I still haven't surpassed the Aguado-Sor-Carcassi mountain, hope you like this ultra famous study with it's enchanting melodic wave.

it is pretty hard in fact. I thought that I am able to play it without learning it but I just cannot. AWESOME SOUND! :)
Thank you Maestro for this performance , currently, I am learning it but sometimes it turns confusing but this video has helped me a lot. I love the classical guitar!

Love all of these etudes. I am a college guitar major, and I recently performed this one and No.4 on a recital. I am currently working on no. 2. great job!!!
I can say only one: perfect!! Etude played with big emotional involvement!!!

I'm really, really envious of your skill. Either you have a natural gift for the guitar, or you spend a lot of time getting each note polished to perfection--or both. I don't think I heard a flaw in that whole piece.

Great job! I have been learning this for years but never got it really smooth! I play it pretty much like you except that I fumble some of the stretches between ring and pinky. Good to see that my version is close though, this is the first time I heard anyone else play it. Thanks for posting it.

The only reasonI can see it's 5th grade is the changing of position, since the arpeggio pattern is basic stuff!

thanks, man. That part is pretty smooth now. I'm working on a sor chord study, and a Brouwer etude now. MY jury's coming up so i need to get them as smooth as possible.

u have no idea what this made for me.. there are some musical tunes out there that if you listen to them more than once you'll ruin it for yourself.. I think this was the perfect tune for in the perfect time for me even though it's the first time i listen to it!

Every piece has his hairy moments. Just play that bar seperately, let every note ring until you're comfortable, then do the sequence with one bar before the tricky one.
The trick with barre is not to press any harder but put your fingers better!

I'm mechanically able to play those notes in sequence...but nothing similar to the music you're able to play. You play beginner pieces like a pro!

@Vabejas same here, i find that barre at 1:12 difficult, can't press down enough the 2nd& 3rd strings to ring out
I thought his tempo was suitably moderate also had no issue with the slight pauses which if anything made it more graceful by creating breathing space. You evidently prefer a more mechanical interpretation.

@sirajghosh Thank you for your comment. I Use the Zoom H2 digital recorder (great quality) and Audacity for basic editing, very easy and cheap setup.
