The technique of wiring the mesh down is news to me, I will do from now on. Appreciate the info 👍🏼

    Hi,
I recently re potted my Chinese elm using all akadama, it seems that whoever I water it the water is instantly draining straight through. Is this something I should be concerned about ? Or should I add some soil to the mix ?
My tree pot currently site on a humidifier tray with pebbles.
    Thanks and great vids!

Hi Callum. Akadama is perfect for a Chinese Elm - you want it to be free draining. Akadama should help prevent over watering and encourages small fibrous roots which is what you want as it has great air pockets. so pleased you found the videos helpful :)

Hi Jaz, we can't give you an exact time frame on watering as every tree is different. Just ensure that, like any other soil, the Akadama is kept damp at all times. I hope this helps:)

The camera man needs to watch where the action is. Too often I get either tops or bottoms of a display.
