Wish she knew ALL of history correctly. Like who was in America first before Italians, then British and Africans. Wish she completely understood that the Africans where selling there own people to come work for us. Yes a black selling another black. It wasn’t the skin color focused on it was the money of the people selling them. Yes I agree slavery at every time in history was wrong (it wasn’t just in America nor just Black people). Slavery happened since the beginning of time and it had to be overcome yet now bringing it up this way starts something worse. It brings up BLAME on others from something that they didn’t do. When being blamed a person gets paranoid or scared and doom have to find ways to protect themselves.
Myself i wasn’t taught that way. I have a father that taught me not to judge others from the outside but to love and learn about there heart and mind. I have friends of every race, religion and ethnicity and I have had to walk away from some to for them judging me or rather than just caring.
This country should be free. We have fought hard for our freedom. We should not blame anyone or another race especially when we fight our own. Just like blaming another religion when we need to focus on ourselves with God. I am writing this from the heart. Wake tomorrow like me any realize there are many people that don’t want to blame and if we stop then it will get passed on to so many others.

If slavery is never mentioned again, what has been done to rectify the jim crow laws and its effects, the redlining, bombing of communuties, the discrimination in housing, healthcare, and education. In short, you do not know her history to the T because we all experience life through our own lens no matter if our collective struggle is the same.
Just because something for sale you don't have to buy it. Especially when it wrong.
