I dont know whats going on but by just hearing him speak in a hopeful and practical way makes the chains of my thinking fall and I've listened to different sermons and secular marriage counseling people and none have made me feel like this. Just hearing about the hope that I can actually have something profound with my wife makes me feel that I love her so much.
I'm single (as of 2018) and I'm watching this to mentally prepare myself for marriage.

Me too. I'm single and have read 10's of 100's of books and videos on marriage for the past 40 years, but still remain open and hopeful.
These videos can help any marriage but God has to be heard through them. Amen.
Pastor Jimmy Evans is fun in his teachings and God definitely teaches through him.. One of my all time fav pastors..
I thank God for Pastor Evans marital teachings. 3 years and I'm still tuned in to this God sent beautiful and inspiring ministry.
In the 17 years of marriage to my handsome husband... we've faced off to our challenges in a season of tough chronic times but we've had profoundly more BETTER years than bad... because we prayed through it and kept God 1st!! Still today we're more in love with each other than our 1st date. What ever question or concerns I have had in understanding both our roles... Pastor Evans has a video on that topic to listen, submit and learn from. God shall continue to bless this ordained and inspiring ministry.

At the marriage counselor's suggestion, the wife and I both read "The Five Love Languages."
When the marriage counselor asked my wife, "Barbara, what is YOUR love language?"
Her response?
" I don't HAVE one"
Every person have lots of personality in one body but they are good sweet baby! Acceptance accept them and love them! Free themselves and support them! Don't change them! The more you accept love support! They become happy and they know already what to do. Let them be themselves happy while guiding them!

I know guys who would rather be "mothered." and they'd also rather be "domestically centered."I know guys who want me to dress them up like French maids and tell them to do all my housework! Then mothering him or bossing him is simply his idea or his type of need for romance.
Plus, the men you are describing are definitely outside the mainstream mentality. This pastor is speaking to mainstream Christianity.
