Since you only have plans to use Erudition characters, then I feel like I should at the very least mention, that Herta’s Store doesn’t have Erudition Lightcones. So you can use Herta Bonds to buy Star Rail Passes if you want to. So … that could be a few more wishes to get :3 Also, since you recorded this in 1.0, you might wanna go back to Simulated Universe Index whenever you can, because they added Event Indexes … which is a lot, like 20 Stellar Jades per event. And there are 38 total events (and yes, as usual some of these events are very rare, ofc) Hope this info can help you out a bit.
This is a really fun series; Erudition is such a good choice because it's the path many see as the least powerful and as a result the difficulty of the run is very evident. Congratulations on your perseverance against Kafka!
I lost 5050 for Jing Yuan then had to go to soft pity again to guarantee him (and A LOT of grinding). Then I just used whatever gems I got to wish and somehow managed to get his light cone at 27 pity at 2am in the morning with a few days left on the banner. I felt so lucky and saved up as much as I could for him since I started the game. Everything for Jing Yuan!

Seeing the ticket holographic tells you if it’s a 5 star, but there’s a slightly quicker way to disappoint yourself, the first time the ticket turns on the bottom right usually it’s just a haze, but for 5 stars the after image reaches so far you could fit another ticket in it.

Hey, I just wanted to say that you don't need to use Herta's skill in single-target situations. Just use a NA, it deals the same amount of dmg and doesn't consume a skill point!
@@stoglegirls Jing Yuan needs to use skill and ult to build stacks on Lightning Lord. His NA doesn't give stacks so it's not really worth leveling Jing's NA.
I reccomend actually reading the destruction blessings. There's a 1 star blessing that revives a character if they die in battle. Has saved me countless times.
I pulled for Jing Yuan's Light Cone on my Ice Only alt, and I have no regrets. Because it gave me two upgrades, with a maxed March 7th Light Cone, and the 5 star Light Cone for my Herta

if Java didn't know, there's the warp trotter (it has a form of a golden pig or smt) and if you kill it you get 60 jades and theres over 10 of them (they don't respawn, but yea) make sure to target it first, before it runs away
i had my bestie pull my jing yuan for me and i really wanted his lightcone too,so i spent the next few days grinding for it; and at some point i was like "nah lets just put some money in it" and yeah it was the fiirst pull after :') but yeah, i am so glad i got my jing yuan and his lightcone!
Why not use food? If anything is cheating I'd say it was spending money, not using food. Isn't the fun of challenge accounts the way it forces you to use characters and mechanics you might otherwise ignore? Well, that's my perspective anyway. But I understand really wanting the lightcone under these conditions.

Same happen to me, it was like 6hrs before the banner ends and i was like 40pulls away from getting a 5star lightcone when surprisingly i get his lightcone early.
getting this lightcone was really a rollercoster, i lost on the 24th pull... but then still managed to get it on the 18th pull after that that's great you got it!
This reminds me of my pulls for shenhe. I did 2 for ayaka and got her then I did like 160+ for her and got qiqi to the point some nice person got my genesis crystals and i got her as she was about to go
I've been thinking about wich path would be the most intresting and I feel destruction is the most intresting, not saying you should I was just thinking about the utilities of the paths: Erudition: multi target dmg Hunt: single target dmg Preservation: shields Abundance: heals Nihility: debuffs enemies + DoT Harmony: buff allies Destruction: tanky dps? I'm actually unsure what do they do, from simulated universe they're dps that the more dmg they get more dmg they do
I think destruction characters are your more self-sacrificial characters. Akin to Hu Tao or Xiao in that the more hp they lose, be it by themselves or a foe, they’ll hand that damage back to the enemy tenfold. I agree that it would be very interesting to see someone go this route, as Destruction characters have been made out to be a bit of a wild card.
@@VictorianGhost7 I don't think that's fully the case, so far we have only two destruction characters(Blade and Arlan) with the hp mechanic on play. Clara needs to be hit, but it doesn't matter what %is her hp to do big dmg. Phys MC just hits single or multi target, same with Hook. It's more like Destruction is the combination of Erudition and Hunt, but with a catch. Clara's basic and skill are not really usefull nor useless, her burst just makes it easier to trigger her follow up attack. Phys MC has the biggest dmg on her multi target skill, so you focus on her skill and burst with occasional NA to generate SP. With Hook you mostly do single target unless you use her burst, and you want enemies to be consistently burned. Arlan wants his HP to be low and Blade has his HP taken to do dmg, with occasional self healing to not die. I guess they're high risk high reward kind of characters? If you commit to their gimmick then you have an easy time to matter if it's one or multiple enemies
I notice that you're saving the 4 star lightcones for other paths and I just had the thought, why not just use them as exp for your Erudition lightcones?
I Would've enjoyed this series way more than i already am if you were a true f2p and suffered like us f2p peeps but i also think that JY's lightcone was a necessary step to make this playthrouigh possible so i dont mind you becoming a temporary dolphin

@@DeviL_4939 unlike character banners where you have a 50% chance to get the featured character (and 50% to get any other character from the standard banner), with light cones its a 75% chance to get the featured light cone and a 25% chance to get a different 5* light cone
I lost my 50/50 on the Seele banner to Bailu I tried to hard to get her, but I didn’t have enough time… pulled on the Jing Huan banner and got him in my first 10 pull… I’ve been trying for his light cone as a f2p player but also didn’t have enough time So imma try to get Silver Wolf and then rest up on the Loucha banner so I can stock up on Jades for whatever character I want

I grinded it as well, got it on 55th pull. Now i kinda regret it because it could be 55 pull for Loucha or Blade. But oh well, what's done is done...

for doing things like the stagnant shadow you can friend people and steal their characters. i use someones level 80s on everything
If you didn't know, you can flee from most overworld battles, so you can bail if you're way overpowered
The thing about Honkai Star rail's weapon banner is that the Promoted Light cone Has a 75% chance of dropping :D
