Admission process at ETH is like you are going to enter heaven! Come on what the hell are all of those so many requirements? One of the problems that most students don't even apply to ETH is the complexity of the application process even on the PhD level!

    • @psitsmaria

you must be very frustrated to comment twice about the application process. I also applied to other schools other than eth and the application process was much more complicated, eth was one of the easiest ones tbh. @@psitsmaria Exactly, I already graduated with a MSc from Politecnico di Milano (Ranked 9th in Mechanical Eng. in QS). The application process was so easy. For my PhD, I thought of applying to ETH, then when I saw how complicated the admission process, I just applied to other unis instead such as Cambridge, UBC and so on, where the application process is online and much easier. The application to ETH is not even online for PhD, you have to fill many papers then sent them by mail and wait for the invitation of some interviews on campus 💔 given all of this effort, they might not select you at the end. I just wanted to point out that EHT application system is very complicated and they should learn from other universities how to make it simpler ✅

they say that 1 credit corresponds to 30 hours of work, so it basically depends on the course. I usually study around 6 hours per week for each course
