Seriously one thing I can’t help saying. The speed and cleanliness of the trains in western countries are of next level. Though Indian Railways is always trying to increase the speed of trains and they have done it successfully for few trains and counting. IRCTC is also trying their level best to improve the catering services on board. These are the things every single Indian should feel proud of. A big shout out for Indian Railways for all the improvements they are trying to do and the efforts of IRCTC without which it was impossible. Besides, the most important thing is the cooperation of common people to maintain cleanliness and proper service that will accelerate the development process of Indian Railways. Hi, good to see your latest vlog of your travel on Kings Cross to Edinburgh route. It takes me a long way back to 1978 when I came to England to join my first job as a doctor. I also travelled on the same route up to Newcastle. It was totally a different story then. The train was so full that I had to go all the way to Newcastle standing up. Someone told me that it was due a football match in Newcastle. Another interesting fact was that those days you were only allowed to take 7 USD worth of currency out of India, which came to about £5.00! I had to borrow the cost of money from a friend of mine who came here a few years earlier. Enjoy your stay here. Safe travel. Dr Arun Mishra.

Its nice to know that Indians are observing that they keep their places clean. Secret to it is very simple "be a responsible citizen". Government can only do so much, after that its the responsibility of the citizens to keep their surroundings clean and dispose of the trash in proper trash cans and if you cant find a trash can take your trash home with you and then dispose it off. So simple to follow and the entire country will become clean. In India the land along the tracks has become a big garbage dump, people just throw trash out the moving train :(

Nothing is possible without railways. We are grateful to England for bringing railways to India practically (but we had the knowledge as it is sugessted from our Religious Scriptures) but after that India has mastered this field. Along with our capabilities and education level, we also have railways in the high mountains also. We are the highest in Railways. It looks very bad to see Britain's railways being compared with India's. But every country has its own domain and we are experts in it. Thank you

Hello Dolesh, glad to see you at King's Cross station. Hope you visited the Harry Potter shop merchandise shop there, as King's Cross is an essential part of the Harry Potter books. Platform nine and three quarters is from where the Harry and his friends board the Hogwarts Express. Every year on 1st September there is a small gathering of Harry Potter fans at the King's Cross station at around 11 am to celebrate the book series because according to the books every year 1st September at 11am the Hogwarts Express leaves for Hogwarts School marking the start of a new school session.

lner Ka history ek bahut sundar history hai
Your purani Wali azuma is called Intercity 225 and it also an electric one not diesel. It is hauled by a class 91 electric loco. As you plan your journeys meticulously please read up things from proper sources. Your Azuma Hitachi train is actually a hybrid one since beyond Edinburgh it will operate on diesel while your purani Azuma is fully electric. Hope you don't mind my saying all this---A veteran railway enthusiast.
