People are really ignorant about how diverse Brazil is. They expect that all Brazilians are brown or black when we have every single ethnicity in our genetic makeup.
Yeah, no, every single ethnicity, is too much; it's uncommon for us to see anglo-saxon and nordic people here. Not generalizing, but it is easy for us to tell they're gringos, unlike most asians or slavs, f. ex., because of the past immigrations.
@@dmtvector Anglo-saxon and nordic people are uncommon everywhere except their very small originary regions. Even the US and Australia have more non-WASPs than WASPs. But anyway, these people are not easily differentiated from the very common Northern Italian, German, Austrian, and some Iberian descendants that live in Brazil. The actual ethnicity that is very uncommon in Brazil and common outside Brazil is South Asian.
@@tl8211 The closest we have to Nordics here are our German colonies, and I don't think they look alike. Even Germans from Germany have their own distinct appearance. I can give you some examples that you can check out here on YT: Loli Gibien, a typical German descendant from Santa Catarina/BR, Lea Maria and Caio Alemão from Germany. They're white, but not almost albino-white like some Nordics are. They also don’t resemble British people, who colonized the US, AU, and CA, like, f. ex., Colin Furze or this Australian dude crossing Latin America right now, AussieEspañol. I think they look different because of the Celtic mix in their genetic pool, and this is enough for us to differentiate them from the Brazilian Germans, also the Slavs (Polish and Ukrainian). About South Asians, yeah, we don't have many around here, but it's difficult for us to differentiate them from the Brazilian Japanese communities or maybe even Indigenous ppl. For example, take a look at Ivana from Jetlag Warriors, most ppl here thought she was Brazilian, and this other couple that currently are visiting Brazil and blend in very well, Aey and Mel.
Ninth day of requesting this idea: Hello! It will be really nice if you guys made a video of comparing different Chinese dialects like the Hokkien dialect, hakka dialect, and cantonese dialect with Korean and Japanese. And get these people who speak it from China specifically. You can find some majority of hokkien speaking people in the Fujian province of China. You can find majority of Hakka speaking people from Guangdong province in China. You can find majority of Cantonese speaking people from Guangdong province in China. This is because these dialects are closer to old and Middle Chinese. So there will be more similarities when you compare Korean, japanese. Wenzhounese is another suggestion, as it’s probably the dialect that’s the most different/ unintelligible from other dialects of China, so it would be fun to compare them.
Some words that are similar in hokkien compared to Korean or Japanese (These words also sound similar in some other Chinese dialects , some may sound similar to mandarin as well, but this dialect sounds way more similar compared to mandarin): Hokkien Word for: World( sounds similar to sekai) Time (sounds similar to shigan) Real/really 真正 (sounds similar to jinja) Alcohol/wine/shaojiiu (sounds similar to soju) Ready (sounds similar to junbi) Book (sounds similar to chaeg) Furniture (sounds similar to gagu) Reporter (sounds similar to gija) Police station (sounds simialr to pachulso) Civil servant (sounds similar to gongmuwon) Library (Sounds similar to doseogwan) Japan (mandarin says Ri ben, but in many older Chinese dialects in the south such as hokkien, they pronounce it like: nippon) Parents Exercise (sounds similar to udong) And there are many more words that sound much more similar in these Chinese dialects compared to mandarin! Also these are not similar, but kinda similar: In hokkien, one way to say thanks is: 感謝 And the pronunciation in Japanese and Korean are similar the Chinese pronunciation. Also a hokkien swear word is tsi-bai, which sorta sounds like a Korean curse word called shibal
5:40 "You don't look Brazilian at all" How? Julia looks VERY Brazilian... Not that Brazil has a specific look, but Julia has kind of a common look for Brazil.
It’s impossible to recognize Brazilian people. Brazilian don’t have a stereotype, all of people in this video could be Brazilian.

Ninth day of requesting this idea:
Hello!
Some words that are similar in hokkien compared to Korean or Japanese
(These words also sound similar in some other Chinese dialects , some may sound similar to mandarin as well, but this dialect sounds way more similar compared to mandarin):
Hokkien Word for:
World( sounds similar to sekai)
Time (sounds similar to shigan)
Real/really 真正 (sounds similar to jinja)
Alcohol/wine/shaojiiu (sounds similar to soju)
Ready (sounds similar to junbi)
Book (sounds similar to chaeg)
Furniture (sounds similar to gagu)
Reporter (sounds similar to gija)
Police station (sounds simialr to pachulso)
Civil servant (sounds similar to gongmuwon)
Library (Sounds similar to doseogwan)
Japan (mandarin says Ri ben, but in many older Chinese dialects in the south such as hokkien, they pronounce it like: nippon)
Parents
Exercise (sounds similar to udong)
And there are many more words that sound much more similar in these Chinese dialects compared to mandarin!
Also these are not similar, but kinda similar:
In hokkien, one way to say thanks is: 感謝
And the pronunciation in Japanese and Korean are similar the Chinese pronunciation.
Also a hokkien swear word is tsi-bai, which sorta sounds like a Korean curse word called shibal
5:40 "You don't look Brazilian at all"
How? Julia looks VERY Brazilian... Not that Brazil has a specific look, but Julia has kind of a common look for Brazil.
Engraçado é que eles acham que o Portuguese "parece" mais brasileiro do que a brasileira.
We want more videos like this and with this wonderful duo. ❤❤❤
Mds vcs dois sao tao fofos os dois parecem ter a personalidade de um golden retriver!! ❤❤😂
It’s impossible to recognize Brazilian people. Brazilian don’t have a stereotype, all of people in this video could be Brazilian.
If you watch “The Bourne Identity”, one of the episodes, Jason Bourne show that he has a Brazilian’s passport, no one would doubt about his nationality. Brazilian is a mix of Europeans, Africans, Asias and Indians (Brazilian First Nation).
Some Brazilian people it is easy to see.
Oi Julia 🎉🎉🎉 o seu comentário recebeu um ❤ da Julia
Fico impressionado com a velocidade que a Julia fala o Inglês, acho que nem o português ela consegue falar tão rápido.

The two blond ladies are very good at guessing! Love this series.
I even understand that europeans don't discover that she is brazilian, so It is shown to the world, which is Brazil's carnival, so they must think that to be brazilian you have to be like someone like me, even though here there is a large portion of the population of white people.
Esses dois tem uma boa química.
Más a Júlia é foda!
Muito simpática e manda bem!
This was so fun!!! Please more of them!!!!
Always nice to see Miguel and Julia
Love the duo
Interesting vid. The both look like generic Southern Europeans to me. Would like to see more of these street interview vids.
Os brancos do Brasil são majoritamentes descedentes de imigrantes do sul da europa , principalmente Portugueses e Italianos.
They’re look nice together ❤

Nesse vídeo percebi que o menino português NÃO é alto, que fofo
Os portugueses não são muito altos, embora ultimamente a altura dos portugueses tem aumentado. 😊
Não são altos? Tas a brincar?

Bom dia pra oriental brasileira 🌞🇧🇷🇯🇵🏯⛩🗻
