Hi! This is so pretty! Thank you for the great tutorial! I am having some trouble though, my setting came out way too big for my rivoli, it isn't nice and snug like yours. I used 6mm Miyuki bugles, 11/0 Tohos and 15/0 Miyukis with 6lb fireline. Any suggestions on what I should do differently? I feel like I pulled as tight as I could without breaking the bugles (though I still chipped one on the back).
Hi Kelly. I can't wait til I see your book. Your designs have given me plenty to do while I was recovering from cancer and now carpel tunnel release surgery. Thanx so much for all you do. My question is can a smaller Rivoli fit into this design. I have some 10.5 and 8mm I just can't find anything to work for them. And thanx for all the cancer awareness pieces that you do. I make a lot of it myself. More of the gynecologist cancers though. Thanx again.
Wanda Kuhn Wilton I'd like to know the same..I have 12mm rivoli...
Hi, just finished this beautiful ring! Any hints or tips to hide the knot for the band? thank you!
Amo tu buen gusto, haces unas cosas exageradamente hermosas.

Hola donde compras tus materiales please tus trabajos are pretty
Hi Kelly! I don't leave comments that often but i had a question that i thought was important. I've been bead weaving for about a year & half & have recently started selling my work online. I have learned so much from you. You & handful of others have sparked this passion in me & it has meant more to me than i could possibly express in a quick comment. I know some online beading teachers are fine with those that make these projects & sell them (giving credit to the pattern designer of course) & some only allow patterns made for personal use only. I'm very excited about trying your new "circus" inspired designs but i thought I'd ask if it's ok if i sell what i make? I never want to disrespect you & your work by assuming it's ok. Thank you for all you've taught me. I look forward to your reply.

The fact she sells them in her shop herself, I would guess not.
Ms Kelly you have the materials for the carnival barcelet listed under the carnival ring
will it work if I use 7mm bugles?please answer me🌷
I love your tutorials and have learned so much from them. I was wondering if you have any suggestions for this problem I encountered while making this ring. I ordered numerous bugles in different colors also the same with 3 mms fire polished rounds and .5 stretch magic , however when I got to the band none of my fire polished rounds would allow the stretch magic to cross through! I was very disappointed because I had matched them with the Rivoli, seed beads and bugle beads and I had already used the fire polished on the back of my ring base, ended up having to used 6mm beads. Any suggestions?
nancy hallauer Well, I was thinking that those needles with the wide collapsible eyes might work for something like that-it would presumably be stiffer than the Stretch Magic itself and thus easier to push through the fire polish rounds. Hope that helps!
Hi Kelly, I need some help. I love this ring idea but instead of Rivolies I want to bezel the little clear stones that are used in paper craft projects. The are not completely round and are very thick, a little over 1/4 ". I made the half of the bezel but it was no where near thick enough. I would need one, maybe 2 more rows. Any ideas?
hi Kelly can us peeps from the uk get your kits ?
can this work with a square stone?
Does anyone know how to convert this to an 18mm rivoli instead of a 14mm?
Hi Kelly, have a question how much modification if you used a 12mm rivoli? I have many in beautiful colors and really do not like them bigger.
I don't suggest revising the pattern to use a 12mm but if you gave it a try you would have to use smaller bugle beads and you would have to play with using smaller size seed beads. This ring top as is, is only about the size of a dime or a smidgen larger.
Thank you, you are so sweet to reply. I did go to a bead show in my area on Saturday and did purchase 14mm rivoli not the color I was looking for but I love these earrings and want to make them soon. You are the first person I began to follow when I started beading a couple years ago and continue to follow and love your tutorials, you are a great teacher and love your lovely calming voice. Also I have a cousin who lives in Forest City looking forward to a visit with her and your shop. Thank you for all you do, you are amazing!!!

Hi there... I'm trying to do it but I have a lil problem... it seems that Size 3 Bugles are 9mm (the ones I have) not 6mm.... In fact I couldn't put a 14mm rivoli in it... at least I'm still trying but I don't know how to do it
Hi LeXi, (and everybody else) I am working on that design as well but struggle a lot with it. I am sure, that you definitively cannot use 9mm bugles with a 14 mm rivoli. The 14 mm rivoli is meant for the 6 mm bugles. Maybe try a 16 or 18 mm rivoli in that case, if you didn't already tried ;-) ...
I have different problems with that design, tried the ring and also earrings for it but unfortunately I have lots and lots of annoying thread breakage and bugle breakages. I think this is a matter of finding the correct tension and maybe the bugles of the different manufacturers are different in quality... I am located in Germany and the bugles I have are very sensitive and have really sharp ends which maltreat the thread a lot.
I think I have to contact Kelly directly, doesn't seem to me that she answers questions in here a lot...
But this project for the whole Carnival set is just so adorable, I will continue with it because I desperately want to master it... ;-)
Hi Christine, to be honest I tried the 16mm rivoli with the 9mm bugles and it fits just perfect... when I upload the picture I will show it to you! :) Thanks for answering! Hope you fix your problems!
Can someone please tell me what size rivoli this is. thanks!
***** thank you!
No entiendo nada
