hunt this Jerboa Many time he's very fast hard to catch The first time I catch himEight years ago, with a sense of pleasure, I do not kill him, only the day I caught him, I show him my family, and then release him
And I Hunt this fox we called him hasni not Finnic fox his name and this in Arab countries You keeping steel for us Our animals and our resources And invade our country and call us terrorists, how dare you? for protecting our land
Scenes like these are obviously staged, and they're quite open about it too - there are videos out there showing the stage setups. That doesn't necessary make these footages fake - they're wild animals after all, throw them in a familiar environment and they will act naturally.
Somehow this video reflects how my life went as a creative and smart dyslexic, it felt and feels like im chased and all i could do is to outmaneuver. "the jerboas only hope is to outmaneuver" i just started to cry like a child. Amazing video by the way!
or they could just be the pacific jumping mice or kangaroo rats, which are native in oregon where coraline was confirmed to take place at. and they do kind of resemble them.
I'd be willing to bet it's rotorscoping. Captive animals in some sort of sand pen filmed at different times and overlaying the images. All the rest of the footage is single-animal.
I saw a jerboa last week. It was slowly hopping left and right at first. I thought they can't run fast and tried to go near it. Suddenly it started to jump away. It was incredibly fast. It disappeared from sight in three or four seconds. Then I searched it on Google as "mouse like rabbit" and found out it was a jerboa.
The Jerboa is probably the most alien creature I've ever seen. Yes there are Platypuses, Mantis shrimp, and whatever lives in the depths of the ocean. But the jerboa... It's like it belongs from another version of earth... Its odd proportions, long legs and possibly the shortest arms of any mammal. The other animals, they have features that are common among other animals in their environment. But I've seen no rodent like the jerboa. It's just so weird
These BBC earth men and women are so talented they make animals look like paid actors, ceaselessly amazed at their ability to always capture the best shots!
entre un zorrito con enormes orejas y el ratoncito saltarin ni a cual irle, estan muy chulos los dos, y tienen unos bigotes bellisimos, adorables tanto el fennec como el jerbo.
We may never get the answer to how they filmed this amazing piece. I always wonder how BBC gets such amazing footage, but I never wonder why it's my favorite place to see documentaries.
Saw my only desert fox ever when I was working in Baghdad in 2008 after the war...... It did not stay long in the headlights as we were driving toward it.
The Jerboa looks like an adorable little alien.
Like maybe on Bajor! The Narrator IS JULIAN BASHIR after All!
No it does not, they're literally U G L Y
🤣🤣

How in the world do you get footage like that. Amazing.
Just wanted to type the same thing. Don't know how they do it but it's quality work. Hats off
Kiyo with a camera

Helmstif, the Sarcastic Asianman ah okay, still impressive though!
How on earth do they film this.....
lazyguy348
in Saudi arabia
تراه يقول كيف يصورونها مب وين يصورونها
+شزن لافي fenec foxes in lebia
Many of them live in the algerian desert And a few of them live in lebia or Saudi arabia
+WsW 47 alot not few
When you dont want the prey to die but you also dont want the hunter to die from hunger
Absolutely!
yeah.. nature is unfair like that
don’t care jerboas are immoral
Maybe there can be a compromise? The Jerboa could offer an arm or a leg to the Fox. The former gets to live, and the latter doesn't have to go hungry.
Amazing footage. Watched it over and over again. How delicate and nimble are these animals. How pristine is the desert. How short is there lives. Wow!
That;s not a Jerboa, that's a Pokemon.
Hahahaha!
PancakeMix You're a pokemon
PancakeMix LOL
Kangaskhan pre-evolution confirmed
screenshot looks like mew
amazing footage
P3696 💯
It's staged
Small, with hairy feet. So basically it's a hobbit.
Small, hairy feet, lives in a hole, very capable of going unseen. Where was this filmed, the Farthings?
That desert fox is the ring wraith.
We can name the Jerboa Frodo
Hoppit*
um hobbits look nothing like this...
their both so cute! i can't pick sides!
Emily Mast *they're
Go with the fennec. They are cuter. And more cuddley
Harry PAnnU ! No, just no.
Always pick the predators. They struggle the most. It’s just more difficult to choose when the predator becomes prey.
Madilyn Mast Nor should you. They both need to eat to survive. And they both need to survive to eat.

dawg
OMG. The jumper mice from Coraline.
They exist.
Omg you're right 😂
Where do you think they came from?
If you read the book you'll remember Coraline loves to watch nature channels on television
or they could just be the pacific jumping mice or kangaroo rats, which are native in oregon where coraline was confirmed to take place at. and they do kind of resemble them.
+iJumpingMice I saw your channel.
So nice.
+Ray Denner lol, thanks.
I felt bad for laughing when it tripped on the branch..
When it tripped I felt bad
Trey Peters how is that edgy?
I was screaming "Noooo!"
I've always wondered how they get all these angles without setting it up.
They don't.
I'd be willing to bet it's rotorscoping. Captive animals in some sort of sand pen filmed at different times and overlaying the images. All the rest of the footage is single-animal.
For sure it's a soundstage.
theres a few documentaries where they show the filming of it, and basically they just put small cameras EVERYWHERE.
Yeah the fox wasn't even looking at the Jerboa at any point, I had to wonder if they were filmed separately and then mashed together.
How could they capture this so perfectly? Was it staged?
Jeong-hun Sin almost
Jeong-hun Sin that fox is a movie star
Yeah, scripts are so obvious these days. And the acting is terrible.
"was it staged"
its a set that they used look at the lighting

Do you live in the United states? If so, it was a kangaroo rat, and not a Jerboa.
"What do you call the mouse shadow on the second moon."
Stilgar - "We call that one, Muad'Dib."
John 3:16-21
How in the hell do you capture a scene like this, the patience, time and observation must be excruciating.
Run jerboa run
خالد الخالدي حتى البي بي سي يقولون جربوع خخخخخ
u can run but you cant hide
Imagine if our meals ran from us every day? People would be in better shape!
@@marouu_x yes it will.
we were once

It has arms??
Jerboas are the real Maud'Dib mice from Dune.
Lisan Al Giab!
im so glad the jerboa survived
Poor fox they are both so cute
What a captivating footage ♥
Omg the jerboa did the classic horror "run from your killer then trip over a branch" move. The difference was that it didn't get caught.
Fox is such a amazing Hunter
Desert fox: I hate fast food.
Hahaha
"The Jerboe is quick, but Fox is quicker. And he got the last trick in his pocket... Hairy feet." Brilliant.
These BBC earth men and women are so talented they make animals look like paid actors, ceaselessly amazed at their ability to always capture the best shots!
"The desert fox has twenty times more sensitive ears"
That doesn't sound right
*Changes mouse sensitivity*
2:05 "better to go under"
the best moment
god the cinematography in this is just gorgeous, could not get over how good the lighting in this was!
First time I saw Jerboa it’s so amazing 😮😊
I didn't even know what a Jerboa was until just now
It's an Arabic name (الجربوع، اليربوع)
I learned about the Jerboa from ARK. But, those Jerboas looked more like kangaroo foxes.
Mostly live in the Moroccan Sahara 🦊🇲🇦❤️
entre un zorrito con enormes orejas y el ratoncito saltarin ni a cual irle, estan muy chulos los dos, y tienen unos bigotes bellisimos, adorables tanto el fennec como el jerbo.
Such an interesting creature.
Penguins of Madagascar's early scenes were surely taken by BBC EARTH'S team.😂😂😂😂
These videos are amazing
Oi
I love these short informative clips :)
I really like the narrator in this story! Very clear, timed perfectly - would love to hear him more often in future!
All you have to do is google "Alexander Siddig" to see what MY SWEETIE is doing next!
Those are animals of my country...the fennec fox is so cuddly and tender
I live in California and we have jerobas here. We call them kangaroo rats. In fact, never heard of them called jerobas till this video.
VanillaEngineer
Yeah we called jerobas we have a lot of them 😊
It's Arabic name for this animal
First time I have ever seen one. Cute and adorable.
In Arabic we call it jarbo
I remember watching them, and looking at their tracks, in the desert outside Las Vegas, Nevada (U.S.A.)
😍 Omg both are so cute!!!!
To a Sonic Fan, that's Fang the Sniper's True Species.
We may never get the answer to how they filmed this amazing piece. I always wonder how BBC gets such amazing footage, but I never wonder why it's my favorite place to see documentaries.
Dessert: "This wild world is too small for two cuties!"
Jerboa: "Hold my beer."
Muad’dib
I LOVE JERBOASSSSSSSSSSSS
I'm in love with the narrator-Have been since 1993 when he first played Dr. JULIAN BASHIR!
That jerboa, so cute
That was one intense Pokemon battle! Mew vs Fennikin!
This had me on pins and needles. I was wondering, "Will the prey get away?"
I guess the fox wouldn’t even try to catch a better jerboa.
I was waiting when fox grabs it but video makers are smart enough...
Doob
Doob doob
Dooby Doober
It Dooby like that
Bad Anny hunting dooby
Yall making this pop up for no reason... i love it xD
It seems that the jerboa in ark is a combination of the real jerboa and the desert fox aka the fennec fox
Fennec is one of many names for foxes in Arabic. You're saying fox fox.
@Crines Caridies that's not a fennec fox it's a Ruppell's fox.
@Crines Caridies he says it's a Ruppell at 0:31 that and it looks too big to be a fennec.
Lisan al Gaib!
Muad'dib!
I wonder if they're legal to own as a pet in the United States I would definitely get one they are adorable
im sorry but this jerboa is funny
Good job jerboa!
Love how the fox starts licking his lips thinking about the tasty jerboa.
This channel teaches me more than my learning in my school..
Desert fox : 0 Jerboa : 1
Who else was rooting for the desert jerboa
Awesome ... the cameraman did a amazing work !!
Makes me so happy when the cute little animal survives
the music at the background is amazing
Saw my only desert fox ever when I was working in Baghdad in 2008 after the war...... It did not stay long in the headlights as we were driving toward it.
"The Jerboa can jump 10 times its own bodyweight"
That's the most typical nature documentary thing I've ever heard
I heard "body length"
damn both are cute
Yes, it was an "aww so cute!" the whole time. LOL A cute hunter and a cute prey.
Excellent piece of video.
YES JERBOA YES ABSOLUTE SKINNY LEGEND!! AN ICON!11!!111!!
I can't take the desert fox hunting jerboa seriously...they are so god damn cute.
The jerboa looks like a tiny furry T rex
okay wow! this was absolutely fantastic. thankyou for this. it almost didnt seem real.
i just wonder how did they shoot it...lovely!!
Those animals looks like Pokemon.. so cute
I was the only one waiting for jerboa to survive and my chest was throbbing😢
Muad’Dib
This almost feels like a commentary on the battles in northern Africa in WWII.
Just two sandy boys being cute while trying to survive.
This world is too cruel to the cuties!
This jerboa is very clever and this photography is very professional
It's like a action movie on its own.Incredible.
this footage is absolutely amazing !
That frog is fast
