CHEAPEST Jointer/Planer for newbie woodworking - JET JPT-10B

Today we are going to assemble and test out the CHEAPEST jointer/planer combo in the market. For something at this price, we are just as surprised at how efficient it is.

I have this, and I wish I would have bought a separate bench top jointer and planer for near the same money. The dust collection is horrible. and such a pain in the ass to switch to planer from jointer in the middle of your work: really kills your flow

I am okay with it. I joint all my pieces first then only I go for planing. Dust collection was not that good even when I connect it to a vacuum..... lots of debris inside the machine itself.

Estaba pensando en lo mismo, de hecho pensaba vender mi cepillo de banco DeWalt y comprar ésta 2x1....Pero no me convence la vaya lateral, parece débil, prefiero comprar una canteadora de 6 pulgadas, gracias @emobandito

@@JMEJIZU hola estoy en la misma, tengo el cepillo dewalt pensaba venderlo y comprar esta, pero como tú dices no me convence su potencia… cuando canteo la cara ancha de la madera se notó que le costó bastante 🫤

@@Lazosrusticos encontré una canteadora de 6 pulgadas a 300 Lucas, y estoy contentisimo, canteas por un lado y luego lo metes al cepillo de banco....en realidad hubiera sido un error vender el cepillo DeWalt....saludos bro..
