  • This is a video of me in my tiny NYC apartment creating a forest style group planting with Chinese Elm Ulmus parvifolia var catlin indoor bonsai. These were small branches I pruned from my main Chinese Elm tree and rooted during the winter.

    The start of a nice forest, I don't think it will take too long before it looks really good. I like the variation in tree size and thickness!

    The final group of five is very well put together, with bigger trees at the front and the smaller ones at the back. Chinese Elms are quick growers, with clip and grow the canopy of the five trees will develop fast. Look forward to the updates.
