- Hi everybody! Finally I was able to upload this video. We had 2 days in total blackout, no electricity, heating, water and internet. Till the last moment, we hoped that such days won't came, but we were ready for such scenario. Thankfully everyone is safe and sound! Thank you so much for your support!

A good thing is if you can get /have a tent ⛺ if there is a longer blackout you can put it on your carpet and due to the fact that this is a smaller room the body heat will increase the temperature inside.

I think that was a very important video for everyone who only hears about the attacks on the Ukrainian power grid and the resulting blackouts from the news. It is difficult to imagine how life in Ukraine must be right now. Videos like this one give a personal insight into the daily life and helps people to understand what life in Ukraine is like right now.

I feel your anger. My 80 years old Ukraine mother in law from Vinograd, Kyiv is in UK because of Russian aggression. With regard electricity, if you can get hold of one, try looking for a camping battery/inverter like a Bluetti EB70, EB55, or Jackery. It will at least give you some lights in your apartment. Yes Pavlo here in the UK we have electrical problems and councils are putting areas of our cities in darkness after say 10 pm to conserve energy. But so far we are lucky we have little or no snow but no doubt it will come when winds switch round to the North/Southerly directions and Artic conditions sweep down, giving us a blanket of the white stuff only kids enjoy, not me as I am classed as elderly and advised to remain indoors. Hope Luba's nose doesn't run to much when it unfreezes and yourself take care of her.

Hello from Sarajevo, Bosnia. We survived three winters under the siege 1992-1995: no electricity, no water, no heating, very little food from humanitarian help, constant shelling and snipering, no possibility to get out of the city. Thanks to our lovely neighbors Serbs.
So don’t worry, you will adapt and overcome somehow. First of all, you stop wearing light clothes and short sleeves inside house, but heavy wool jumpers and feather jackets.

@@jerry3579 It’s without running water inside houses/apartments. There is river in the city and few torrents, then wells, springs... There is water but not running, you have to go and bring it to your house. It’s a heavy job, especially during winter and under sniper fire. There are quite few docs online about siege of Sarajevo.

Very glad to hear that other countries including Canada are supplying Ukraine with generators for electricity. In 1998 here in eastern Canada we went through two weeks without power due to a severe ice storm. I worked with volunteers at a shelter to provide hot food and warmth. It was in January the coldest month of the year in Canada. Putin is a desperate man who knows that he is losing military and so is trying to force the Ukrainian people into terms on his conditions.
My parents lived through the V1 and V3 rocket bombings of London England during WW 2. The bombings only made the British people more determined to defeat Nazi Germany. The same will happen in this war as the rocket attacks will make the Ukrainian people more determined to win back all of your land. Stay safe.

I hope NATO provides Ukraine with missile defense systems soon. I heard Poland told Germany to give Ukraine what they were going to send to Poland saying Ukraine needs it more.
The USA needs to send our Patriot Missile defense system and more HIMARS and let’s throw in several hundred Tomahawk cruise missiles as well and shut the infrastructure down in Russia. Totally hate Russia and their criminal government

Hi Pavlo and Luba. I'm sorry you have to go through these hardships. We have 3 kerosene lamps. They are much brighter than candles. They're made of glass and have a wick inside to draw up the kerosene. I'm happy you have a gas stove to cook with. Stay safe and don't burn the appartment down 😅❤. Maybe you can buy some yellow reflective vests to wear when you go outside at night so cars can see you, or use reflective tape. Wearing white or light colored outer clothing is good too. It's a blessing that you have eachother 💛❤. The USA 🇺🇸 and NATO will continue to support Ukraine 🇺🇦❤. And you are in our thoughts and prayers daily. 🙏. Much love !

i know how you feel. we had a blizzard one year 2009- 2010 lasted for days and when it was all over snow was 15 to 20 meters deep. I was without power from regular electricity for 6 weeks and water out for 8 weeks. but at my place,.... i live out in the country,.... i have freezers full of food and generators with one 500 gallon petrol tank. For water i have cases of 1.6 l bottles 17L jugs, lots of coca-cola, juices, milk, and for baths or water to wash, cook, or flush toilet i used melted snow. Heat i too use gas i have two, 550 gallon propane tanks. So i was fine for the 8 weeks. when i wanted power i turned on generator.. used it for lights t.v. even internet. When rescue finally came to me since i live so far out they thought they were coming to recover a body...... they were very surprised when they knocked on my door and a warm body opened door. That evening i fed over 30 rescue workers and for that they plowed me out real good filled all my tanks to the brim and left me 3 huge boxes of fresh food. They said they wished everyone was as prepared as i was.. We lost over 300 people that year.. froze and starved to.. well you know. Take care be safe stay warm, your always in my heart and prayers.

I recommend a Portable Power Station used outside or in apartments and village locations. I am sure they are good brands in your country, we have so many brands that are popular in USA like BLUETTI, Jackery, ETC. Get the solar panel option 2000 watts. You can charge it with DC or AC power or Solar Panels. They have many power ports, USB Ports, wireless phone chargers, AC outlets, DC outlets.

We have seen the remembrance events for the victims of the Holodomor genocide; 1932-1933 ·, where Stalin's Russia caused the death of around 3.5 to 5 million Ukrainians. What's happening now sounds as though it will be another genocide by Putin's Russia, millions of Ukrainians stuck without electricity, heating, and water.
