Great video again Trickster. Pretty much agree with most of what you're saying here. I might rate a few things a little differemtly bu a step (like Tegia without Uniques being a little high), but essentially it looks good.
@@gavkenny yeah, I was mentioning that might be a stretch too. It's a little hard to know for sure without a lot of data for games played without unique cards. There's also not that much of a reason for me to spend a ton of time testing the deck without uniques to make sure haha
Thanks for this video! I completely agree with your picks. Maybe I would put Treyst in S tier as well. The hero ability and Havens put a clock on your plan. If you don't act accordingly you have a hard time winning. But I can see why you put it only in A-tier!
@TheBravosHatter that makes sense too. I just haven't seen nearly as much success with treyst as I did with Waru. Possibly it is because the deck is too reliant on haven and in the games where you don't get it the rest of the deck can't carry. Also I think you still have at least one sub 50% matchup where I felt like waru was favored or even with everything.
I think your non-unique tiers are spot on! Treyst being top after Robin Hood ban was expected. But I don't have and have never played against anyone with $1000 of uniques so I can't comment on the other one :( I doubt the 2nd set will fix this.
@@morenfin yeah, that is one of the most unfortunate things about the game right now. Without uniques you can still do well with treyst and sigismar but better uniques obviously only help. As you mentioned though most people never even face these making it not as big of a problem. I think the marketplace will help some with more supply and that as we get more sets there will also just be more and more uniques in each tier which could hopefully move down prices as well. With such scarcity I can't even show off a lot of decks and even if I did you all couldn't recreate them :/
I am surprised to see the muna list only running two spindle permanents. And no daughters or kitzune to draw into your uniques and rares What do you guys think
I think the permanent can be a bad draw later and you don't want to get two. It also isn't necessary and things can go fine without it. As for the draw cards I think a lot of people have decided that it isn't worth giving your opponent a card. I'd definitely want to try them more though and see!
What are some recommended tournaments to take part in? I have no locals near me so I have to do online I guess. Are people now active on BGA or is it still exaltered?
@@february7438 at the hours I play I can always find an opponent on BGA. I think there are tournaments on there too but I haven't tried that feature. If you check the Discord links in the description you'll be able to find some tournament links too!
@@february7438 in that list I was ranking the hero abilities. I still think he is fine but a lot of his cards are just commons from other factions that use a rare slot right now. If he gets the right support he'll do well but some of the crazy cards like bravos bastion and things carry the other heroes pretty hard. Most of the muna package right now anchors itself making him irrelevant and a boost from teija is just better. If we get strong 3 cost cards with cool effects that can't anchor themselves things will really take off. I also think the exhausting mechanic will fit well in the next set because you can't use the exhausted cards in your reserve anyway... why not use them to get a free anchor?
@@mightychunx I haven't seen that many that are super crazy normally but there are some that are pretty good with the Foundry. Usually rats or trainees that cost 1-2 from hand and have crazy reserve effects.
@TricksterCG interesting! I actually prefer Kojo without Foundry, as it just adds a level of variance to the deck that I'm not a fan of. I'm playing a pretty straight up 'good stuff' Kojo that's doing pretty well, but it certainly doesn't have the power level of other decks
I have a unique ordis atlas that gives tokens gigantic and places 2 recruits in each expedition. sadly it costs 7 from hand, which is the only way to get the open the gates effect.
Pretty solid update. I do think Waru still has a 50/50 matchup or better into everything else, and has a massive advantage into the most popular deck. Overall I think the deck is better positioned before since it runs into less of its worst matchup (the mirror), and robin was severely overrated. It kind of feels like cheating to play the deck right now, and I don't even have good uniques.
@@Mundungu sounds similar to my experience with the hero. I could have also mentioned that the deck is harder to play than most which could result in less tops than it deserves at times too.
Yeah I definitely agree with this list. Fen imo has fallen off from her being meta in the beginning of BtG. Haven't seen her in many top 16s since Robin nerf. Makes u wonder why the Lyra S tiers are so expensive if the people who have them aren't topping 🤔
Equinox must nerf Haven Bastion, that's the only card in the game that goes 0% of times in mana and any deck that can run It automatically becomes 10× stronger. Most op card in the game.
@@tirionpendragon I've put one in the mana before... if I already had 2 others out 😅 I am expecting other decks to get more similar strength cards with time. If they don't that may need to happen eventually
Tier list made with and without best In slot uniques is an amazing idea, please continue this format after the next expansion !

I remember you putting Arjun really high in an early list. What do you think it takes for him to go crazy?
