In our last video we pulled a Hu Tao from doing a couple wishes, and that made me want to bring her to C1, and get the Staff of Homa as well.
Now a lot of times, you'll see Genshin Impact videos of "If I _____, I Pull", but honestly I just wanted to pull. Plus I feel the concept is getting to be a bit overdone at this point, so we just pulled.

honestly the concept of this video is not just funny but also ground breaking. so many videos have been made where you set yourself a challenge to pull that here the challenge is to not set a challenge. it's like a loophole the ai is getting smarter
I mean normal wishing videos are pretty common, but in java's case it almost feels illegal
I dont me get me wrong, but i think this was one of the BEST advertisement that java has done for opera gx, like genuinely
I was there for like 4hrs wondering how he could make that into a video, and he did.
Best artifacts for Hu Tao are crimson or Shime but gilded is pretty decent on her too if you have good sub stats

Crimson 4 piece isn’t even good on hutao. Cause it requires constant skill uses in a set period of time. Shim is probably better somewhat. Although her burst is useful in her kit to some degree.
@@marley7659 It is really good. The damage increase from the 4 set is really good. Although she cannot take full advantage of it, it's still a really good set for her. It's only slightly behind shim in terms of ca dmg and the fact that you can use your burst which not only gives good amount of dmg but also healing makes it the overall BiS.
@@marley7659 its literally better than shimenawa, you get the same charged dmg while still being able to ult and do dmg with it

went from no hu tao to C1 + Homa in 140 pulls. Hoyo saw that I lost all my 50/50 before this and decided to be kind this time.
Then why aren't they kind to huh i lost my 50/50s as well and im f2p if qiqi didn't came home i would have c1 hu tao by now...T-T
this is exactly what happened to me, except I got c1 + homa in around 90 pulls

I somehow got c3 in 100 wishes, I do have a homa as well but I don’t remember if i spent money on it 😅

C1R1 Hu Tao was a very expensive feat for me too. While I did have to spend RL money, I got my Primo's worth from this *epic* banner wave.
I chose to skip Yelan this time, because I already achieved C6 on the featured 4-stars on my journey to C1 Hu Tao!
For the weapon banner, the RNG turned out to be more in my favor than expected. I got both Aqua AND Homa, as well as an R5 Fav. Sword and R5 Codex and at least one copy of the other 4-star weapons!
It'll be a long time before I'd be willing to spend anywhere near as much as over this month's rerun banners...
What this second half banner wave made me realize is how much whales and min-maxers get "punished" by diminishing returns. 😯
By the time you C2 a new limited 5-star on the same banner, you'll have all the featured 4-stars at C6 *on-average.* This happened to me earlier than expected and is why I didn't pull for Yelan after acquiring C1 Hu Tao. I'll be more inclined to pull Waifu Xingqiu when she returns with a different 4-star lineup.
What do you do as a job? If you don't mind me asking?

It's a part-time job and my first ever true job IRL! I'm still living with a working family, so my personal income is more than enough to cover the rate I intend to spend it. I've been recording every single 5-star milestone and transaction I achieve/make in Genshin via spreadsheet.
I've also done some interesting financial calculations in the file to determine the average and maximum cost of something on a limited banner and what I call, "The Whale Boarder" which is *$421 USD/year* (excluding minor intentional fees). Spending beyond the six initial 2x Genesis Crystal packs IS approaching whale territory.
Just because I am now making a good amount of money to spare doesn't mean that I will stop trying to critique this game and call out times when HoYoverse gets excessively greedy/exploitive, like what they appear to be doing to 3.5's character banners and how they've been treating Dehya, even if they don't directly affect me personally.

i already use opera gx but you make the ads always so entertaining that i cant skip it lmao
4pc CW is ideal though she doesn't lose that much from 2pc CW, 2pc any of the 80 EM sets if the substats are better. 4pc Shiminawa's is also solid but I would only recommend it if you are running her with a shield since you will likely only have your burst every other rotation. Not an issue if you can one cycle content but in longer fights it can leave you rather fragile.
Since you have Homa I 100% recommend an EM sands. It will basically always be more damage than an HP sands with Homa.
I’ve wanted Homa every Hu Tao banner but always got a different weapon when I tried for it so I decided this time around I wouldn’t waste my primogems trying to get it.
When I get primos I convert them to Intertwined Fates because I like seeing how many wishes I have saved up more than seeing how many primos I have. I got the primos from the event and bought my fates which landed me at 71 intertwined fates and I’m weird so I wanted it to be a round 70. I dropped the single pull on the weapon banner.
I got Homa. At 6 pity.

have fun w/ hu tao, and get ayaka on your first wish! im going for her as well with like 2 wishes to my name, altho ig im going to have the 20 or so archon quest free wishes as well? may all ayaka, shenhe, dehya, and cyno wanters become ayaka, shenhe, dehya, and cyno havers! also, if i have any wishes left after ayaka (or whoever i lose the 50/50 to lol), do i try pulling on the weapon banner or no? i know its a scam, but id be happy with either of the 5*s (on the second phase), and i want weapon upgrades for my characters, plus we're going to have mistsplitter on the weapon banner, and i use a LOT of sword characters... ah who am i kidding, im just typing this to convince myself at this point lol

Even if you don’t have Childe, Yoimiya, or Yelan, surely you at least have a Fischl right? She’s pretty much just an Oz bot and Aqua 2nd passive applies off-field.
And when the Wenut eventually comes to Abyss or the flying ruin monster ascends, you can have her ready for when you’re actually forced to use the aiming mechanic.
Also in the off chance you mean can’t aim as in “literally my mouse doesn’t move in aim mode I can only use WASD,” I’d rewindow the game smaller until it does move then readjust your actual PC to those aspect ratios. It’s what I had to do with my potato doesn’t even have a dedicated graphics card laptop, and now my inability to aim only comes from skill issue 👍

I made a new acc and my first ever pull on the event banner was Hu Tao, after that I said well I have her, but she needs the homa right? And so I did a single pull on the weapon banner and surprise, it was indeed a homa. And when I hit AR 10 and got the second set of 10 wishes I pulled on Noelle's banner and got Mona. So far the luckiest thing to happen to me. The only sad thing is it wasn't on my main.
