In La Jota Paragua one can clearly see the heavy Castillian influence in this Filipino Jota version- the ruffled dresses and the mantons. Such a very beautiful dance indeed.¡¡Arriba a todos los Filipinos!!!
Isn't it a dance from Palawan? It looks so Hispanic indeed. I thought a dance like this would've originated in Manila or something.
@@TeaDrinker-eq3md it is from Palawan but it is very Flamenco influenced. Paragua means umbrella in Spanish

Looks more Spanish than a lot of Latin American dances, woah
