what a beautiful location to draw 🥰
Bob Ross would have killed it on Patreon
Gorgeous work of art! You’re so talented that you make this look very easy. Thanks for sharing your process.
I like very much the way in which you use the dots to map out the objects - very clever , but I’m sure it’s not as easy as you make it look.
Absolutely love your sketches and teaching, thank you!
Very easy to follow along with. Thank you.
I love your drawing skills and simple palette of warm and cool colors. I always learn something from you even though I'm a retired graphic artist/illustrator. Thank you and God Bless!
Thank you so much!
Excellent
I’ve just discovered your channel and can’t stop watching every video🤩 great content, greetings from Uruguay

Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful .I love it.
That was great, Scottie.
I love how it starts with a simple dot, then add a simple line, then add a simple shape, and before you know it you're halfway there.
That's the trick! 😊
Thank you for the new video!
You're welcome!
Wawww so so beautiful! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Good
Hi Scott! Beautiful tutorial, as always! Can I have one suggestion? Please make your vieos a bit longer, 5 minutes is too short.. Thanks so much as always!
thanks for the suggestion!
❤❤❤❤
😍
@SketchingScottie Thanks for sharing ! rather than adding details evenly from left to right, do you think it is better to go from right (more - closer to you) to left (less - farther than you) ? Also I notice you are brave to use the Uniball pen on a rough surface (may be cold press paper) where the tip makes a rough contact. Can you please share a video on a hot press some day ? and a plein air may be in warmer whether in Australia ... ?
I generally find it easier to go left to right so I don't cover the sketch with my hand as I sketch and see my progress but it really depends on the context of what you're sketching. I've tried hot press before but didn't enjoy it so I stay with the cold press 👍🏼
Hey @Sketching Scottie just wondering, what’s the CAD program you use for the silhouette images? That’s SO helpful
I use procreate to trace the images for different steps
Hey @sketchingscottie, just wondering why your patreon is in euro instead of aud? Also, I know 8 euro doesn’t seem much with is invariably $13-15 aud pcm but to me that expensive when you compare to prime, Netflix etc. just a thought. ESP for us pensioners. But - I love your work. Thank you 😊
BTW - what’s your palette? And favourite brushes?
Patreon should change the currency depending where you are so I'm not sure why it's in Euros for you. Try going to the very bottom left corner of the website and changing the currency there. It would be about $13-$14 Aud. For palette, check out my website for material list www.sketchingscottie.com
Unrealistic, the hordes of tourists are missing 😅
Jk, it's a really beautiful sketch!
😂 yes I'm sure they are there somewhere!
Really lovely ❤ What kind of paper is this?
Thanks! Baohong 300gsm cotton paper. I have links in the description.
