I don't believe both of them are playing us. Remember Onezwa took a break from social media. Nara content had changed up because she didn't have nothing to cook. Now Onezwa is back so is Nara. This is why Nara got kicked out of the trad wife community because those women actually take care of their children. They don't have nannies cooks and maids.

I absolutely adore Onezwa! Here she’s making biang biang noodles and that other one is making rice noodles. Biang biang noodles take more work and finesse IMO and Onezwa used local antelope and grew her produce.
I’m an artist and we all stand on the shoulders of those who came before. And noodles are East Asian, like boba.
That said it’s important to give credit where credit is due. Nara is also Mormon and that’s an EXTREMELY exploitive cult. That’s why they’re so rich. I’m Navajo and Mormons have a monopoly on the businesses in our tribal lands. They make money on our arts/crafts, food, tax refunds, etc. They own the gas stations. That alone condemns NS in my opinion. That cult is grounded in wyt supremacy and just recently allowed POC in. I’m guessing NS is their token WOC.
Obviously she appeals to a different demographic than Onezwa does. Many of her followers would prefer to cook in a couture dress than get their hands dirty.
I also cook garden to table and have shoveled plenty of manure, destroyed my manicure pulling weeds, killed pests, etc. That’s the reality! NS is cosplaying. When I see thumbnails of her “cooking” in her designer frocks I find it hysterical.

I feel like this is one of those things where you do similar things to the other creator but you’re really mocking them. Nara is very young but very immature, and to the public, it’s going to make her look like a bully. And the First Lady is right. I’ve noticed Nara doesn’t have recipes at all; it’s very unrealistic recipes or recipes that just aren’t good, like DIY RUclips, but I get she’s a brand, but she doesn’t have to destroy and bully smaller creators in the act. You’ve been rich since you were a young teen. Nobody has to hate anyone (Nara), but she needs to be held accountable. It just shows you can’t bring up a point about how you may be a victim and then how you will quickly be shut down and told to be quiet, and I think it’s because these people think they are Nara, though you’re probably closer to being in Onezwa's shoes than Nara. This is sooo Sad, food is food. Taco is a Taco. I don’t understand why we can’t just celebrate black girl magic, and see these two beautiful women of color cook. They are both very different, and Nara whom I been following well before she started cooking is a joy to look at and see her high fashion and family aspect. I love Onezwa voice and the way she recourses things I would have never thought to do, and the growing aspect of it. I think there is enough room for boba, I have even looked up different recipes for it well before they have. I’m just saying we have to start celebrating each other, we have enough jealousy and hate from other people and we have to stick together . I have an example, I own a small business, someone moved in across from me and they have the same vibe on some decor I had plan on doing well over a year ago. However, your response was funny ASF😂😂 & though it’s not Black American business per se, I’ve always believed Onezwa from the start of all this, as it was obvious that Nara was stealing, if not her recipes, Mos Def her content ideas. Plus many of us Southern Black folks can relate to her farm to table cooking methods, she reminds us of how some of are ppl still do in the South with growing her own food & making things from scratch. I truly hope Onezwa gets the recognition she deserves for her knowledge & all her hardwork😏
I don't think either is copying the other because they both used different techniques. One used the Chinese method and one used the Thai/Vietnamese method of making rice noodles. I think Onezwa used flour instead of rice but her method is how the Chinese /Korean/ Japanese uses to make noodles. RUclips has opened a learning tool so we can learn cooking methods from around the world and be able to use them in our everyday life. No one owns them.
