I enjoy watching these videos so much! I am 59 yo and if I get the chance to move so I can get outside of the city I would be SO happy. Right now I live through JULIE, haha!
Great coupe, always wanted chickens. 👍💕
That was fun! ❤️🥰
Thank you 😊
Those chicks 🐥 are living the good life!! 😂
Awww I loved watching THANKS
What a wonderful man you have there Julie. Industrious and initiative. Lucky girl.
That is so cute ❤
Well that was fun! Glad you found the dehydrator you’ve been looking for. 👍
What a nice coop and video. You are such a delight!
That painting of wall picture was pretty !
Hi
Enjoyed ur video!
Thank you 😊
Your property is so pretty
Thank you ☺️
Baby chick's are so cute. That coop turned out great. Enjoyed the video.🤎💛🧡🤎💛🧡🤎💛🧡🤎💛🧡🤎💛🧡
Your hubby is a sweetheart!
We bought that stapler when we put our chicken coop and run together and it’s a game changer…. I can’t imagine doing it without it
"...Like fried.." If I didn't know better I'd think you were in Mississippi! So cute. A wonderful cleaning idea for small chicks.
Lucky little chicks 🙂
They’re spoiled lol
Julie saw a burlap sack that said family tradition when you where flipping was hoping you would see it you are going to be busy canning❤️👍
Awe man ! I missed it. And yes lots of canning!
Loved this video! What a great job you did with the chicken coop. I really enjoyed learning about it. Love the swing!!
Love the chicks! Your property looks amazing ! Maybe do a tour for us in a video.❤
Julie those baby chicks are just the CUTEST! I really liked the painting and the red quilt at the sale. Those tomoatoes are absolutely gorgeous! I've never had fried green tomatoes but I just love red ones. I have to disagree with Elizabeth, dill pickles are the best. Does Larry ever shut up, just yak yak yak throughout the video. LOL. Thanks for taking us along, love to you and yours and pet Piper for me.
Yes I'm like you I would later move the pen and get them a yard area to get out in. They will love it.
👍👍👍👍🍁🍁🍁🍁
Tomato chips are soooo good! So are pumpkin chips, carrots chips, squash chips, and beet chips!
I love the coop project! We don’t have many Farmers Markets where I am though!
Try making kale chips with your dehydrator. Just clean and cut the leafs to chip size, then season with a little soy sauce and additional spices to taste. Then dry until crispy.
I just love baby chicks ... we had them when we were kids. They were all different colors, purple, green, red, pink ... they don't do that anymore, inhuman I guess. They chased the neighbors when they were big. Watch chickens you might say! ... What a wonderful day shopping. Maybe you can show us your canning skills and dehydrate abilities. I have one I used a few times. It is similar to yours. God bless you and the family, hope Larry likes his new jeans.
Here in Maine the netting your using is just called chicken wire. lol!
Just as I finished this sentence you called it chicken wire. lol!
Your little girls are adorable. 🥚🐣🐥🥚🐣🐥🥚
Haha yes! We call it chicken wire too. I have no idea why I was saying poultry netting. Maybe because of the tag on it 😂
One of those Say Honduras My country
Watch the screen door needs chicken wire critters can get them
Yall stay really busy . But those chick's are so cute . When you have time to do things together you can get a lot done for sure . Our high today was 61% . But we will get up to 70 to 8o by the end of week . We're just having a cool front that started come in before the storm came through in our part of N.C. thank God we didn't get any structure damage or loose power where I'm at .
Kathy, yes, I stay super busy. And thank you 😊 I’m so glad y’all all are ok!
Jealous! Have wanted some chicks for a long time. Good job on the coop!
Thanks for taking us along through out your day.
Be careful for the opossum and raccoons getting to your chickens. They can eat through chicken wire. My husband put a electric wire around our chicken house.
Julie,
I just love your channel! You are so stinkin cute.
I liked that old metal basket on the top of the table. What is it and how can you use it for decor I have 2 and don't know what to do with them.
JULIE, REMEMBER THAT FUNNY LOOKING THING AT THE GOODWILL ,YOU ASKED WHAT IT WAS IT IS A APPLE PEELER.😄😂
Thanks Julie for another video!! Love ya lady.
Thank you 😊
Finally my husband bought those $9 jeans from Walmart for working in and I don't have to cry everytime we cut up for rags!😳🤣🤣🤣 and omg yes!!!! Freeze dryer!! Almost have him interested in but just bought the Samsung oven.... has dehydrator (6 rack space, only comes with 2) and air fryer settings $850 at lowes!!😍😍😍 Burlap bags!!! Pillow covers, Xmas tree skirts, table runner, GIFT for your bestie 😊🤣🤣🤣 You should look for a pick your own kind of place for the quantity of veggies you need... they use to set up on hwy 80 between Gladewater and white oak but don't know of any closer to you 😕
Omg that's genius!!🤩🤩🤩 you put the tarp down in the yard for the playpen area? It collects bugs underneath for them to eat?? Or are they too young? I want chickens sooo bad!! I'm going to put that in my notes!! We're in the middle of nowhere, Arizona, but they could never run loose here, too many predators...but I plan to turn my garden into play area during winter and maybe greenhouse but worried what destruction they could cause to watering system...
Hi Julie. We have electricity. Yay. Ac and a good night sleep. I cant wait. $6 for tomatoes? Wow!. So glad you got your dehydrater. Chicken coop looks great
Oh that’s so good Shannon!
We have electricity back also. God is good!
Love the chicks and their playpen! So fun ! I haven’t been to our Market for awhile but miss going ! I used to go every Wednesday and Saturdays with our son when he was little before he started going to school! What part of Texas are you in?
My girlfriend's daughter had a big red rooster that could come in the house without a problem and he won grand champion at the county fair several years in a row. She'd hold him and he'd just fall asleep in her arms! They finally told her he had to retire and give others a chance!
The chick playpen is too cute! Happy you found the food dehydrator!
Thank you 😊
Feed sacks make the cutest curtains and pillows.
Oh yes! Great idea! Thank you 😊
When I was a little girl we had. Little chicks and they were so much fun to watch. I enjoyed watching you and Larry work on the pen. Thank you for taking us alone.
God Bless and keep you all safe. Maxine Ok
Thank you ☺️
I'm from Boston and love seeing your life! Sooo different from how I grew up. I really enjoy your channel.
Thank you Nancy!
Farmers Market prices have gotten so high. Thankful as a photographer I trade my photography out with a farm for veggies. But this time of year you can pick your own and a 5 gallon bucket of tomatoes is $14. It more than fills a box to overflowing. I love dehydrated okra it gets kind of a sweet flavor. My babies are getting close to being moved to the coop with the big girls. We have extra heavy duty panels on ours to help with bears and mountain lions here. Thanks for taking us along.
The prices on everything 😩😩 I know. Oh how fun! Ours have a ways to go aren’t they so stinking cute.
Hi Julie I really enjoyed your busy day it was like going along. 🌻🐓🌻
Thank you 😊 I enjoy bringing y’all along 😁
I love how excited you are for your little chicks! I lost my last one a few months ago and really miss them. They have such fun personalities, they will follow you around like little puppies! Love your channel!
Fun video! Excited to see what you make with the dehydrator. Your chicken coop is adorable!
I loved this video. Those little chicks are so stinkin' cute. Their new home is so nice. I bet the kids love watching those little things. ❤
Remember snakes can get into that coop through the wire and eat the chicks
julie - we have that freeze dryer, and honestly.. doesn't get used much. Apples and pineapple are good. Berries - get totally bitter in my opinion. We have tried doing some cheese, some hot dish.. ehhh its ok. Not great. It was my husbands purchase. At this point, I don't think it was worth it. I have heard you can do powdered eggs though, which once we are out of teenagers, might make it worth it. :-)
I’m up in Iowa, how cold can it get down there in Texas?
Well, not too cold. Unless it’s a crazy winter.
Julie, would love to see your canning your veggies. Those baby chicks are sooooo cute. Thanks for taking us along.
💜💜💜
You guys are adorable!!
Thank you ☺️
Good morning, Julie! Beautiful DIY Chicken Coop! The sign your daughter gave you "Fresh Farm Egg" is adorable! Tell your husband he did a great job. Wow! $2.00 for the food preservation machine. I enjoyed you taking me to the Farmer Market, eating, Lowes and your back yard. 100F Wow that Hot! In Pennsylvania 45F at 9:31am. Day 51F Night 50F. Wishing you a lovely Tuesday. Happy October. Happy Autumn. 🍁🍂🍁🍂
That is a cute chicken coupe. Baby chicks are always adorable! That was a great price on those tomatoes!! Now you are all set to do all types of canning!! Great video.
hey julie love chickens I had chickens growing up had to get the eggs everyday worked in the garden after school loved it. good living love your videos makes me home sick God bless you and your family
We love them too! And thank you 😊
Hi Julie! I'm with Elizabeth, I love sweet pickles! And I love love LOVE fried green tomatoes. I even found a recipe where you can bake them instead of fry them. It looks like one of the chicks are sprouting big hen(or rooster) feathers already. I really look forward to these videos about your family, home and shopping. Let's just say I live vicariously through you. See ya in the next video!😊
Does anyone call baby chicks "diddles". I grew up calling them "diddles" in the Appalachian mountains of Southwest VA coal country.
We love you Larry but a thrifter gotta thrift also gorgeous produce🌞
Lol yes! I try to tell him 😂
I love your new/old pen and your baby chicks are darling! God bless!
Sweet 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐣🐣🐣🐣 ❤
Aren’t they the cutest?!
Excited to see how your dehydrator works! Such cute babies! Do you have any problems with snakes getting the chicks?
He’s a big talker, I see. Opposites attract.
