I was about five or six years old when I played this game in ‘99. I already understood one thing. I needed to beat this guy. Other than the redhead rival, I felt like I had to beat Blue. I wanted to put him in his place.

The cries sound different when you hear the low health sound, and Kadabra's cry in this situation just happens to sound similar to Gastly's.

His hair used to go both directions signifying that he has multiple ways and paths to go.
At the final battle it’s combed in only one direction meaning he’ll go that way and stamp out anyone to become the best

I'd prefer Lance as Indigo Plateau champion because Blue stole that title just to overshadow Red. Lance is well deserving of the Champion title because he has the appropriate behavior and clothes to prove it.

Blue and Geno are one and the same. You can give your rival whatever name you want as long as it's not more than 7 characters, though his official name is Blue.
