my art teacher showed me this band, he was real into music like this and a lot of punk rock, made beautiful art, he passed a few days ago, cant stop listening, my favorite teacher and a good friend, i'll miss seeing him my senior year

I absolutely feel the same! Found this band listening to Blitzkid on spotify (another band that i found WAY too late in my life). Coincidentally, I went to my first Calabrese show last month and who was the guest bassist!?!... Argyle Goolsby from Blitzkid!!! Met the band after the show, such cool guys, Davey youre freakin AWESOME! Cant wait to see you guys in Tucson in September!

Having played with these gentlemen, I can say they are some of the nicest guys I've ever met. They put on an INCREDIBLY good live show. They worship Glen Danzig and are very much honoring him by making such badass tunes. Keep the undead alive!!! 13 Halloweens FTW
there's something about calabrese that not all horror punk bands have, I don't know why, even though i know lots of Horror punk bands the only ones i stick with are blitzkid, misfits, balzac and these guys, don't get me wrong, all horror punk is awesome, but there's something about these bands that makes them way better at least for me
I still remember listening to this masterpiece of an album in 2008 in my tiny car while coming back home from college. Love from Saudi Arabia!
These guys have there own sound and it fucking rocks! As a side note, Danzig himself has mentioned how good they are.

Calabrese, Nim Vind, Misfits, Samhain, Danzig, Plan 9 and Order of the Fly. Those were my bands of choice in Highschool. I love coming back to this every now and then to get that nostalgia fix.
Saw them in Ft. Worth a month ago and seeing them again in Dallas next week. They're a great, solid band and they go out of their way for fans. Buy their merchandise and support independent music.

When I was in 7th grade back in 2001, Misfits, Samhain, Type O Negative, Danzig and AFI were pretty much all I listened to when the leaves started changing (I live in New England; we take spooky season seriously here), so when I discovered these guys, I got to relive my formative years all over again

smokingbandit67: There is nothing you, me, or anybody on this planet can say to take away from what the Ramones, Black Flag, Misfits, and others have done to the "music industry". These guys were tough because they had to be, not because they made a conscious effort to be "tough". These bands had to fight to be heard-figuratively and sometimes literally-in a musical landscape that was not ready for them. They paved the way. Because of that, today's bands don't face the same kind of adversity.
I remember seeing this the night it came out live in 07 in Mesa Arizona. Good times

They don't shy away from any medium as long as they get to promote their music. You Tube, social networks, blogging networks, comic books, cds, i-tunes, books, movies, etc. Calabrese is an all out media blitz without a major record company! They are what do it yourself is all about! How many bands can not only say, but DO that?

I've seen these guys so many times. They hang out before and after the shows. I used to work at Target and Jimmy came in to my department and we talked a bunch. They super glued a Tarzan McDonald's toy on there Amp cause we gave it to them. Super awesome guys.
