More of the same from Sinn Fein on open borders !
More homes for the irish, not asylum seekers sinn fein oppose nothing these days delighted there down in the polls
Suddenly the want to try & fix the mess they created , im sick of the whole lot of them.
It cannot be fixed by what they are proposing. Ireland needed to be building 60000 houses a year over the last 15 years but was only managing 20000 a year.
Shinners are fully paid for now...we've nobody in opposition..
Wouldn't you think that the sinners would have enough money from all those bank robberies and smuggling.
Simple Simon
Are you guys gonna do a piece about your journo Paul Connolly being exposed as being in cahoots with extreme left agitators to set up the people who are fed up with the new plantation happening in Ireland?
The Irish Electorate must be made aware that Simon Harris Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, - has dismantled one of the best Construction and Engineering Apprenticeship Education systems in the World. Heretofore, many of these Irish Apprentices won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the
WorldSkills
Competition (next one is in Leon Sept 2024). Harris removed most of the Apprenticeship Education Classes from the highly qualified Master Craftspersons Lecturers in the Institutes of Technology to FÁS. The Construction and Engineering Apprenticeships are now in a Terrible Shambles.
Harris and Leo are responsible for this. And of course it’s all covered up from the Public by mainstream Journalists.
Well Said 🇮🇪🤝🇮🇪 and Horrifically True!!! As these Evil Puppets are doing their EU/WEF Bosse's Bidding in completely Distroying all Irelands Ingenuity/Production plus Self independent Sufficiency and Flooding it with Low or No Skills Replacments to our Irish hard workers and what use to be highly skilled generation that has been Forsed to leave there Homeland in which is now Imploding under This Globalist Woke Tyrannical Regime
🌋☘️🏞️💚🌋
All these muppets have to go and i mean all of them.
Including sinn fein
Including sinn fein
HERE HERE
What is the alternative?
If SF stopped their Plantation of the 26 counties there might be homes for Irish.
That's a no they won't ,as far as I can see them SF lots a lame 🦆
Sinn Fein responsible for immigration and and housing are they? Even though they’ve never been in power?
Cop on.
Old racist claptrap, the fall back for the dumb
@@user-et4hp9sw3n Don’t forget to use “gender neutral ” “diversity” “equity” and inclusion” when you are spraying your word salad you’ve copped the “racist” bit but are forgetting the rest.
@@user-et4hp9sw3nsinn fein spent 30 yrs killing protestants and you feel you can talk about racism.
How come they didn't the Immigration problem
The answer is no, he's a privileged rich boy from Greystones who has never felt pain in his life. Everything has been handed to Simon and he has worked for nothing.
Affordable house's, not new builds at 450k and beyond
No one voted for simple Simon, it took 15 counts to keep his seat in the last election. We want an election so WE can vote on who WE want. We haven’t voted for any of the last 3 leaders because there not leaders there eu yes men.
his a yes man he cannot do anything the guy doesn`t even have a cv or ever worked abroad or built anything at all...........this is a joke. this career politicians has to be stopped
SF are finished along with the rest 😡
We hope.
Problems problems never any viable solutions. Even if the current parties surprise me there is no vote for the damage they have done.
It will be worse
#timeforanelection 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
It’s not about just building homes and throwing random people into them. It’s about making them affordable for Irish people and making rent affordable also. Ireland will become a land of big corporations and no young people left to work in them.
And land of big corporation and a new 3rd world country giving corporation and oligarchs ultimate powers over everything, absolutely zero NOTHING will ever change with these corrupted politicians in government and their other politicians supporters.
The only way to do that is to deregulate the market on property.
FA is what we'll get with our incoming Taoiseach
Simon Harris , Where do aborted babies go after the killing ?
Simon (you can't drape the irish flag over your coffin unless I say so)Harris
He is a very weak man! A leader should be strong in every way, physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
He is none of these things!!
What you are trying to say is he is a headless chicken
Physically means nothing, intelligent and spiritually, yes.
Physically? Our politicians need 6 packs now 😂
@richierich9943 Obviously not. You can be healthy looking, strong looking without having a six pack. My point was that a leader should have certain attributes and yes, looking strong should be one of them.
You have no right. To judge another. Human Being but. I suppose that is what keyboard warriors do and to refer to someone. As being Simple. Is very very insulting to those who are. Intellectual ly impaired
See Paul connelly exposed
Harris might be able to have a word with the imam and see if he could work another miracle with regards to building houses for the thousands of homeless indigenous irish people
Right after he figures out where the other 18 convids came from..........
Where is yer Paul
I am relatively new to Ireland and found it very odd to hear development of housing can be blocked for months due to government processes or objections from local residents. In places where there is no housing crisis these kinds of objections and delays are not entertained. Its seems the process of getting approval is failing and causing huge delays and ultimately i would say driving up costs due to lack of availability. Not saying thats the only problem but its the most obvious one to solve. Remove the delays to building and prices will likely come down. Stop entertaining delays and get on with it. 😀
That is what happens when a market is heavily regulated. Ireland has always been a heavily planned and regulated market.
Thanks for saving me from homelessness
Balbriggan..a historic irish town well and truly shafted by the powers that be...and the shinners where complecite
Btw News talk is finished too 🤪
We need new political parties. Sinn fein are loosing their way.
A party that actually stands for something like lower taxes, less government regulations, law and order.
@Art-is-craft and migration?
@@lindalonergan7887
Migration is only an issue because the government has gone too far.
@@Art-is-craftmary boo said you can't put a limit on people entering the country, is this what sinn fein calls "change".
@@lindalonergan7887
Many TD probably do not think there should be limits.
Take the VAT off building materials cut all grants and give tax exemptions to first time buyers .Overhaul the local authoroties. Give grants to contractors to train people in construction. All viiable alternatives to the mess we have
She's as bad, they all are!!
She says .Come mere till I tell you . What sort of a person is she. She thinks a general election will get her in. I will say to that Louise that you are living in wonderland!
Will SH change things 😂😂😂😂 joke s news mynews is know he won't
Is someone missing a phone?
Hope he didn't drop any phones when he was in all those hard prisons or if he did hopefully didn't attempt to pick it up.
There is no challenge. Ireland needs to deregulate its internal market. That does not mean no regulations it means a reduction. Housing planning in Ireland doubles the build cost of the average home.
Migrant housing doesn't need planning, so what's really going on here?
Ye... He'll do a lot to ensure non Irish people get housed before Irish as usual
They do notting.when there in.
Thanks for giving me secured home flat in didsbury
Thanks PM rishi
I might catch you again in tesco in rush like I did last week 😂😂. Useless
Hey Pat, Would you mind passing a message to Paul. He dropped his phone in Coolock. Thanks Pat
What about trying to attract foreign Construction workers by offering them Critical Skills Employment Permits, in every area of construction.
And where will they be housed once they get here? We have tonnes of young and able people here already that have come from overseas, can we stop handing them benefits and hand them a Hi-Vis and training instead? I have zero problems with opening our borders for those who need it…ZERO…but I do think that instead of giving them a Thursday collection at the post office, they should be given a contract of employment upon entry at something like a construction site to actually contribute to our society. When the Irish go to Oz they have to put in mandatory time doing farm work to stay there. Same deal.
@@orlaporlypuddinnpie I agree with you, as a long term solution and I actually mentioned this in another comment, but right NOW, we need trained construction workers for just a few years to help reduce the huge demand, until we can train up younger migrants into our country. We just need a quick solution to labour shortages in the industry.
@@orlaporlypuddinnpie With regard to housing them, I should think they could be housed on site, if they are deployed to Residential housing estates, surely the first few houses could be completed and made available, prior to hiring them.
@@pgilligan7794
That will not work. Bringing in foreign labour that operates at different standards will not be productive. Everywhere it is attempted cause quality issues. It would be a mica situation further down the line. Training in Ireland is the only solution. The problem is that Ireland runs a planned economy that ring fences industries and that’s what happened with construction apprenticeship in Ireland.
Antifa FM
The entire housing problem revolves around supply and this is down because costs of materials and labour have soared in recent years, leaving ordinary people unable to afford to buy. So the solution is clearly doing something to bring down costs. How about starting with labour costs which are only up due to a shortage of construction workers. Do we not now have a huge influx of young Ukrainians who might like to stay here long term if offered long term work visas, on condition they take up training and subsequent jobs in the construction industry.
Where are the Ukrainians to live? In more 5 star hotels at taxpayers' expense or in homes the Irish can't afford???
@@Jen-lg4hp Well they could stay on site if deployed to Residential building sites. Surely the first few houses built could be used to house workers until their next job. And they are already here, living in some form of accommodation, so I am not talking about bringing in more, just allowing those already here to train up in next couple of years and then join the work force.
Lots of young Irish builders heading over to work in England now!rents too high compared to wages
@@liamboyle6312And the rest of Europe, Australia, the US etc
@liamboyle6312 And those rents would quickly come down if there were more houses to rent. The only solution for everybody is to build MORE houses. And for that we need costs to come down. So labour costs have to come down.
The kitchen
Dublin voters vote him and all of this government out Brnd new candidates
For the better? I doubt it
They all make me sick, they are all talk and no action, that is all they ever do.
😢
😮
And what about sending recruiters to China and trying to attract Chinese Construction workers, who are all likely out of work right now, as the housing crash continues over there.
What would you get in China that you can’t get from the rest of Europe?
@@UserUser45654 Because construction workers are out of work in China. There is nowhere in Europe where construction workers are out of work. There is a shortage in every country, except, China.!
@UserUser45654 Since Covid, there has been a shortage of housing worldwide, because building stopped during covid lockdowns, with one exception, China. There has been a massive housing crash mainly due to over_investment in housing and a declining population. Building has stalled, for now, so workers are idle, so this might be an opportunity for other countries to increase their labour force.
@@pgilligan7794
China has some of the worst building standards and practices in the world. You think the mica crisis was bad?
@@Art-is-craft Clearly they would be working under Irish engineers and foremen. How would they cause another mica crisis. They would not have any control over materials or practices. We simply need their skills. We need brick layers, carpenters, plasterers, electricians, etc. You are obviously an Irish Construction worker who doesn’t want any competition. Nobody is threatening your job. The country needs More houses built urgently. That is all.
If talking could build homes,,there wouldn't be a square meter of land left in the country,,,,,
"We need to do more". Sick hearing the government saying this and doing nothing. Vote Sinn Féin! If we don't try them our children's children will never forgive us
It would actually be amazing if the government really did nothing as it would allow things to happen. The government created all these issues by over planning.
"its just too hard wait in your tents and hostels while we figure out a way for you to be happy for our class lives built off landlordism and admire our hard work going on trips to Europe with all the post colonial overlords" legit all i hear listening to Fianna fail fine gael aristo wannabes
