YES, I'd love to see more videos in Korea--food, natural beauty, and culture included. You should give yourself several weeks next trip, at least, and use a good portion of the time just for yourselves.🥰 I've always wanted to visit S. Korea. My ex ( an Army COL) was stationed in Korea for several years, and the people, culture, language, food, and stunning scenery stole her heart. The kkwabaegi you ate in this video stole _my_ heart.😄 Thanks for another delicious video, Shinichi and Satoshi. 💙💙
Korea is such a nice place. I remember visiting Gwangjang market with my family a few years ago. We got some food n just sat snacking. Some random guy and his wife sat nearby just handed me an empty paper cup and poured me some soju. And this was brunch lol. 😂 Great place great people 👍
Totally agree with you conclusion! The Korean food in Korea is so much more diverse, experimental, complex, and delicious than the outposts of Korean food elsewhere.
Love traditional Korean soups, stews, grilled meats and side-dishes. Please go back, love to see both of you tasting some old favorites like galbi-jjim, galbitang, Doenjang jjigae and so many more.
I don't blame you Shinichi, I'd wanna eat everything in sight also. Everything looked so good. I'm glad you got to go to the stall with the lady from the Netflix show. The mandu dumplings looked perfect and so good.😊
Oh my - I am feeling seriously envious of you both! That makgeoli looked amazing with the fried peppers! Brings back memories of the first time I drank makgeoli back in 1983, sitting on the banks of a rice paddy with local farmers and government workers from Seoul who were required to spend two days per year helping farmers with planting then harvesting rice. I was privileged to be able to accompany them to plant the rice seedlings then we sat and ate Lunch together and shared some chilled makgeoli. Thank you for sharing. Love from Australia ❤❤
Wow, wonderful video. Reminds me of our trip to Gwangjang Market. But now I want to go back and try that stuffed pepper and makgeolli...lol. Let me know if you guys go back to Seoul and we can meet up.
Loved this video! Should you be so lucky to revisit South Korea, in addition to more food vlogging, I'd like to see you both indulging in manscaping, e.g., skin care (facials), new (hair) dos, mani/pedicures...before/after pix, the big reveal....looking forward to it! Thank YOU!
Glad you had such a good time and enjoyed the food. Of course the food is better! I agree, next time get a place with a kitchen so you can cook too. Satoshi - love the glasses. Hello from mostly sunny Oregon, US.
Yes, it would be great to see you in Korea again. Maybe you can try the ferry from Fukuoka next time. That Gwangjang market is legendary. Did you know there is an upstairs floor as well? But it doesn't have food upstairs.
Cant believe Satoshi ate the Hotteok! The cinnamon inside the hotteok! Cinnamon is Satoshi kryptonite! 🤣🤣 One of my favorite donuts! It's called kkwabaegi (꽈배기), it means twist/twisted. These donuts are so good especially when it comes straightoutta the oil! It's so pluffy, chewy, and crunchy on the outside with the sugar coating! If you ever get this donuts and it gets cold, put it in the microwave for a couple of seconds. 🤣🤣🤗🤗👍👍🇰🇷
Really enjoyed this one! I’m a Korean who grew up in Seoul but has never been to Kwangjang market. 😅 I thought this market has become too expensive and touristy but as watching you guys enjoy eating there, I feel like I must go there next time when I go to Seoul. You can also try eating at Namdaemun market on your next visit. 😊
I went to stall 64 when I visited in 2012 after a concert!! I thought it looked weirdly familiar but I found the photo and it actually was the same one T-T it was so close to the hostel I was staying at 🤤💖🙏 I got the topokki too 💖
Yesss go back to Korea. because you love it so much and because after watching this video, you have totally changed my perception of Korean food. I wanted to go there next January but I thought so myself I don’t really love Korean food because it’s all so heavy with the gochujang, but there’s so much more that I need to explore. So now I want to go too. And icing on the cake is the 24 hour prepackaged ramen shop! Lol
Korean food like korean street food, modernized Korean foods blow up so fast! Now everyone knows korea, korean food. Like 10 plus years ago people never ate korean food or heard of what korea is about. Love it how my motherland is getting so popular. 🇰🇷👋👋
The noodles and dumplings are not frieds so you could definitely enjoy those. The kimbap is also not fried. The only fried things were the mung bean pancake, doughnut and the sweet fried thing at the end. There are other choices as well. Enjoy!
I am a Korean. My age is 54 years old. As a Korean, I have had many experiences in Korea. But when you see foreigners uploading videos after traveling to Korea, it's almost the same. People around the world probably think that there is only Gwangjang Market in South Korea. They really don't know much about South Korea. There are so many good places in South Korea that are not known to foreigners. And so free and safe. If you like fishing, why not stay overnight for just two days in the fall, bring some food, and go fishing in a rural reservoir? Then you will be amazed by the nature and convenience of South Korea. You will feel true freedom. And there are many cheap and good traditional markets in South Korea.
hello. I am a Korean living in Seoul, South Korea. For the past year, Gwangjang Market has become a problem by overcharging foreign tourists. The intention of the video posted by the RUclipsr was to inform more people about the strengths of Korea, and it may have been done with good intentions. As a Korean, I do not recommend Gwangjang Market. Thank you for reading this long article.
Go there only if you want to experience the atmosphere. This place is increasingly becoming a foreigner tourist trap. You can get better food elsewhere.

This was such a fun video. I'd love to see you go to Korea again, it looks like a great place to visit.
You two should do a collaboration with DancingBacons! Love the outdoor market food vlogs.
The only problem with that is Shander's girlfriend is never on camera. It would be a cool collab thought.
@@shannondorewow I am subbed to Dancing bacons they are lesbians? I’m a lesbian, I thought it was a straight couple.
@nikeeweston Yeah Shander post pics of them both on her insta, but when filming, only Shander is on camera. Smiling and looking cute as always.😊

I literally started drooling while watching you both eat the noodle soup. It sounds so good!!
Totally agree with you conclusion! The Korean food in Korea is so much more diverse, experimental, complex, and delicious than the outposts of Korean food elsewhere.
I miss Seoul!

We'd love to see more of Korea!!! 🎉❤
Satoshi being okay with cinnamon is a revelation! Go back to Korea for a longer period of time! I'd love to watch :D
Where ever you two go, I'll be happy to follow !

That mandu at the beginning looked soooo chewy and yummy.
Would love to go to Korea 😊
Cannot wait to go Seoul and check out all the street food markets and coffee shops
I don't blame you Shinichi, I'd wanna eat everything in sight also. Everything looked so good. I'm glad you got to go to the stall with the lady from the Netflix show. The mandu dumplings looked perfect and so good.😊

I can’t wait for you to go back for a longer time! What about inviting Shinichi’s sister too! I know she loves Korean food too!

Yes, more Korea, please !
Hi guys. I enjoyed this video. Yes please! Go back to Korea. I’m so interested in the food, music and culture there. 😀
Love from Tennessee 🤗💕

That hoddeok must have been really good if Satoshi liked it even though it had cinnamon.
Omg!!! You guys are so awesome!
You should get together with Josh and Ollie if Jolly and Korean Englishmen. Josh went to Uni in Korea and he really knows great places for food😊
Mangwon market is also a great place to go on a foodtrip in South Korea

I already regret not staying longer and I haven't even gone yet....5 days are waaay too short. Thanks for sharing your video!
Have a good time!
You both should give tour guides. You 2 are excellent as your guides. Rest job💕
Maybe one day!
Oh, now I want to go to Korea. My friend can go running around looking BTS. I'll just eat the yummy food.
👍👍
Every one loves Korean food even in okinawa and hawaii😂😂😂

Korean food is also poplar in California. We actually have many Korean restaurants
Hi guys tabi eats
Go back!
My spouse and I try to avoid fried food. Are there other choices at the market? We will be there in a couple of weeks
The noodles and dumplings are not frieds so you could definitely enjoy those. The kimbap is also not fried. The only fried things were the mung bean pancake, doughnut and the sweet fried thing at the end. There are other choices as well. Enjoy!
All Koreans in Japan and Hawaii be like “How dare they say Korean food is better in Korea!” 😂.
Compare Korean delivery food to Japanese delivery food
I feel , one day, update the profile picture on this Channel. There's nothing bad about it, I just feel, it's time to update.
it’s only 2.5 hrs from NRT to ICN so go back and visit other traditional markets 😂

Hey man what happened to the sydney video?
I hope the 2 Korea can unite one day . The anger experiment is a failure. Engage in the world and enjoy. Isolate and live a starving lie.
Why everything fried? I don’t like too much fried food 😢

I heard the market is overrated and overpriced due to over tourist visits.
Even our own citizens don’t go.
eat one's own home
Over priced tourist trap with average food. There are many better markets Seoul.
Korean people in the local area don't go to this market. All about ripping off tourists. Please go to other markets.
Hey, You'd better visit another market. This market is terrible! I am sure that you will regret if you go there!
rip off
Everything looked so good! Loved your excitement. You must go bsck! 🤗
Im a 30 walk from this market. Guess I’ll head there now!
