Thanks for the Popeye footage! I currently work there so it's nice to see how the original boats were, how Poop deck originally soaked people, and shirts and shoes really didn't matter at the time!
So many classic attractions in one video! Theme parks aren't what they used to be huh? (I also saw some bits of scarezones of HHN 2001 sprinkled in the video)
What was that, like I don't understand? Was that an actual character parade? ...... In their actual vehicles!?!? Sigh. Well, thanks for the great restorations.
Hi Kendal, I can confirm this video was definitely shot in October 2001, I know this because 2001 was the first year I bought a digital camera, I still have the images from the Islands of adventure visit, these were taken on October 16th
I see the ford LTD from the first Men In Black movie. I still wonder what happened to the car because I been to Universal Studios Florida several times and it’s not there
@@DisneyDave I’m going to guess it’s probably somewhere in storage inside one of the soundstages at Universal alongside with one of the screen used Delorean Time Machines from Back To The Future. Or maybe some private collector has it or maybe it’s at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles
The HHN decorations just brought back so many memories! This was the first year I attended HHN
Truly a magical time at the parks
The parade with cars driving to “New York New York” in October of 2001 is one of the darkest, post apocalyptic things I’ve ever seen.
Especially after 9/11.
Oh this is awesome. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen the old universal studios escape logo at the resort entrance
You are going restoration crazy....... and I'm here for it. Kudos.
Hehehe They had to be done! 😊
Spiderman before the HD remaster, since the Remaster this ride is so much more clear and realistic . One of my favourite rides in IOA
It was great seeing the new HD remaster version when it premiered , If my memory serves me right, Didn't they add Stan Lee in this remaster?

Great to hear you like them Justin, Thanks for watching 👍

The Mummy changed a ton

Yes, this was a character parade back in the day, although it must have been short lived, I cant recall see it again, Thanks for watching
This happened the month after the September 11 attacks!
I have to ask. Are you sure this was October 2001? The crowd seems heavy for just after 9/11.

Interesting. I would have thought the crowds would have been less. Thanks for confirming! Love you videos.@@DisneyDave

That's very true Christopher, I'm sure this was the only time I ever saw this car in the park
