won't let you down
    Nobody knows
    Like a complete unknown
    I won't let you down
    Nobody knows
    I am for you
    I can see you
I can hear (it) with you

Yep, they're my favorite band for good reason. They're still releasing awesome stuff even now.

A lot of their songs are in English/Engrish, with such thick japanese accents its hard to tell them apart lol so weird seeing a reply on a comment i left so long ago 😅@@arifigueroa7327

Yeah, I used SxWxW to buy all of the studio albums not readily available in the US. But the United States gets great bonus features on Balzac releases, thanks to Misfits Records. I don't know about Europe, but the US version of Deep Blue came with a full live concert and a bunch of other things.

Agreed. The only way to get (most) of the old stuff is through Shocker International, which I have linked on the side. I realize it's not a viable option for everyone though. $100 for the 6CD boxset isn't cheap, but it's incredibly convenient!

@ChromeColossus I live in Europe and all i can get is the japanese and Misfits rec versions. I never saw a european version of their albuns

@GenocideKommando1 That's strange. It was released by G-Force Records. I was able to find it in a quick Google search (I think I found it on the German version of Amazon). I believe Balzac has since changed to Gan Shin Records for their European releases, but G-Force releases aren't impossible to find.

Not to be a dick, but this came out YEARS before that song by Nim Vinds. But yes, it does seem like balzac was a major influence; and probably screwed out of credit. Nim Vinds seem that way to me

That kind of doo-wopy song structure has been around for decades. A LOT of punk bands have used it so I really doubt that it's a rip off from any of the bands.
