Good stuff sir! I always this of Peter getting out of the boat. That was faith in action the way its supposed to be. There has to be some kind of action for sure! "Stepping out in faith"....LOL Thank you Sir for another challenging lesson!.

Studied this word. Faith is (the support of things you expect to be). Aman. If you want something to exist in your space , make it happen with action. Confidence in doing.

I too am trying to wrap my head around the true meaning of faith. I am certain it is basically "belief in action". That I think would be a simple definition of faith. What I am trying to grasp is when Jesus says, "If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed,..." Then I understand that we can possess faith. So how can we possess something that is actually an action? My brain is starting to hurt...

the mustard seed - I would say he's speaking of a continuous changing state of becoming better and better, becoming a new creation. The seed falls to the ground and becomes a tree. the catepillar becomes a butterfly. I'm not who I was. I am new.
How can we possess something that is actually an action? You possess/ have the word of God -knowledge- in which you turn into action by obeying it. Therefore, one say you possess faith. Faith is Word turn into action. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

also we should be careful when we say love others... it dosent mean tolerate them... it means lead them into obedience and fear of the Lord... and into repentance...
remember tolerating a homosexual and loving him is different if u truly love him you would help him to stop sinning...

The Hebrew word for faith is emunah. But us Jews are told to KNOW not just believe and have faith. Specifically to know. We know that we got the Torah at Sinai. Whole generation and nation were there. We all heard and saw the first 2 commandments. Not only can one not make that up but we are also told then that no other nation ever in future would make such a claim of national revelations like that. And none have. So have all the faith and belief you want but we are told to know specifically.
