Wow Gerard is a beast with that proxxon, cutting free hand all those curves

He might be the hot wire king, but watching him free-hand those bevels with a knife is also something to behold.

Oh yeah, for sure! You can correct a lot as well with the hand sander with your free hand cuts!

I like how you say to carry on with the project if you have some uneven cuts and whatnot. One time I was doing small chests and free-hand cut the rounded lid. They were really quite off, but it was my first time doing them so I decided to keep on crafting to maybe learn something along the way (even if just more mistakes to avoid).
In the end they turned out really good, and after texturing you can't really see the unevenness, unless you look really close. Also, it kinda adds to it actually, as those things were not made with laser precision.
So it's good to keep on crafting regardless of mistakes. Worst case scenario, you'll learn things on the first try, so you can make it right the second time - instead of learning one thing at a time and re-doing the build several times.

I just love his structures. Idk if it's solely his technique or his knowledge of architecture that make them look so.. warm and cozy. It's gunna be neat if his style has infected you who already has a very high skill set.
