His flight club does this thing where they have pumpkin dropping competitions and I can't remember he you got first or second but I remember he did really well. That same uncle was also a pilot in the military and flew medical choppers in Vietnam so that dude could fly!

6 months ago my desk was empty. Now it's littered with drone parts, gopros, and escs. I'm just a few short steps away from building a plane to chase with my drone. It's all inspired by your channel. I've literally got notebooks full of math going into the perfect plane builds based on your recommendations. Thanks for getting me into a new and inexpensive (ehhhhhhhh) hobby :)
Here is an idea for the next time you need to make a bullseye in the snow. Get a hand held sprayer and use food coloring and water. That spray paint will poison the ground when the snow melts and leave you with bald spots on your lawn. BTW. I am referring to my experience when I did the same thing to my father's lawn.
I’d love to see a Skyhook challenge! (Also known as the Fulton surface-to-air recovery system) An airborne aircraft recovers a person on the ground by hooking onto a self-inflating balloon that’s attached to a lift line attached to the person. Keep doing what you do!!
It's all about having fun! Awesome idea guys. So with the dive bomb theme how about doing a water drop over fire? May be harder to do in your winter weather but watching those planes drop water on the California forest fires is amazing.
Okay here's a challenge: get all of your Builders together, and see who can build an airplane that will either go the farthest or stay up the longest. And get whoever is available and bring over Peter as well
This RC Hobby has come such a long way since I was flying. I started in roughly 1977 with the old 4 channel Kraft Radios. I was 14 and bought the balsa kits and tried to avoid dinosaur piles on the runway. OS Max was the engine if you could afford one, I had a K&B which was dependable. I missed the runway so often my so called buddies got stickers and wrote Weed Eater across the wings. If I could add fuel and fly again I didn't care where it came down. I don't know how many hay bales I handled to buy that setup. The Simple Stick reminded me of my plane.
I am surprised we didn't see a can of soda explode from an airplane with that. I guess you can't make a soda bomb from a rc plane bomb drop just cause the explosion isn't very epic at all. Looks like good fun! Good work!

You fellers should cad out a simple steerable fin kit for a Gatorade bottle with a fpv camera mount that uses the thread pattern of a Gatorade lid. Plug and play guided "bomb" kit for competitions like this one.
Crazy challenges, build a large scale H-1 Hercules, and or build a P-63 Kingcobra with the prop actually driven by a shaft connected to a motor mounted mid fuselage.

Easter is coming up. Dive bomb a bunch of colorful Easter eggs while the weather is nicer. See who can find the most. Or maybe make like a giant Easter basket and see who can drop the most eggs in it until the batteries die off
If they had dropped 5, #5 would have been the Kamakaze Pop Can Challenge. Lol! (100 points for putting the can AND the plane in the bucket.) They should try something like this again, but using an FPV setup. The bucket would be in serious danger!
Way back in the day, my buddy bought a soda before lunch, but then got called to assist a teach. So we spent the next 30 minutes shaking that soda, passing it back and forth between the group of us. We were expecting that Exploding Can moment from the Simpsons. Buddy pops the top on the can, and it made a horrible hissing sound, but that was it. He took a sip and pulled a face; the soda was completely flat.
