I think from now on I'll just wait for the clips to come out to watch these events, if those will even be worth watching is anyone's guess.

Aasbo's follow runs were kinda shit in my opinion. Either he was lacking horsepower or just plain could put hang on the transition created a massive gap every time.
Frederic Aasbo is a good driver and I believe that he won fair and square. With that being said he won because of other drivers making big mistakes like spinning out or running over clipping points but sometimes just running a consistent line with not much style is all you need. I'm NOT a pro driver and or a pro/am driver "drifter" but I have to say for the track lay out they had I was expecting much better driving with more style. I watched the live stream and did see some inconsistencies in calls made against the drivers with the start cones, with spinning after the finish and running over clipping points. I would like to think that its just me not as impresses with Fd this yeaar but maybe its an off year and its only the 3rd event. So maybe it will pick up in New Jersey.

Big teams have dropped such as falken, nitto, and need for speed way back when Powers was in. The vendors and pit area is pretty empty. And although there are a new vendors, some older vendors don't return. Even the car shows aren't as good, what happened to platinum VIP and the fatlace showcase? This year was a Toyota car show with some cars just running body kits and some even stock. But there was not much diversity nonetheless. Also, even with the grandstands loaded, I remember when they used to sell standing room only. Now you can't even stand by the fences because "you can block the view of the spectators" (the grandstands are pretty tall) and the screens were horrible and didn't work throughout the event which reminds me GoPro dropped off the sponsor list as well. Overall I think the "competition" is a joke. I just go and enjoy the practice.
there's little to no ROI for the vendors. FormulaD will ask for $$$$ and the companies won't even make their money back. Where's the money go? Cause certainly it's not going to the drivers or improving the events.

Aasbo's chase was, again, pretty meh with a huge gap. I agree with the judges decision based on the first run being super close and Gray unfortunately spinning out in the second one.
