I have a Boss blue tooth amp with speakers and I have it hooked up similarly to this set up with the exception of my buss bar being a positive side and negative side so my Boss is wired directly to the buss bar. The reducer is also wired to the solenoid so that it will come on when the golf cart is powered on. I get a high pitched noise coming from mine. Can you give me any advice as to what may cause this.

Do you have an inverter going from 48 to 12v? Is your sound bar hooked up to 48v?

@@Fentertainment i do have an inverter going from 48-12. The Bluetooth amp is hooked up to the 12 volt buss bar.

You are a master! I however didn't want to do all that work. I also didn't want the soundbar to drain the 48v golfcarts batteries. So in my txt I put a 12volt battery in the empty space and wired the sound bar directly to it. I just have to keep the separate 12 charged on its own. No big deal. Only issue I have is the sound but starts cutting out if I apply more that 80% volume. I'm hoping this is because I used an older batter I had lying around.

Did not explain how to hook up the speaker.
Where did you hook up the wire coming out of the radio. Very vague.

Such great instructions, however, I'm having issues. I've installed the same converter in my 2016 TXT, following your instructions in this and the other similar video you did. I've connected the Velex round marine radio to it and it does not power on at all (even with the key in the on position). I have a 35a fuse in the fuse block, is that causing an issue? I'm also getting a lot of sparks from the battery terminals when putting the wires on and off as I check the problems. Thanks so much!!

So on the blue converter you have 5 wires. yellow 48v input, black ground in & out, red 12v output, green keyswitch inpu, blue is 12v out constant. IF you dont have any power output from the red wire be sure that the green wire that is for the switch is hooked up to either the switch or main battery for the converter to turn on. It has to have 48v as well. If you hook it up to the main 48 then it will not power on and off with the cart and will stay on constantly.

The fuse for the radio needs to be 10a.

@@Fentertainment Thanks. Not planning to use any other accessories, I connected the red converter wire to the yellow wire of the radio (which has an inline fuse) also the ground wires for the same reason. Still no power to it at all. it's got to be the green wire from the converter that isn't properly connected with the tap back connection.
