Very helpful! Two questions... (1) Which is the activation side of my Selenoid? One of the smaller or larger terminals? and (2), the pigtail with the Reliance unit has 3 different gauge size wires. Do you know what the sizes are?
Did you say run negative from converter to fuse box and then another negative from fuse box to main pack negative? In the beginning I thought you said run converter negative to main pack negative. I’m at the wiring stage lol
I’m looking for same answer. Also, I have a 2007 36v EZGO TXT PDS with a 2 terminal key switch & not sure how to change it to 4 terminal to connect to reducer.
The only thing that I saw wrong was that you referred the constant power and activation wire flipped. I was confused about it and had to see it a couple of times.
Installing the Reliance converter to 48V 60Ah lithium pack. I want to run the green ignition switch to the solenoid instead of up front to the key switch. Does the solenoid only activate when you engage the accelerator, or is it on as soon as the key switch is turned on? Thanks in advance....
On an ezgo I’m getting 12v on the blue wire but not the red wire. Reliance suggests I connect the green wire to the solenoid. No mater which post I connect it to no power on the red. Not on tow. Ignition on. Can I jump the green to something else to test it? Jumping to main positive should work I think, but it doesn’t. Voltage in checks ok at the Harness for green and yellow and black. Any ideas?
Should you run that 12v that’s been inverted to a 12v battery to help with amp draw for a 5 channel amp? I’m wondering if my system will draw more amps than the reliance can handle…..
Bro, do you have diagram for this? is hard to follow on your video. It would be very great help for your subscriber if you can upload one :). Thank you and GodBless Sir!
I have a question for you! My golf cart is a 2007 36 volt and it runs good for a while and then it shuts down. I turn it off for just a few minutes and it starts back up for a little while longer. Any ideas what it may be?? Thanks
@@GolfCartsModified One more question, why didn’t you run the Storm Body Kit lights to the Reliance reducer? Is it better to use their reducer they give you or use the better Reliance reducer?
Love the channel! Question for you, what’s the best way to power a soundbar and subwoofer (both from ecoxgear stating 500 watts peak). Is it ok to run these both through this reliance converter? I notice the reliance is 30amp, is that enough? Thank you!
I see my comment disappeared from here as well. If I offended anyone or broke some rule I'm very sorry. I didn't use profanity or an off color remark. Please let me know what is my issue. Thanks
Need a video on the install.
Golf Cart Modified: You give great advice!

Can you show how you connect the key switch green line to the solenoid? and do I have to run the negative line from the fuse-block back to the pack?

Can you show what wire you run into the key switch or what one is for the activation for the solenoid on your actual set up?
Figure this out? I have the same question.

Should i put a fuse on the incoming power (battery pac) to protect the unit itself and if so what size? It's the 30amp model. Thanks in advance.
Two 30 amp reducers connected to the battery pack works just fine? I need a separate 12 v 30 amp to power my sub ..
What about all the mud and water getting in where the fuse box and reducer are?
I'm running a 1600.4 amp same reducer and distribution block how to wire it in .
And safe to run 12 gauge positive&negative
How do you correctly run the wires with a reducer and the fuse block?
Where can I get that fuse block
Love the channel can you show how to do a amp

Ill see what i can do
I would like a wiring diagram. Trying to figure out what the awg sizes are so I can extend the wires.

Sounds like the controller maybe getting hot and going into limp mode
Is the Amp/Stereo the only thing you have running from the 30A reducer? How many amps does the Amp/Stereo draw?
On this build it’s the only thing on the reducer. But that little Digital 400 watt amp doesn’t pull very much.

You should change the name to Question of the Whenever We Get To It. LOL
