    I absolutely loved the Epic React Flyknit 2. Such a shame that Nike has moved away from the lively and lightweight feel towards this heavier and supposedly more cushioned shoe.

      Me too I bought like 3 pairs of these. I use them for my normal runs. 3 miles runs. I’m on my last pair and trying to find a replacement model since they don’t make the epic reacts anymore

    What's going on with Nike's training line and the weight gains? Pegasus 40, Infinity 4, Invincible 3, Zoom Fly 5...missing the 2019 times of Pegasus Turbo 2, Zoomfly Flynit and Peg 36, Epic React,...They were versatile, light and awesome. Nike has gone dowhill except for Vaporfly, which for me has not improved so much since original model anyway

      I'm not sure about the other shoes you have mentioned, but the Pegasus 40 is only five grams heavier than the Nike Pegasus 39. The 40th version is 10 times more comfortable, more bounce, and much better fit than the dull 39th model that had a "dead middlesole " with no bounce or good cushioning. My Adios 6 that year that the Peg 39 launched was much more comfortable and nimble and had almost half the middlesole stack .... Great job, Nike, for resurrecting in great style the Pegasus in 2023 !

      @@MiracleWarriors i thought that Peg 40 was only an upper update compared to 39th. Tbh haven't tried them, just gathering yt feedback

    • @MiracleWarriors
      @MiracleWarriors Год назад

      @guiibogar it seems that way. Especially when all reviewers wold wide keep saying it was an upper update.
      The grip is better , the lockdown is one of the best of any shoes launched this year, without that flywire bothering ... the React is as soft as the one found in the Pegasus 38 , and with the nimble of the Pegasus 36, and it is now perfectly true to size. The only advance I see in buying a Peg 39 over the Peg 40, besides the price , is to get the FlyEasy model that was kind cool for comfort and easy putong it in/off in mind . The fit is really important to me not just because of comfort but because I can use it in my true size (8 US) instead half a size or use a full size. The snug fit makes the runs much more enjoyable and can be really quick .... after the Peg 39 I have tried the Adizero SL and Velocity Nitro 2 and both had really bad lockdown ... could not run fast as I wanted to. One is a little too firm in the middlesole and the other was way too soft ....after that I got the Pegasus 40 and boy...old tech React with Zoom Air made me run much faster and with much more fun !
      Nike got me well this year with the Pegasus 40 ...now I'm really interested on trying the Structure 25 and the Vomero 17 and I don't care if they are heavy or not if they have the 5 stars upper fit of the Pegasus !
      Have a great day friend...sorry for typing too much !

      @@MiracleWarriors I've owned many Pegs, and I work in a running shoe store. The midsole of the 40 is exactly the same as the 39...

    • @MiracleWarriors
      @MiracleWarriors Год назад

      @QronoZ713 Then, my pair of Pegasus 39 were defective since the middlesole was hard at the beginning and took at least 100km to soften up and still I did not notice enough bounce from it, just a bit more comfort . Since the first run, the middlesole of my Peg 40 was very soft and comfortable ( not firm at all as the previous version). I could feel the bounce pushing me forward... and I'm weighting the same as when I had my Peg 39 . So far, I hit near 50km with my Peg 40, and it is just not more comfortable as my Gel-Nimbus 25 ! LOL.
      The rubber in the forefoot seems more soft, too ...I guess that is why the grip seems better ...hopefully the lifespan will pass the ~500km (Peg 40)or so that I had with the Peg 39 after I got bored using it for so long and donated it still in great shape for casual use at least.
