This is undoubtedly the most informative single park overview I've seen on RUclips. Thanks for sharing your obviously extensive experience in this fine gem among our many spectacular western parks.
I was about 12 the first time I went through the park. My sister has lived here her whole life and we were visiting. I decided that I was going to move here someday. I'm 38 now, and moved here a little over a month ago. Montana (I prefer northwest) is by far one of the most beautiful places to live. Never gave up on that dream.
You will see it one day. If it interests you now....it will continue too interest you. Little secret...it wil still be here. Maybe not the glacier's as they are melting more each year. But... plenty of amazing sights to see. It's my backyard and the area has been my home for 25 years. I came for a vacation and....never left! Truth! I never went back to Tucson. I stayed and started over. All because the area calls to me. It may do the same for you. Turn your dreams into reality. It's easy! You just have to put one foot in front of the other 👣👣👣👣....and go! Cheers from Montana! Home!
That’s the right attitude, and you can do it! I’m 28 and taking myself there for my birthday. That’s one of the perks of growing up and doing things for yourself. Stay in school, and work to develop skills that will help you throughout your life.
I live here, and would just like to say that Two Medicine is easily the best area in the park. Not too crowded, equal views, and some of the best hiking.

Excellent presentation. My last trip to glacier I stayed for 30 days and bears almost everyday. Many near iceberg lake and many glaciers. Two medicine was my 2nd favorite area. There were many smaller animals and very few people. The food. On the west side, it's civilization. On the east side, not so much. The best photos any valley looking west at sundown. St Mary's lake area especially. The colors bounce off of the lake. That's enough from me. Again, this is one of the best glacier presentations I've seen.

GlacierNP is also one of our favorite NPs. Visited back in 2002-2004 before the advent of selfies and wasn’t crowded yet. Love the views on Going-to-the-Sun Rd, Logan Pass, St Mary Lake, even the long and arduous hike to Scenic Point, etc, even cross border via Waterton Intl Peace Park. I’m missing those road trips and camping days. Pining to return if it weren’t crowded.
Appreciate your time and work in putting these together. Since I have stopped working full time four years ago, I have been out west numerous times in Utah, Arizona, and California. I love it. I always give your videos a peek before I leave on a trip. My son and I will be in Glacier for a week at the end of August. Hoping for some good days. Thanks.

thanks. my 2hr video on the park has lots more info. fyi- i was there 2 weeks ago and the you really need to understand the sun road reservation system if u are staying outside the park. see the park website. i’m updating the “what to know …”video as time permits
I am thinking, three nights, two days will not be enough for this beautiful area. We added it to our itinerary at the last minute. We will make the best of it. Maybe we can come back and spend more time here. Enjoyed your video.
Thanks for sharing this great info. We just got back from a week at Glacier. It is very beautiful. The hikes are wonderful and we did many of your suggestions. There are lots of crowds and parking is tough to find because the shuttles are not running this year. The east side is closed because it is on Blackfeet Indian Reservation. You can only go as far as Rising Sun before you have to turn around. Many of the rangers said that due to no shuttles and the closing of the east side, people are congested in the west side of the park. Bring a mask because they are required in the visitor centers. They are not required on the trail but some people were wearing them. Pack your bags, masks and patience and go see this beautiful park. It is hard to describe how beautiful it is. The hiking is outstanding and definitely worth the blisters and scrapes! Planning to go back in 2021.
Fantastic video! I worked in GNP for a few summers back in the 80s, when you could actually walk with a ranger on Grinnell Glacier. I was a singing waitron in the Ptarmigan Room one year. My most recent visit was in 2017, enroute to view the eclipse in Wyoming. Could not believe the crowds!! Ah well. I hope to go again in the not too distant future.
What a great video, I'm on a 6 month project and am planning a vacation to Montana to make another item off the bucket list when I'm done thanks for the info...
All the major National Parks are over loved these days.- Zion has 4 hour waits- The new Reservation system at glacier should reduce the crowd problem-- if you can get in.
this was incredibly comprehensive and helpful! I am planning my first trip to glacier (and out West) next summer. I can't wait. thank you, thank you, thank you!
I'm a first time viewer of your content and interested in going to Glacier National Park from here in Florida. Your video I just watched was very helpful and so well done. I look forward to watching more, but I wanted to thank you for your time and effort in creating such great content.
Make your you get a reservation ticket for the Sun Road!! Check the park's web site. Also you may be interested in my 74 min "50+ hikes in Glacier" video or or my 90+ min "Glacier: The Hiker's National Park" if you've never been there
My longer videos show the best trails in great detail. My 50 Best Hikes video is also great for first timers- feel free to skip around. You need to watch the whole thing.
Thanks! Please check to the park’s website to see if there are changes. For example, reservation tickets for the Sun road are only good for 3 days this year NOT 7. Also, I’ll be in the park in mid June and will update this video shortly after.
Great overview of the park! I will check out your other Glacier videos. I usually take a lot more time to plan for a National Park trip but the family just decided we are going to try and plan a trip for this August 2021 so I have lots of studying and planning to do!
Thanks, they will help you prep. FYI ruclips.net/video/X3BXQuYCku4/видео.html This is a link to my Updated Sun Road video shot last Oct. It's twice as long (more info) as the Sun Road video in the 93 min video.
Just got back from two days on a whim after being whoa fully uninspired by Yellowstone for the second trip. It was quite a bit of a drive, but worth it. Worst of the park was people. I feel cheated after watching your video. Wish I had more time. Tumultuous trip to return. Hopefully I’ll get back. The water, especially the rivers, is so enticing....
Thank you for this awesome video. We are going to GNP for our second time this June-July for 5 days. Last time we hiked the iceberg lake trail and loved it. We are in our mid to late 60s now and hope to try some of the easy to mild trails. This time we are staying in the new Clear Sky Domes and they look awesome. Thanks again for the information. BTW, we hope Canada will open up and let USA folks in. Wish to visit the Prince Of Wales area.
Lovely informative video. Going there in a few days with Road Scholar and just wanted an overview of what to expect. This video has a lot of information. Thanks so very much.
@@TheWestisBig Awesome video! I wish I viewed this video earlier before I made our trip plan (5 days). Thanks for the tip " make sure you get your Sun Road reservation and maybe hiker shuttle reservation."
My family is leaving tomorrow to go to Glacier, very excited!!! We’re from West Virginia and we went to Grand Tetons and currently in Yellowstone, but next is Glacier park!!
I hope you watched my update to this video. The east side of Glacier is still closed! Including all east side lodges. Not opening until july1 at the earliest. The Sun Road isn’t open either. Still plowing snow. Maybe by the time you get there it’ll be open but no opening date has been set. We would love to hear back from you as your trip progresses to inform others.

Thank you, I really learned a lot watching this video about Glacier National Park! We are headed there next year mid May and I hope the lodges and hotels are open at that time.
Well done Steve. 1977 Fall I was hiking in Glacier Park on Sperry Chelate. I was with some friends and I did not know where I was. We climbed over a mountain and walk across a glacier that was thousands feet of steep slope of ice down the mountain. It was spectacular. Can you guess what is the name of that glacier I was on?
Watch my 74ish minute "50+ Hikes in Glacier" and / or "Glacier: the Hiker's National Park for even more info. Feel free to skip around as they are long
Nice video! I am fortunate to have visited Waterton and Glacier four times and feel blessed to have, for the most part, avoided the mass crowds. You are so right about starting early and watching out for bears! Folks ahead of us ran into a couple of Grizzlies at Hidden lake. The little spur trail of the highline trail, about a mile before granite chalet was a fav! Puts one on the continental divide with the four or five lakes in view on the backside was worth going to. Crypt lake hike with boat ride across waterton lake with view of prince Edward hotel (?) and no boundary patrol on the back side as, I believe, one enters the US from Canada around Crypt lake Thank you for a relapse on some great hikes
I am planning a trip to GNP for late summer 2021. I am trying to get as informed as possible as I have never been there or anywhere similar. I have watched multiple videos and I have found this to be the most informative and well made. I intend to watch again and take some notes :)
Thanks very much for making this video, very helpful and great content! I am currently planning our next US trip and Glacier National Park is top of the list. Again, thanks and safe travels.
Glad it helped- but watch my longer Glacier videos for more info- At least watch the first few minutes of my latest - its 2 hours long but at the beginning it tells you about the NEW need for a reservation for the Sun Road.
Wow - as someone who’s planning a trip to Glacier next month, this was sooo informative! I’m going to check out the other Glacier videos now, but thanks a ton for your time and attention to detail on this!
Thanks! Its nice to here the work is appreciated. fyi- my 93 min GNP is really good too! fyi- my update to my shrinking glaciers video is in script writing stage - itll be out soon.
Steven Wyatt I hope you have a blast! Glacier is my fav! Going to Yosemite in June but will be back in Glacier in August. My daughter goes to college at MSU in Bozeman so it’s a given. Love Montana!
Thank you, I am getting Cabin Fever, so planning to on a big road trip soon. I am getting tears watching this because of beauty of this park. I drove to Alaska and back from So. Cal. 3 years ago, last year I hike up to Mt. Everest Basecamp on my 72nd birthday, it is time for to explore this magical places we were gifted once again. This will help me guide to my hikes that I am planning to do.
This is a great video! We are planning our trip for July 2022. Already have our reservations! Now looking at gear and itinerary. Thank you for this info!
Do not hike without bear spray. We met an adolescent grizzly on the trail as we were returning from Hidden Lake. He was moving at an unbelievably fast clip without any effort. He came around the corner above us and we surprised each other. We yelled and I banged my walking sticks in the air and he wanted nothing to do with us. He immediately veered away from us. It was spectacular and a best-case scenario. We had bear spray ready but did not need to use it. Unfortunately, the trail was closed shortly after we began our hike because other hikers reported seeing the bear earlier at the lookout. We were the last hikers off the trail that day. A week later we saw a video of people running by the lake on that very trail because onlookers we're yelling, "BEAR!" Don't run! Make noise and be bear aware. Remember too, a fed bear is a dead bear so do not feed the wildlife! Respect and admire the wildlife from a distance. We wanted to hike the Avalanche Lake trail but it was closed for nearly two weeks thanks to some morons who left their backpack full of food on the trail, thus causing a bear to associate humans and backpacks with food. According to the rangers, the hikers didn't have bear spray and set their backpacks down, leaving them unattended. I'm not sure if that bear was relocated or euthanized. Either way, it was unfortunate for the bear and any hikers on a limited vacation who were unable to make that beautiful hike due to people not knowing what they were doing and hiking without bear spray. Be a conscientious hiker, be smart, and be prepared.
Great video here! We can tell it took a lot of work. Great editing, information and thoroughness. You did a great job here. Loved every second of it. Keep it up. We're excited for our trip soon!
Thanks. If you don’t know about the need for a reservation ticket to drive the Sun Road- watch my video about it. It’s important. Btw- I wish I had reservations for this year- they are book up
I am flying out this morning first trip to the park, love your video, although I only have five days it's just to introduce myself to it. I will plan a ten day trip in 2021 to really explore. Also heading to Yellowstone as well for a few more days. I usually go alone but this trip my girl is going....so hopefully she falls in love with being outdoors and hiking etc as I am..this is a substitute trip, I was supposed to climb Kilimanjaro and hike the highlands in Scotland but covid cancelled those. Will let you know how it goes...being from Connecticut, the northwest is such a beautiful change of scenery and my retirement target.
That’s great! I hope u saw my COVID update. The east side of the park is closed! 5 days should be about right. They closed the entrance yesterday due to over crowding hope it gets less so as I’m heading there in a couple of weeks. The view from the web cams makes it look like forest fire smoke has blown in from somewhere. Hope the wind changes directions.
Fantastic video. I'm from Glasgow, Scotland, visited Glacier on a day trip many years ago, but plan to go for a few days in September this year ( if we're allowed !)🇺🇸🏴

Thanks. i’m going to be there the 12-18 but i don’t have a ticket to get on the sun road- last minute side trip from WA wedding. the park is tricky these days
Glacier is primarily a hikers park. The roads and parking were overcrowded when we were there. Much of the overlook parking was occupied by day hikers. The cabin we rented was only half of a cabin created by dividing the original cabin. We did enjoy our meal at Many Glacier Lodge. If you like hiking and tent camping visit Glacier. If you can or do not hike visit Yellowstone. He'll, visit Yellowstone any way.
Very useful information, I am planning a trip next summer. Just one thing, it will be nice if you put the distance of every trail you mention it . Thank you!! 👍

@@TheWestisBig Thank you so much! I did watch your Covid update, which was very informative, but now would like to watch the video about the hiking, at least on the west side. I wish the shuttles and the boat tours were running, as well. Thanks again and happy trails!

Planning to go back in 2021.
thanks.
Thanks. Yep the park is being loved to death
What a great video, I'm on a 6 month project and am planning a vacation to Montana to make another item off the bucket list when I'm done thanks for the info...
thanks 😊
Thanks, I like this video. It reminds me of when I was a kid watching travel shows.
Thanks! I like to say my travel videos are about the place not me. Which is different than most youtubers
This is so helpful! If things work out Covid-wise, I’m heading to Glacier in mid-July. Fingers crossed!!
sameee
How'd it go? Were you still able to go to many glaciers? I'm planning to go mid August amidst the pandemic but I heard many trails were closed
Me too
Wonderful video I'm definitely going to watch you're longer videos. Hopefully i see it in person one day
Thanks. I'm sure hope you like them.
Thank you for the heads-up. Thanks for letting us know of the over crowded park. Great video..
All the major National Parks are over loved these days.- Zion has 4 hour waits- The new Reservation system at glacier should reduce the crowd problem-- if you can get in.
this was incredibly comprehensive and helpful! I am planning my first trip to glacier (and out West) next summer. I can't wait. thank you, thank you, thank you!
thanks. fyi- my channel has a few other useful Glacier videos and many more on other places in the west
I'm a first time viewer of your content and interested in going to Glacier National Park from here in Florida. Your video I just watched was very helpful and so well done. I look forward to watching more, but I wanted to thank you for your time and effort in creating such great content.
Thank for taking the time to write the kind words.
Going in early june to miss the crowds.. live near the beach in so calif so should be glorious up there ! happy to see this video
Make your you get a reservation ticket for the Sun Road!! Check the park's web site. Also you may be interested in my 74 min "50+ hikes in Glacier" video or or my 90+ min "Glacier: The Hiker's National Park" if you've never been there
Thanks for short, but concise planning tips and top hikes. There is so many choices of trails and we are only going to be there for one week.
My longer videos show the best trails in great detail. My 50 Best Hikes video is also great for first timers- feel free to skip around. You need to watch the whole thing.
Planning to go August of 2021! I’ve been wanting to go since I was 13. I’m 27 now and I say it’s time to add this to my list of getting done ✅
Kiwi Parade I’m only 12 and I’m saving this to my “When I’m older enough” playlist . Been wanting to go here for a while
Also 27 here, going for the first time in May 2021 and absolutely can’t wait! Hope you have a great time!
Same, I’m 27 and have the same goal
Truly informative, thank you for editing this together!
Thanks! Please check to the park’s website to see if there are changes. For example, reservation tickets for the Sun road are only good for 3 days this year NOT 7. Also, I’ll be in the park in mid June and will update this video shortly after.
Thanks for this posting. I will use this as our guide during our trip to the place this summer. Surely, this will be a big help!
Thanks, and be sure to check out my 93 min and my hour long other Guides on my channel
Great overview of the park! I will check out your other Glacier videos. I usually take a lot more time to plan for a National Park trip but the family just decided we are going to try and plan a trip for this August 2021 so I have lots of studying and planning to do!
Thanks, they will help you prep. FYI
ruclips.net/video/X3BXQuYCku4/видео.html This is a link to my Updated Sun Road video shot last Oct. It's twice as long (more info) as the Sun Road video in the 93 min video.
I've visited the park once before. Your video is fantastic guide for my upcoming trip! Keep it up
Hope to be able to see a lot of these beautiful spots in the park soon! Wonderful video! Thx for the information!
you’re welcome. fyi- i made 2 more longer form guides on the park too that are worth scanning
Thanks for this video. This is by far the most informative video I've seen on Glacier without all the fluff!
Thanks! Btw- if you’re going this year please no that things are changing fast even the park’s website is not quite up to date. call ahead!!
Thanks. Check out my 90 min Glacier NP video travel guide for lots more info on my favorite park.
Glad it was helpful!
Lovely informative video. Going there in a few days with Road Scholar and just wanted an overview of what to expect. This video has a lot of information. Thanks so very much.
Glad it was helpful!
This is one of the place I really want to see hence ill be going next month. Thank you for all the tidbits, it was very helpful.
thanks
Great video, thanks! We are going for 10 days in September 2021 with 2 kids and can't wait to see the stars and hike.
Lucky!! make sure you get your Sun Road reservation and maybe hiker shuttle reservation.
You have reason! This is amazing...! Apreciate the night this place is really special! IWe did it many times when we could be in family togheter iin vacation, traveling to Montain region here in my country! We had great moments to enjoy this! Very nice!
I admire your knowledge about this region, how many great experiences you lived there! Nice rewiew! Heloísa
thanks. I hope to be there next month
😍👏🙂I am happy for you! You live there a great personal and professional experience! I wish you can do it safer and happy! I will wait the news! Have nice days and a good job! HELÔ
Thank you for this. I couldn't figure out how to park was divided. This helps in planning several smaller trips.
Thank you, I really learned a lot watching this video about Glacier National Park! We are headed there next year mid May and I hope the lodges and hotels are open at that time.
Most in-park lodging will not be open that early in the season. Check park website to book lodging.
Well done Steve. 1977 Fall I was hiking in Glacier Park on Sperry Chelate. I was with some friends and I did not know where I was. We climbed over a mountain and walk across a glacier that was thousands feet of steep slope of ice down the mountain. It was spectacular. Can you guess what is the name of that glacier I was on?
if you have any nice pics I'd like to include them in the next iteration of this video
Great video the added information of trails with difficulty and time they take to travel is lacking in a lot of other videos.
Crypt lake hike with boat ride across waterton lake with view of prince Edward hotel (?) and no boundary patrol on the back side as, I believe, one enters the US from Canada around Crypt lake
Thank you for a relapse on some great hikes
I am planning a trip to GNP for late summer 2021. I am trying to get as informed as possible as I have never been there or anywhere similar. I have watched multiple videos and I have found this to be the most informative and well made. I intend to watch again and take some notes :)
thanks. before u go you should watch my 92 min glacier np hiker video and my 50 best hikes in glacier video. they’re on my channel
I just finished watching the 92 min Documentary. Great watch!
thanks
So beautiful Glacier National Park !
Great video! We are planning our trip for July 2021 , can’t wait! I’m so glad I have your informative videos to watch!
FYI- I'm finishing an update to my Sun Road video this week
Very well put together video. Thank you. Going at the end of July and plan to camp in the park. Looking forward to being outdoors
thanks!
Make sure to watch the one about the new entry reservation ticket. You may need one to get in the park
@@TheWestisBig will do!! Thank you again for your time and effort on this - it’s much appreciated! :)
I just discovered this video today, 3/12/2020. Greatly informative, and very well professionally done. Thank you so much. I loved it!
Thanks! Its nice to here the work is appreciated. fyi- my 93 min GNP is really good too! fyi- my update to my shrinking glaciers video is in script writing stage - itll be out soon.
Great video, heading there August 2021 so getting all the planning in before heading there! Thank you for the information!!
make sure u understand the Sun Road Ticket situation. visit their web site. and please subscribe
Thank you for the time you put in to making these videos.
You’re welcome! and thanks for recognizing the hard work.
I would love to check out glacier national park someday!
My son and I will be there in July. We both so excited! This will be our first time here. Thank you for the information!
Go to the park website or call ahead. Covid19 has caused changes. for ex no hiker shuttles this year.
Thanks for the info, planning a trip in July, so excited.....
ill be there too, this is very informative.
Steven Wyatt I hope you have a blast! Glacier is my fav! Going to Yosemite in June but will be back in Glacier in August. My daughter goes to college at MSU in Bozeman so it’s a given. Love Montana!
THanks
The second weekend in July has North American Indian days in Browning.
See ya there!
So informative and well put together! Great job
Thanks
Thank you,
I am getting Cabin Fever, so planning to on a big road trip soon.
If you like this one make sure you watch the 93 min one called Glacier: The Hiker's National Park- lots of pretty stuff in that one.
This is a great video! We are planning our trip for July 2022. Already have our reservations! Now looking at gear and itinerary. Thank you for this info!
Glad it was helpful!
A week later we saw a video of people running by the lake on that very trail because onlookers we're yelling, "BEAR!"
Don't run!
Be a conscientious hiker, be smart, and be prepared.
wow !!!!!
What a beautiful video loaded with great information. I really loced your narration. Will revisit this video once I plan my visit to the park. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Great video here! We can tell it took a lot of work. Great editing, information and thoroughness. You did a great job here. Loved every second of it. Keep it up. We're excited for our trip soon!
Thanks for recognizing the effort.
fyi- the park has been closing each morning due to over crowding!! it reopens in the afternoon and then closed again due to crowds.
@@TheWestisBig Bummer, but good to know. Thanks!
Great video. Really useful for planning. Going in 2 weeks time, can’t wait as it’s our 1st time there. Thanks
Thanks. If you don’t know about the need for a reservation ticket to drive the Sun Road- watch my video about it. It’s important. Btw- I wish I had reservations for this year- they are book up
Great information" it has helped in planning my late August 2020 glacier trip
Great to hear!
Looks like the entire east side of the park will be closed for the rest of the year
Yes, the Blackfoot tribe has closed anything on the reservation for the tourist season and beyond, which closes the east side of the park.
@@TheWestisBig i think there is a fire in yellowstone...we are going in from west side.
Fantastic video. I'm from Glasgow, Scotland, visited Glacier on a day trip many years ago, but plan to go for a few days in September this year ( if we're allowed !)🇺🇸🏴
Glad you liked! September is my favorite time to go. This year I went in early October and the fall color was great I released a video last night about the sights along the Sun Road- you might like it. here's a link ruclips.net/video/X3BXQuYCku4/видео.html If you're going nest year, my 93 minute guide will help you plan your trip-- here's a link ruclips.net/video/OVg_cYB2hSk/видео.html
BTW- I hope to go to Scotland one day and go to the Local Hero locations even though I hear Pennan Locals don't want us. Great movie! I wish I did it in my TR6
@@TheWestisBig thanks, appreciate it, I'll definitely check it out. Happy New year from Scotland 🏴🇺🇸
Perhaps talk about park passes and calendar, how to apply
I just got back from the park and talk to a Ranger so I'm making a new version as time permits.
I’m working out in Montana this summer. I work 9 days on and 6 days off. I’m 2 hours from GNP so I’m excited to go this summer
I wish I could get a gig like that!
The West is Big! Travel Guides wilderness ranger is pretty nice it’ll be my first season 😬
i finally found a youtuber who knows glacier park
glacier is my favroit
went there this summer, its just super beautiful.
It really is!
@@TheWestisBig im from germany and i am so lucky to have married a girl from Whitefish, MT! we will move to Whitefish or Kallispel , im looking so forward to live in MT i cant even find words after i visited this summer for the first time
Lucky you! If I good find a way to make a living there. I'd move there too.
@@TheWestisBig biden politics making it redicously expensive right, watching following zillow for a while now and some houses trippled since biden came into office. we luckily have the time to wait untill the prices come back down
thx we are visiting glacier this sept 21 cnt wait ,your video was very helpful/amazing
Thanks! FYI- I made a video of my Oct 1 trip last year to show the fall color- You're going to catch some of that it's quite nice- if the smoke stays away. Also, you may want to check out my 93 min video Glacier the Hiker's National Park or my 50+ hikes in glacier before you go. Lots more good info. And of course learn about the Sun Road reservation system and the just implemented Hiker shuttle reservations.- the shuttles are usually not running that late - but things are changing fast- so check with them.
Thanks so much! Going there in two weeks! Would love to find a private guide for small group. We were not able to get tickets on the Red Bus tour.
Thanks. i’m going to be there the 12-18 but i don’t have a ticket to get on the sun road- last minute side trip from WA wedding. the park is tricky these days
That’s why my 90 min glacier video is called “Glacier: The Hiker’s National Park”
Going to be there next week for 10 days. This video was very helpful, thanks!
How was it ?? We're going Aug.20-30th
This is an amazing intro guide!
One of the best trips I had.
thanks for the comment
Very useful information, I am planning a trip next summer. Just one thing, it will be nice if you put the distance of every trail you mention it . Thank you!! 👍
you can some things for yourself. or watch my glacier hiking videos
Really great info! Thanks so much! Going in about six weeks for the first time!
Thanks! I assume youknow the east side of the park will not open this year! This likely will include most of the Sun Road. fyi- I put out a covid19 update to this video. its on my channel. Also, if youre looking for hikes on the west side watch my 50hikes in Glacier video
@@TheWestisBig Thank you so much! I did watch your Covid update, which was very informative, but now would like to watch the video about the hiking, at least on the west side. It's a shame we won't be able to take Sun Road all the way over, but I think at this point, it ends at Avalanche. We'll have to return to see the east side another year. I wish the shuttles and the boat tours were running, as well. Thanks again and happy trails!
Loved your help in planning - I hope I get to do some of the trails you recommend.
I assume you know the east side of the park is closed due to covid19. check out my 92 min glacier hiking guide for more planning help
You do an awesome job. You made my mind up what park to go to out west.
THanks. Hopefully the Covid Issues will be over soon. Beware of the crowds. Fyi- check out my 90 min video on the park Glacier; The Hiker’s National Park. It has 90 min of info and great info
