I knew how to farm syndicate, but never knew how to set up a X farm on X member. Best guid so far, i'll try this as well in ssf. hopefully, i'll get a jackpot.
I have used this strategy for several leagues and hit the ultimate jackpot in 3.23 by getting a full stack of house of mirrors (yes, this does drop from Gravicius chests in Transportation, I can 100% confirm). Never got headhunter or mageblood cards somehow, but they can drop as well. Divine Orbs are pretty common. However, most of the time you get some strange uniques. The most common cards are blocked since they stealth-buffed Gravicius some leagues ago. Your guide is very good. Most prominent streamers have no clue how Betrayal works and make some shitty guides. However, I am not sure I would create relationships between the other guy in Transportation (in this case Vorici) and other Syndicate members as it reduces the chance for Gravicius to spawn in Transportation, thus reducing the chance to upgrade him. In my opinion you should have red lines between Graivicus and everyone, but no lines between Vorici and other members (other than Gravicius). Otherwise you might get dozens of Transportation encounters with Vorici and someone else, but without Gravicius. If Vorici has no lines, Gravicius will always spawn in case 2 or more members are rolled for the encounter. I also would not create any relationships between non-Transportation members, because it reduces the chance to spawn Gravicius in other safehouses, although you lose some opportunities to rank up other members in this case. But, most of the time, the limiting factor is to rank up Gravicius, and not to feed intelligence into Transportation. So, in my opinion, the best would be Gravicius had red lines with everyone, and no other lines were present on the board. By the way, a similar strategy was applied some leagues ago before they changed Betrayal. Back then you did the same thing with Aisling in Research, because you got the Aisling slam in the normal safehouse (before they moved it to the Catherina safehouse).
since u seem very educated when it comes to betrayal... is area lvl important for that spacific farm? (since for some of the rewards from betrayal it actually matters afaik) or could u just spam white maps and still have access to all the potential div cards?!

I got my stack of HoM in a Lvl 83 Caterina Safehouse (don't even know if this can drop in normal safehouses). I also don't know whether the rewards are better in Caterina Safehouse. I think yes, but I am not 100% sure. Plus, you get two chests with full stacks of div cards in the Caterina safehouse. But, of course, you need much longer as you have to rebuild the board every time. Sorry to disappoint you, but if you do it on white maps, I would be very interested about your results.
If member in Transportation don't have relationships, then almost every encounter in Transportation (if Gravicious is leader) you will get only 1 member, because no relationships

i have gravicius in transportation + another guy. but i have huge problems to generate transportation juice. it take me around 20 maps to fill 1 transportation is this normal ?
One thing to note (and not sure how it affects results), but you can access the safehouse while still within the map (view investigation after clearing the encounter). Jun acts like a map device. In your case, I think you basically could get more rounds through once Transpo safehouse has been raided. But not sure if that messes up strats.
Been using this strat and managed to get 7 years and a few other rinks so far. However, I’m not sure whether it’s cauz my board becomes so complicated (even messier than yours) that it breaks the mechanics or not, but sometimes my encounters don’t even follow the alternating transport/fort anymore even though neither intels are full. One other problem I ran into is that it smh becomes EXTREMELY rare that my secondary shows up during any encounter if he ends up the leader after I interrogate Grav in his safe house. Both issues emerged yesterday. Before that it was quite smooth and organized. My other theory is that using the betrayal scarabs might cause some unnecessary nuisance for stray cauz I did experiment with them to speed up the process. Anyway just wanted to ask if you’ve experienced anything like this before.

im running into a problem where gravicius or my other dude (trying to get chimera) are trusted with 3-4 people but no rivals, and every time a transpo happens in a map, i cant do anything. do i just keep grinding or am i doing something wrong
So what is the key when starting the setup? just switching vorici and gravicius around the different sections (transport, research etc.) to get as many rivals? or should everyone be a rival? your board has a lot of lines :D i tried setting it up, got vorici and gravicius inside trans and some links, but i dont know if i can effectively get enough rivals now ^^

A question that comes to mind is: If you want to transition to farming another safehouse without losing all those connections how'd you approach it? Lets say you are farming Gravicious but now you have found an Awakened gem you really want to level up, so you want to get Tora in research. What do you do? Do you move all people to Transport until you only have 2 in research and when you are done do all the transfers back?
Whats the difference in rewards from grav as leader 3 star (+1 from cata) in mastermind vs 3 star in a safe house? Ive gotten better rewards usually from masterminds than safehouses but dont know if there sre numbers behind that. This seems alot faster though
When I tested it briefly in crucible there didn't seem to be any difference in t4 vs t3 gravicius just you would get 2 uses. You didn't kept track of every card set you got? Would like to see a list. Btw you don't want any non-Grav and non-Vorici to have any connections between each other. Because they will summon each other more often instead of Vorici / Grav if they have connections.
Thanks for the video, something that still isn't clear with me is relationships. From my understanding it doesn't really matter who is in Fort, Research & Intervention, as long as it's 2, 2, 5, 5. So do I want to develop relationships between for example, all Intervention members. Or should there be relationships between intervention & research? I understand everyone on the board should be connected to gravicius, including in this case vorici.

Wherever Gravicius is you need to derank him to 0 which kicks him out, then you try to put him in Transportation. Otherwise rinse and repeat. Also the captain role (Vorici in this case) doesn't matter much because his rank will always be low.

nice voice chad, do u think that this can be viable profit strat in trade softcore? in the current league i got The Offspring (sold belt for 13d) and some full stacks for raw divines like The Sephirot (10D), Divine Beauty(7D) but i was doing t4 gravicious (rushing catarina with t3 gravicious in transportation) btw from that all catarina runs i only got just 4 veiled orb to this day lmao
I did this as my starter in 3.25 to jump start my league. I got a voltatix, ryslathas, and stacks of divines on day 2-3. Kept doing it and ended up with mirror shard as my highest I believe but quite a few good hits. It's something that for sure has to be done in a long grind to see "consistent" results.

Why do you want Gravivicius as the leader of the safehouse if possible? Additional rewards for leaders were removed long ago, so is there some other advantage to it?
Nice guide! Realistically how long does it take to manipulate the board to the point where only Gravicius and one other desirable member are on transportation?
Isolation doesn't take that long maybe 20-30 maps but building all the relationships can be 10s of hours. You are gaining stuff during this time period so it isn't just setup with no reward.

Another noob question: when you encounter Gravicius for the very first time while starting to set up the board, do you release him if he shows up for the wrong division (non-transportation ones), or keep him there and hope he and someone else might offer the switch division option after some relationships are formed? Equipment doesn't matter unless you want the plunder notable for some increased rarity (which can be nice for some gold I guess). There is Reinforcement Scarab that brings extra people more often that you should always use There is Intelligence Scarab that increases the intelligence gained that you should also use but comes with some bugs. - When you interrogate a leader and it says 40 per turn it actually will give you 8 per turn so that can be annoying to micromanage. I have an updated syndicate guide coming out soon that has a lot more simple of connections to be used in a trade environment with this in mind. - Effectively what you want to do instead of a full connection is you connect everyone to your 2 main targets and no connections to each other. Further you want to avoid a connection from the (in this case) intervention and research leaders to your main targets so they get brought along much less frequently to avoid the intelligence bug with the scarab.

And now gravicius is not pull back to transportation. How can I fix this? How can I remove 2 random people from transportation and bring back gravicius there?

yeah my understanding (which is limited to be fair) is that you want them all to be rivals although even further than that is you want a limited amount of connections. in theory you want everyone connected to your 2 important members (transportation) but not to each other but I've never really done that in depth of testing and the rate of safehouses was plenty high with just connecting everyone to everyone
Unless something changed, why would you block fortification. How is it increasing chances of transportation, if you just randonly either get transport or get nothing instead of fort. What's the reason behind putting gravicius as a leader, i didn't get it.
You don't randomly get nothing it will choose transportation as the 3rd encounter if fortification is ready. You put grav as leader so that he falls to non-captain status afterwards and is easier to level.
Cauz Asilint showed up during the transportation encounter. It doesn’t matter what division they belong to, they always provide intel for the specific encounter where’re they appear. That’s why you’ll need to build up the relationships to make sure that as many people show up as possible during your transport encounter so you can mass interrogate them for transport intel.
I wouldn't recommend it given the value of catarina from veiled orbs but taking an extra map or two out of your rotations to ensure gravicius is leveled up for the catarinas is most likely worthwhile.

it takes me like 4-5 maps without scarabs insure that you're maintaining stars properly running the other encounters in maps the relationships (rivals) from the transportation members to other syndicate members is very important if you've skipped this step
Question, if I get gravicius as 2nd guy follower, and let’s say vorici as leader in transportation, and the safe house is just 50%, can I choose interrogate gravicius and lose 1 rank? To help fill up the safe house progression? Because of the board is full, gravicius will be out in 1 turn yes? Hope you understand my question.😂
Cool guide, been playing ssf this league and working on syndicate for a change, do you think this will also be a good (or not bad) stratergy for getting a paridoxica? IE as you are running transportation multiple times it should eventually drop?
I'm not sure what you're referring to but things like member specific veiled modifiers (left unveiled) can be quite expensive as people try to unlock modifiers to craft themselves. You can dump tab generic veiled items as well like weapons, boots, ect and they will sell readily.
There are always 3 members outside of the syndicate at all times. To bring one of them in you need to choose a "remove from syndicate" option for another current member. Repeat until you get who you want in.
Is there a way to force someone in transportation right now i have aisling and gravicus in it but never seem to get the option to bring vorici in transportation how do I cause this
scarab tiers were removed so safehouse scarab rewards are random now. There is no weighting toward rarer scarabs. Dont bother trying to farm good scarabs in betrayal. Betrayal is dead content this league tbh
not guaranteed. Because scarab tiers were removed, rank 3 and 4 syndicate members are not guaranteed to drop rare scarabs. Its just random. You'll do it 10 times in a row and get no divination of curation. Its not worth running betrayal anymore except if you have a very fast powerful character that can farm Catarina in the minimum amount of maps possible and even then it might not be worth it because the Catarina fight is slow and terrible due to invulnerability phases
I did around 20 cats this league and got only 1 curation from him, but yeah, it can drop. And if u are farming intervention, u will get some paradoxicas (i got 3)
I’ve been farming this in Cata and Intervention safehouses and it is extremely rare for non basic Div scarabs to spawn. Only got 1 Curation and 0 Completions so far after 7 Catarinas with T4 Grav
This is what i have been doing. But ive been getting garbage T3 Gravicious loot. I have been trying to research if theres any weight difference between T3 and T4 but theres no concrete info. based on others data, it looks like T4 has better weighting. but because i only got garbage, i stoppped.

Syndicate wise I take everything that isn't Plunder and Intelligence Gathering notables. That being said Piracy and Plunder is probably worthwhile I was just doing a hc challenge early in the league and didn't want to risk it.
To bad they removed the white socket craft. I guess that was their quick fix to remove something that was traded via discord and all they could do this league 😆. I wonder if they don't like the white socket idea, given that they didn't reintroduce them via beast or harvest. Or if there was just no time left.
Frustrating video. Create rivals with who? Everyone else? The two you want to farm? Do you not rival certain people? How do you even get Gravicius to Transportation in the first place? Do you need him there before you setup these rivalries? This video is like someone opening a book in the middle and explaining the current situation.
I recently released an updated video that will clarify all of that just as you requested. The older method was just a haphazard simple method without much thought required or reading.
Take everything that isn't Intelligence Gathering and things that synergize well with fast mapping like altars or destructive play, shrines, strongboxes, ect.

Why do you want Gravivicius as the leader of the safehouse if possible? Additional rewards for leaders were removed long ago, so is there some other advantage to it?
When the safehouse is finished it will swap the captain and non-captain so having grav become a non-captain makes it easier to rank him back up.

Nice guide! Realistically how long does it take to manipulate the board to the point where only Gravicius and one other desirable member are on transportation?
Isolation doesn't take that long maybe 20-30 maps but building all the relationships can be 10s of hours. You are gaining stuff during this time period so it isn't just setup with no reward.

Another noob question: when you encounter Gravicius for the very first time while starting to set up the board, do you release him if he shows up for the wrong division (non-transportation ones), or keep him there and hope he and someone else might offer the switch division option after some relationships are formed? I have been practicing in standard during the past couple days but still haven't got a hang of it

Equipment doesn't matter unless you want the plunder notable for some increased rarity (which can be nice for some gold I guess).
There is Reinforcement Scarab that brings extra people more often that you should always use
There is Intelligence Scarab that increases the intelligence gained that you should also use but comes with some bugs.
- When you interrogate a leader and it says 40 per turn it actually will give you 8 per turn so that can be annoying to micromanage. I have an updated syndicate guide coming out soon that has a lot more simple of connections to be used in a trade environment with this in mind.
- Effectively what you want to do instead of a full connection is you connect everyone to your 2 main targets and no connections to each other. Further you want to avoid a connection from the (in this case) intervention and research leaders to your main targets so they get brought along much less frequently to avoid the intelligence bug with the scarab.

I did a mistake of having 3 people in transport including gravicius because trying to establish connection. And I done the safe house. And now gravicius is not pull back to transportation. How can I fix this? How can I remove 2 random people from transportation and bring back gravicius there?

yeah my understanding (which is limited to be fair) is that you want them all to be rivals although even further than that is you want a limited amount of connections.
in theory you want everyone connected to your 2 important members (transportation) but not to each other but I've never really done that in depth of testing and the rate of safehouses was plenty high with just connecting everyone to everyone
Unless something changed, why would you block fortification. How is it increasing chances of transportation, if you just randonly either get transport or get nothing instead of fort.

You don't randomly get nothing it will choose transportation as the 3rd encounter if fortification is ready. You put grav as leader so that he falls to non-captain status afterwards and is easier to level.

Cauz Asilint showed up during the transportation encounter. It doesn’t matter what division they belong to, they always provide intel for the specific encounter where’re they appear. That’s why you’ll need to build up the relationships to make sure that as many people show up as possible during your transport encounter so you can mass interrogate them for transport intel.

I wouldn't recommend it given the value of catarina from veiled orbs but taking an extra map or two out of your rotations to ensure gravicius is leveled up for the catarinas is most likely worthwhile.

it takes me like 4-5 maps without scarabs
insure that you're maintaining stars properly running the other encounters in maps
the relationships (rivals) from the transportation members to other syndicate members is very important if you've skipped this step

Question, if I get gravicius as 2nd guy follower, and let’s say vorici as leader in transportation, and the safe house is just 50%, can I choose interrogate gravicius and lose 1 rank? To help fill up the safe house progression? Because of the board is full, gravicius will be out in 1 turn yes? Hope you understand my question.😂

Cool guide, been playing ssf this league and working on syndicate for a change, do you think this will also be a good (or not bad) stratergy for getting a paridoxica? IE as you are running transportation multiple times it should eventually drop?
Paradoxica only drops on intervation safehouse ilvl 82+, so u need to farm intervention instead of transport
What was the expensive “unveiled item” ones?
I'm not sure what you're referring to but things like member specific veiled modifiers (left unveiled) can be quite expensive as people try to unlock modifiers to craft themselves.
You can dump tab generic veiled items as well like weapons, boots, ect and they will sell readily.

There are always 3 members outside of the syndicate at all times. To bring one of them in you need to choose a "remove from syndicate" option for another current member. Repeat until you get who you want in.

cant you find the better divination scarabs? I tried farming the t3 divination scarabs and it only dropped the lower scarabs :(
scarab tiers were removed so safehouse scarab rewards are random now. There is no weighting toward rarer scarabs. Dont bother trying to farm good scarabs in betrayal. Betrayal is dead content this league tbh
I think Gravicus can drop the good one but I'm not sure, I was getting all kind of rarity of scarabs these days from Syndicate

not guaranteed. Because scarab tiers were removed, rank 3 and 4 syndicate members are not guaranteed to drop rare scarabs. Its just random. You'll do it 10 times in a row and get no divination of curation. Its not worth running betrayal anymore except if you have a very fast powerful character that can farm Catarina in the minimum amount of maps possible and even then it might not be worth it because the Catarina fight is slow and terrible due to invulnerability phases
I did around 20 cats this league and got only 1 curation from him, but yeah, it can drop.
And if u are farming intervention, u will get some paradoxicas (i got 3)
I’ve been farming this in Cata and Intervention safehouses and it is extremely rare for non basic Div scarabs to spawn.
Only got 1 Curation and 0 Completions so far after 7 Catarinas with T4 Grav

This is what i have been doing. But ive been getting garbage T3 Gravicious loot. I have been trying to research if theres any weight difference between T3 and T4 but theres no concrete info. based on others data, it looks like T4 has better weighting. but because i only got garbage, i stoppped.
When I tested grav towards the end of crucible I saw no difference between t3/t4s in any of the card safehouses per attempt.

typically you want to use 2 stars over 3 stars if it's sufficient intelligence since you gain +2 stars with atlas notables

That being said Piracy and Plunder is probably worthwhile I was just doing a hc challenge early in the league and didn't want to risk it.

To bad they removed the white socket craft. I guess that was their quick fix to remove something that was traded via discord and all they could do this league 😆. I wonder if they don't like the white socket idea, given that they didn't reintroduce them via beast or harvest. Or if there was just no time left.
Now you can get the less common colour craft so you can get more green/red sockets on a Dialla's Malefaction

Frustrating video. Create rivals with who? Everyone else? The two you want to farm? Do you not rival certain people? How do you even get Gravicius to Transportation in the first place? Do you need him there before you setup these rivalries? This video is like someone opening a book in the middle and explaining the current situation.
I recently released an updated video that will clarify all of that just as you requested. The older method was just a haphazard simple method without much thought required or reading.

Take everything that isn't Intelligence Gathering and things that synergize well with fast mapping like altars or destructive play, shrines, strongboxes, ect.
