Let it sit for minimum 1 month and strain using a coffee filter. The result is a deep rich concentrated oil. Mielle, who? You can be a mixologist and add sage and cloves….only limits are your imagination, lol. Hi,why do you steam with a plastic cap over your hair? I have a hair steamer n I do not cover my hair. I allow the steam to touch my scalp and hair. The steam feels so moisturizing n relaxing 😌 Also the steam has defined my coils so much n has increased my hair’s length retention.

How long can you keep the oil before it goes bad? Does it need to be refrigerated?
Anything fresh has a shorter shelf without added preservatives. Mine lasts me about 3 weeks . You can refrigerate or store in a cool place
