I agree! I have never heard of Sunday start (in the USA, where I live). The weekend here is Saturday and Sunday. If people have one day off per week, it is most often Sunday. And many stores still close.
Depending upon the type of work, you do in America you’re weak starts on a Sunday for a lot of people that’s the day they go back to work not everyone before a good amount of people so their brain considers Sunday the start of the week not Monday or Saturday in fact, I know a lot of people who go into work on Sunday, but they have Saturday off and Friday was their last day working And Sunday is the day that they go back into work so as far as their mind is concerned, their day starts on Sunday for the most part in America unless you live in like a tiny town is open and it’s business as usual places will still close very late at night and it’s just another day on the schedule for a lot of people not too much is closed besides like the banks
