Great tips coach, as always! The problem with heavy punchers is they only have to be good once, and you only have to mess up once for it to be over. Look at Wilder v Ortiz 2. My man Luis was doing real good, landing and slipping, until Deontay finally managed to land that big right and catapult every drop of sweat off of his cranium
This "how to fight..." series is great. All tips are sensible, realistic and practical. And you perfectly explain the hows and the whys. And watching Eddie putting in motion those explanations is simply a luxury gift. I'm a fan for many years now, and it seems that I will continue for a long time. Keep doing that good! Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you and to the entire boxing brotherhood.
You made me feel like you saw my last fight 🤦🏾♂️This was another great lesson coach Anthony!! 🙏🏾 I've been watching since the pandemic and have incorporated so much you teach into my style and I'm really appreciative
I really do appreciate the tips as always coach Anthony !!! You are really doing amazing things coach. I hope you and your family have a happy new year !!!
Very cool format of the videos, entertaining, informative and useful at the same time. It feels like im reading some superhero magazine with all those great effects, pow pow bam 😊🎉❤.
Coach Anthony this is Jesus casiano I teach the cuban style there was a few points that I saw you teach that from experience as a fighter I done &teach thank you for your teachings and to see another coach explaining what I've done and teach there guys I am still learning thank you been a coach lol is sometimes harder than the fighter
back at school the emphasis was that landing 'scoring shots' was sufficient...in a way trying for the ko was regarded as a bit brutal and not the done thing (the solar plexus was a legitimate target though)...things have changed a bit I think over time and maybe through the media...I have noticed that today's training does maybe turn out 'headhunters'?
How did you do it? Tell me, bro, today I sparred with a guy 50 lbs heavier, we were supposed to throw light strikes but motherfucker hit me so hard like if I slept with his wife, I tried to close distance with right hook to body, left hook, cross but it didn't work
ALOHAAAAA KAI here and still 10yo always looking for a fight 😆..that was Great advice... I am dealing with a 13yo power puncher tomorrow...when I win I will be 13-0-0 ...bring it on...we watched the Mike Tyson fights that you mentioned bunches of times...Speed Footwork Tie em Up works ... HAU'OLI MAKAHIKI HOU Hawaiian Happy New Year from the Philippines and Huge Blessings for Success in 2023 💯 OHANA FOREVER ❣️🥊🇵🇭💲💲💲💲💲🤩
Great video. Though my own style is more about power punching(I do Muay thai instead of Boxing though), I use short hard combos; but I like seeing ways to beat this style too, and how others guys see it. Like you said though a great way to hit someone faster than you is to time it so you block most or all of their hits and put yourself in a situation where you can trade shots with them. Or just time it well that works best of all and you don't take damage yourself that way.

Being alert is soo underrated! That split second you lose concentration, you get hit with something you didn’t see coming.
💯💯💯

Great video but I honnestly think that the beat advise in all of this was the very last one. Try and take away their power. Thank you coach!

I boxed a heavy hitter in the nationals and didn’t take a single clean shot, I just forgot to throw enough of my own shots

I’m old. I was thinking I am a power puncher. You could use that principal as a power puncher to make a mis so you can clean their clock.

but, when you face a power puncher with skill. The ball games over
Can be
Not if you have more skill and know what their Kryptonite is. Check out Foreman Vs Frazier or Lewis Vs Tyson
#2 is crucial. Tyson won a few fights in under 60 seconds
💯
additionally, watch Floyd vs Corrales to witness a flawless execution

That's why boxing isn't what it used to be. You're scared to get hit hard? Train to Hit back harder too. Train to take hard hits too
Not everyone is as hard or as tough as you man 🙏
