I didn't like the playing of the first guy that much. He tries to be creative, by throwing in some odd or weird notes, but in the end fails to make a concrete and meaningful statement, so he just stays there, beeing trapped within his own satisfaction of boring musical attempts to play some nice lines and ideas, but in reality just joking around and not getting to the point of what he is actually trying to do. Don't get me wrong I don't want to necessarily put hate on this guy, I'm just telling it the way it is, and the way I feel it. Everybody learns his whole life, and I admire, that he is a good and skillful guitarist, so eventually in a few years, he will be a more interesting and mature player. I'm a professional Jazzguitarist myself, so I know what I'm talking about. Feel free to hate me for my "unpopular" Opinion. I really don't care anymore these days.
Well that looked like fun. great tune as well. Mike is such a nice guy and is an incredible guitar player and so much more. But to be on the same stage and be playing with MIKE STERN................Gulp! What a privilege yes but I couldn't do it. Angelo DID a great job though I must say, I hope we will be seeing more of him.
