Golf Cart Sound Bar

- The owner of this golf cart came into our store looking to add some tunes. We showed him another golf cart we did with the JBL UB4100 sound bar and he knew it would would work perfectly for him. This sound bar is bolted through the roof using stainless steel hardware so they will never rust. This sound bar is fully amplified, so it just needs to be connected to power and ground at the battery. Being that this one was an electric golf cart, we needed to use a 48V to 12V converter for the sound bar. As you can hear, this sound bar is LOUD. Not only is it loud, it is also crystal clear. When this guy is cruising around the lakes, you will be sure to hear him coming. Is there any way to supplement these with some larger bass drivers that could be mounted elsewhere? I can't imagine fitting something up top there that would produce full range bass frequencies.
The new Rallybars are actually VERY impressive on bass response.
@@theaudiogarage7461 good to know, nothing beats a listening test. I do have a JBL bluetooth speaker (larger one) that I use for tunes at work, it's truly impressive! JBL for me is hot and cold, have heard some great products and also some duds especially in their professional reinforcement systems. Next is cutting those bolts down where it mounts to the roof :)
How does the JBL sound at lower volumes? I have another product on my golf cart now, and while it sounds great when cranked up, there is a lot of hiss when played at lower volumes. Doesn't do me any good if I want to enjoy some tunes while on the links. Thanks!
This particular sound bar has been discontinued. JBL replaced it with the RallyBar series. The RallyBars sound great no matter what volume you are on. They also have some AWESOME bass!
How does this JBL get power?

Hows the bass?
The bass isn't anything like a 12" subwoofer or anything, but it does provide a nice full range of music. JBL's new Rally Bars will have significantly more bass that this 4100. We are excited to get them soon. Thanks for watching!
@@theaudiogarage7461I’m looking into the rally bar xl for my can am defender. Do you know if these feet style mounts come with the rally bar too? I want to mount it up front but there is no tubing there.
@@driller6801 the Rally Bar XL BUMPS!!! We have one on our soundboard and it literally rattles the entire thing. The unfortunate thing though, it does not come with the feet to mount it. You could very easily make it work though, if you would like. We do have the Rally Bar in stock and we could ship it out to you if you would like. @@jordonrobertson2800Yes I did. I had to mount it on the back roll cage bar. I wanted it up front but unfortunately with out the feet it’s impossible. The included bar mounts work fine and it sounds amazing. Really easy to run and hide the wires along the cage too. The cable fits nicely in the rear windshield groove. Best sounding soundbar I’ve heard. Good bass, clean sound, and it gets very loud.

I'm sorry you feel that way. This is how the client wanted this bar installed. We put aluminum bar stock on the roof to reinforce the plastic and mounted in directly to the roof for him.

This particular model has been discontinued. The new JBL RallyBars have replaced them. The new RallyBars actually sound even better than this bar.
