Visited my Nana in Florida & she didn't believe in McDonald's so whenever we took day trips around Florida, we would pull over at one of those heavy concrete picnic benches along the roads & have our lunch. So glad to see 50 years later they & orange grove rest stops still exist.
Definitely kicking it old school. Abandon Hotel and now little towns. These small town episodes are some of the best because we get to hear you talk more and you just seem relaxed and content.
Add I’m very excited that you’re doing more of these style videos. All your videos are enjoyable but these are my personal favorites. You put so much detail in them, even in something as simple as a broken down sign. Looking forward to future ones like this!
It's great to see Beth exploring with you again! It's been a while! It was hilarious how she ran out of the weeds when you mentioned the snakes and gators! 🙂
Loving these back roads videos close to home! Yesterday's was a real thriller! I believe that rock was real, and your adrenalin was so high that you were able to move it with 2 fingers! We're so happy you made it out of there safe! 🙂
Great video Adam! Classic vibe for sure. And it’s great to see Beth. Glad she’s doing well. Wish she would have brought her guitar. 🙂 She is cool and fun and adventurous and she brings out the same in you. Definitely a fun, old school feel to this one and would love to see more. 👍
Beth! I missed Beth. This is awesome. It's like the old main channel days. It gave me the old warm and fuzzies. Makes me think of the old trailer trash song.
I just can't understand why some people spray paint things break windows, it takes away character of these older buildings. I'm 60 years years old and have never even thought of doing damage like this. On a good note thank you for showing us the beautiful things that are still around, for now anyway
I love when abandoned things are used as a canvas. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. If someone actually valued that stuff, they wouldn’t have left it to rot. Someone else came along and wanted to express themselves. That’s character.
Hi Adam The 'LITTLE GIRL" has grown up// Beth looks great and I hope you and her had a great time off camera..Tks Adam great to see yo back to your old stuff that made your channel..Ron
Desert Inn!!!! It’s slowly imploding on itself…luckily the fence is missing and you got a peek inside! I remember your video of you staying there…quite the experience I remember 🤔
I drove across Alligator Alley often back in 1987-89. The tour buses were for the casino on the Indian reservation there. Good to see Yeehaw Junction again. I saw the video you made when you stayed there and again the day after it was crashed into. The fence was still up in May.
Exploring things off the beaten path in the backroads off the main highway not knowing what you’ll find but always enjoying what you see and trying to make sense of what it is that you are looking at, that’s what you get when when you hang out with Adam and boy it truly is a great feeling to learn about America and how it used to be compared to now and I love that with you Adam we never forget about the past now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and your friend and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure also your friend I checked out her band online and listen to a small clip of one song and she song was great and she’s a darn good singer peace ☮️ out ✌️
Good morning Adam 🌞 great to see these back roads adventure that you do best. They are always great to see the small towns in America lol only in America 😂. Thanks for sharing this. Stay awesome 😎👍📸
Sad that almost anywhere you go in Central Florida nowadays, you always need to be self-aware of your surroundings, especially when it comes to homeless camps. I experience the same thing myself, even in well maintained local parks. So very sad.
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome backroads video! There's a bank like that in Milburn, Ok and I took a screenshot of it to post on my community tab after I'm through commenting on here. Thank you for taking me along with you! Why don't they put a roof on that church for the homeless? Can't wait till your next awesome vlog!
I recently went on a trip to Orange county and Los Angeles. Universal Studios and Knotts be exact. I found a lot of places I've seen in your vlogs. It felt like I had been there before. I went to Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. I drove past the Railroad museum, The LA zoo. LA traffic was a nightmare 2 hours to go 30 miles. But I'm starting to venture out into So. Cal thanks to your vlogs.
I love these kind of videos, Adam. Just be careful. I know you're always alert regarding alligators. Enjoy your day.👏🏻🤠👏🏻 I think a few parts of FL have crocodiles, too.
This was fun! Hatchet house was kinda spooky and it was nice to see the inside of that Desert Inn. Also I really like this Beth lady, she rocks, and such a great complement to the vlog! :)
WOW! takes me back to1974-1980's traveled those roads going to Disney. and the "desert inn" stopped by for a beer back in the day. truckers and the bordelo. thanks for the trip back in time.
Adam, when are you going to visit The Villages my central Florida community ?? Even the IMO great RUclipsr Peter Santenello recently made a visit here and did an honest video on The Villages. A good day to visit would be on 12/9 when the 2nd annual Santa-Con South will be held featuring entertainment by the Leesburg Blues Brothers. It is not often when you can see a few hundred seniors and their golf carts decked out like Santa. If you are interested in learning more about this event outreach Villages RUclipsr Rusty Nelson who helps coordinate this event.
I lived in central Florida during the building boom of the late 60's through the 70's. I worked for a few different road construction companies during that time, we ran lime rock for road base all along 192, the metal building with Holopaw on the roof was marking a small landing strip for light aircraft and crop dusters. Heart Break Hotel was there then but it didn't look that good. A lifelong Floridian that worked with us from Narcoosee told us the same story about Elvis staying there. Enjoyed the video.
These are awesome man. Took a road trip with my mom and nana today to Deland and checked out some off the beaten path stuff on the way there. Including a drive thru liquor store in a barn haha
I played a drinking game this morning with my piping hot caffeinated beverage. Drink every time you hear the word gator today and you'll be ready for the day...or in need of a refill...lol. Great video Adam.

I meant to say thursday Oct 12th was when was recorded but had 13th on my brain.

I realized it because today is Friday the 13th. "Adam the Woo states the wrong date to you, he don't even ask your mom!"
Dang, now you gotta refilm the whole dang thing...
After yesterday's intense creepy adventure, it is not surprising! 🙂
Visited my Nana in Florida & she didn't believe in McDonald's so whenever we took day trips around Florida, we would pull over at one of those heavy concrete picnic benches along the roads & have our lunch. So glad to see 50 years later they & orange grove rest stops still exist.

the Urban Explorer Woo is the one of the best Woos!

Adam really thrives when exploring back roads.

It's great to see Beth exploring with you again! It's been a while! It was hilarious how she ran out of the weeds when you mentioned the snakes and gators! 🙂
That was so funny. I think it was the most hilarious thing EVER!!! She should forget the band and become a comedian

Loving these back roads videos close to home! Yesterday's was a real thriller! I believe that rock was real, and your adrenalin was so high that you were able to move it with 2 fingers! We're so happy you made it out of there safe! 🙂
You are in your element and seem so much more content. Glad you are doing things that make you happy!

The spruce tree produces a resin which can be chewed. Spruce Gum is an old timey treat in the Northeast.
Love it, two long back road videos the last two days. More more more! also, Thank you :)

I'm 60 years years old and have never even thought of doing damage like this. On a good note thank you for showing us the beautiful things that are still around, for now anyway
It's the "abandoned" mentality. They label things as abandoned so they can feel comfortable about vandalizing it.
Just turned 61, totally agree.❤
We were taught better.
Animals
I love when abandoned things are used as a canvas. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. If someone actually valued that stuff, they wouldn’t have left it to rot. Someone else came along and wanted to express themselves. That’s character.

Yeah this is what we have all been waiting for, the back roads exploring with so many surprises. From Universal Jamie.
These old school videos are awesome Adam!
I drove across Alligator Alley often back in 1987-89. The tour buses were for the casino on the Indian reservation there.

hello Adam and Beth , cool interesting explore , well done and thank you 😊
"I'm not afraid of gators either unless I don't see them and I put my toes in their mouth." That cracked me up!😅😅
The next line was what got me. “…but I have shoes on so I’m protected.”
@craigcampbell1843 Yeah it was hilarious!
Her "you go first"...uh ma'am you suggested we go in there, so you first 😂😂
Just wanna say thanks for making my life better. Safe travels 😁

Please keep this up!! I love it
As soon as Beth came into view I started hearing the Trailer Is Trash song in my head when she sang in your video years ago. 😂
That’s a deep cut
It cracked me up, that song did. Writing like Yoda I am. I remember her walking over brambles with a very nice guitar I hoped she wouldn’t ruin!
Wow this tripped me out. I was just watching Beth’s music videos and thought man I wish she would do another vid with Adam. And bingo!!!😊

When you told Beth that the old tin can was AN OLD GARGOYLE...😂 I spit out my hot caffeinated beverage
I love these kind of videos, Adam. Just be careful. I know you're always alert regarding alligators. Enjoy your day.👏🏻🤠👏🏻 I think a few parts of FL have crocodiles, too.

These are awesome man. Took a road trip with my mom and nana today to Deland and checked out some off the beaten path stuff on the way there. Including a drive thru liquor store in a barn haha
While I enjoy your convention and Disney videos I love these back road type videos. They are interesting. Thank you.
Cool to see Beth again. One of the OGs on this channel or I should say the old Adam The Woo channel with the theme song.
Great video!!! In a way its nice some relics aren't torn down, super creepy though 😂 i mean, that doll, or stuffed animal was spooky.
I played a drinking game this morning with my piping hot caffeinated beverage. Drink every time you hear the word gator today and you'll be ready for the day...or in need of a refill...lol. Great video Adam.
This is the woo I subscribed to. ❤
Another great explore!
Love Beth's heart glasses! Quite cool!
Love Beth so good to see her again.
Love Beth’s Chucks! 😁
You might want to question the friendship of someone who wants to go into a sketchy place and then says, “You go first!” Lol!
This was awesome!!! Love that area!
Hi Beth!!
I like backroad vlogs that include a revisit or two. That little bank is one of my faves.
