Almost 2 years ago I was at a dark situation, so far away from my home and family. Throughout the negativity destroying my hope in life, I remembered your rendition of Canon in D. When my mind would flash to this song, I was able to calm down and keep the rest of my sanity (words can't describe how it touched my soul, you could say). When I calmed down I was finally able to shed some positive thinking, and to learn about how grateful I should be to the things I have and towards the people who still care about me. Since then I've had many ups and downs in my life, and today earlier I was becoming mentally frustrated, but at the back of my head I heard this song ringing in my mind, I calmed down yet again, and so here I am. I swear, i hear this almost every day and sometimes cry, its just so beautiful. This gets me inspired to grab my guitar and to do something... 9 months ago I started playing electric guitar, and 4 months ago my father gifted me an old Yamaha classical guitar he had bought when he was a teen but never made any use of saying to me "when you come around to it, I know this will bring you delight". For the first 2 months I had the classical guitar I scoffed at the lack of power and sound that such a "weak" version of the guitar could make, but one day I picked it up and started doing some scales on it and was amazed at how the vibrations from the nylon strings reverberated through the body of the guitar and made the sound so warm and peaceful. I began playing the heavy metal ballads I knew from my electric guitar on the classical guitar and they sounded so much more moving. I just finished my fall semester of senior year in college and I took a classical guitar class at my university and learned an immense amount and truly found such a passion for the classical guitar. Over the course of the semester I learned this song on my own and this Christmas I intend to play it for my family. Thank you for posting such a beautiful rendition of this amazing song, I thank you for your countless videos exemplifying the passion and feeling that comes from playing this beautiful instrument. I'm excited to keep diving further into both my electric guitar and classical guitar studies!

I swear, i hear this almost every day and sometimes cry, its just so beautiful.
This gets me inspired to grab my guitar and to do something... Even though i live an average life, nothing seems to make me truly happy, everyday ill just cancel another plan, dissapoint someone else again, fade into time and to get one day closer to when i can no longer do anything. You may hear i am a lost soul, because its true, at the end of the day ill just listen to this and be someone new, talk to the air, fake a smile, for all at least im alive to hear this .

9 months ago I started playing electric guitar, and 4 months ago my father gifted me an old Yamaha classical guitar he had bought when he was a teen but never made any use of saying to me "when you come around to it, I know this will bring you delight". For the first 2 months I had the classical guitar I scoffed at the lack of power and sound that such a "weak" version of the guitar could make, but one day I picked it up and started doing some scales on it and was amazed at how the vibrations from the nylon strings reverberated through the body of the guitar and made the sound so warm and peaceful. I began playing the heavy metal ballads I knew from my electric guitar on the classical guitar and they sounded so much more moving. I just finished my fall semester of senior year in college and I took a classical guitar class at my university and learned an immense amount and truly found such a passion for the classical guitar. Over the course of the semester I learned this song on my own and this Christmas I intend to play it for my family. Thank you for posting such a beautiful rendition of this amazing song, I thank you for your countless videos exemplifying the passion and feeling that comes from playing this beautiful instrument. I'm excited to keep diving further into both my electric guitar and classical guitar studies!
