So does this solidify popcorn in bed as the best movie reaction channel. There are many I watch. But there has always been something great about this channel
What makes the channel work for me is the editing… the ladies are charming for sure but the editing is top notch, it relays the big moments and plot really well… all other channels are just choppy, the reactors way over the top and the framing and editing are messy
they have a good vibe. Many movie reaction channel try too hard to be "funny" and talk too much nonsense and miss half of the movie's details. But this girls are really into the movies and really pay attention to it. It a most honest review

I cannot imagine how wild it would be to realize that Tom Cruise has not only watched y'all, but is at least part of the reason you guys went to the premiere. Ive heard in interviews and stuff that, thats like his thing. He remembers litterally EVERYONE and i think that is such a respectable and cool thing for one of the biggest actors in the world to do. I heard that everyone from big actors down to PA's and even catering crews, if Tom Cruise hears a name and sees a face then he makes a point to remember it. The level of fame and money he has, he could obviously get away with not caring, but he makes a real effort to engage with people and fans. The man has my respect for sure.
There is a tier of folks who have seemingly unlimited charisma and unfathomable recall. Cruise is a great example, another is Obama. He, I have a personal anecdote for. (Not) Long before Obama was President and a household name, he was an Illinois State Senator running for US Senate. I was a sophomore in high school, and dating the daughter of a lawyer on his campaign. Was at their house one night when Obama was over for dinner, and we talked here and there, maybe 5 minutes total for the night. 6 years later, I'm a 3-stripe nobody USAF intel analyst at a 3-letter agency. President Obama was visiting campus for a day and our paths crossed by complete coincidence. I snap to attention and render the best salute I can pull off (it was hawt), and HE RECOGNIZES ME. "Airman Brad_Chanderson, at ease, nice to see you!" Shakes my hand and passes me a coin. "You're a long way from home! I know the feeling." We chatted for 10 seconds and I never saw him again. It's been 12 years since that event but I wager a month's pay if we met tomorrow he'd recognize me. Again. Impactful people making an impact. Tom Cruise, Obama, PiB. Happy Thursday, y'all.

Tom remembered his brief conversations with the guy while filming the crazy beach scene 20 or so years prior. Anyway, maybe Tom's are just awesome like that.

So, there were so many amazing things here, I hardly know where to start. But to keep this from being too long, let me just say how utterly shocked I was when Tom immediately recognized you both and brought the director over, and he also immediately recognized you. I mean, just imagine being a regular person making RUclips videos in bed for fun, and realizing the fact that these two famous people know who you are and enjoy your videos. That, to me, was probably the most surreal thing in this video. And you could tell they weren't being falsely polite. They legitimately knew who you were and what your channel was about. I also can't imagine going to a premiere with all the actual stars there. The closest I got was years ago when a new Planet Hollywood restaurant (remember those) was opened in my city, so my mom and I went downtown for that. We got to see Schwarzenegger, Stallone, and Willis (the 3 main owners), plus lots of other stars. It wasn't a movie premiere, but still amazing to see so many famous people in one place. This was awesome ladies. What an incredible experience you will never forget.
It is great. Their staff brief them that day on who they are going to meet and refresh their memories on who everyone is. That doesn't diminish the fact that they are thoughtful enough to make sure that happens.
I can't believe how happy I was for you two throughout this. This whole story just had me grinning ear to ear. In some ways it makes perfect sense: many people have commented this before, but you're exactly who a filmmaker wants watching their film. You give every movie a chance, you get into it for what it is, you're not hyper critical even when you don't love a movie, and you do a great job on the channel making all us viewers fall in love with these films all over again. On the other hand... A NYC MOVIE PREMIERE! For watching movies in your bed! Of COURSE this never happens - but if it were to happen, it had to be you two, because there's no one better. I've always believed that the best RUclips Movie/TV reaction channels are the ones that allow you to feel like you're spending your time with a friend or family. The reactions are always great but there's so much more of a personal touch when you go further to invite us into your life. @@ct6852 I can attest that I personally have watched TV shows and movies that I otherwise wouldn't have solely because some of my favourite reactors were watching them. That's why I started watching The Expanse, and I LOVE that show, and then I got a subscription to Amazon Prime ONLY because I wanted to see the last 3 seasons. So that's like $15 a month right there that would otherwise have stayed in my bank account.
One thing about Tom Cruise is, more than probably anyone in Hollywood, he seems to have his finger directly on the pulse of the moviegoing public. He absolutely understands the kind of content Cassie, Carly, and other reactors put out makes people MORE likely to consume the films involved, not less. I have seen two of the MI movies (the first and the one with Thandiwe Newton.) Now I want to go back and watch them ALL so I can catch up on the Popcorn in Bed reactions, as well as the current and future films. Tom truly understands that moviegoers can be brought to films in a variety of ways, and that great RUclips reactors are a growing and important piece of creating interest. No doubt these instincts about the people inform both his work itself and his ability to bring people to it. Very impressive.

I got to work with Eddie doing Previz and Postviz for Top Gun Maverick and saw Tom and McQ in the office on occasion when we were all at Bruckheimer's facility. There are many I watch. But there has always been something great about this channel
What makes the channel work for me is the editing… the ladies are charming for sure but the editing is top notch, it relays the big moments and plot really well… all other channels are just choppy, the reactors way over the top and the framing and editing are messy
This was the first one I subscribed too. Back when she did the Chernobyl series so... the thousands of subscribers instead of 322,000.
they have a good vibe. Many movie reaction channel try too hard to be "funny" and talk too much nonsense and miss half of the movie's details. But this girls are really into the movies and really pay attention to it. It a most honest review

I cannot imagine how wild it would be to realize that Tom Cruise has not only watched y'all, but is at least part of the reason you guys went to the premiere. And then immediately recognized you guys when he saw you. Just... wow. So awesome, and you guys deserve it with the positive energy you always bring every single video.
Ive heard in interviews and stuff that, thats like his thing. He remembers litterally EVERYONE and i think that is such a respectable and cool thing for one of the biggest actors in the world to do. I heard that everyone from big actors down to PA's and even catering crews, if Tom Cruise hears a name and sees a face then he makes a point to remember it. The level of fame and money he has, he could obviously get away with not caring, but he makes a real effort to engage with people and fans. The man has my respect for sure.
There is a tier of folks who have seemingly unlimited charisma and unfathomable recall. Cruise is a great example, another is Obama. He, I have a personal anecdote for.
(Not) Long before Obama was President and a household name, he was an Illinois State Senator running for US Senate. I was a sophomore in high school, and dating the daughter of a lawyer on his campaign. Was at their house one night when Obama was over for dinner, and we talked here and there, maybe 5 minutes total for the night.
6 years later, I'm a 3-stripe nobody USAF intel analyst at a 3-letter agency. President Obama was visiting campus for a day and our paths crossed by complete coincidence. I snap to attention and render the best salute I can pull off (it was hawt), and HE RECOGNIZES ME.
"Airman Brad_Chanderson, at ease, nice to see you!" Shakes my hand and passes me a coin. "You're a long way from home! I know the feeling." We chatted for 10 seconds and I never saw him again. It's been 12 years since that event but I wager a month's pay if we met tomorrow he'd recognize me. Again.

So, there were so many amazing things here, I hardly know where to start.
But to keep this from being too long, let me just say how utterly shocked I was when Tom immediately recognized you both and brought the director over, and he also immediately recognized you.
I mean, just imagine being a regular person making RUclips videos in bed for fun, and realizing the fact that these two famous people know who you are and enjoy your videos.
That, to me, was probably the most surreal thing in this video. And you could tell they weren't being falsely polite. They legitimately knew who you were and what your channel was about.
I also can't imagine going to a premiere with all the actual stars there.
The closest I got was years ago when a new Planet Hollywood restaurant (remember those) was opened in my city, so my mom and I went downtown for that.
We got to see Schwarzenegger, Stallone, and Willis (the 3 main owners), plus lots of other stars. It wasn't a movie premiere, but still amazing to see so many famous people in one place.
This was awesome ladies. What an incredible experience you will never forget.
It is great. Their staff brief them that day on who they are going to meet and refresh their memories on who everyone is. That doesn't diminish the fact that they are thoughtful enough to make sure that happens.
I can't believe how happy I was for you two throughout this. Seeing your excitement is contagious, and I thought it was extremely respectful of you to turn off your camera when you realized that the director might not know you were recording.
That's a whole other level of grace, but I'm not too surprised to find it from you two.

This whole story just had me grinning ear to ear. In some ways it makes perfect sense: many people have commented this before, but you're exactly who a filmmaker wants watching their film. You give every movie a chance, you get into it for what it is, you're not hyper critical even when you don't love a movie, and you do a great job on the channel making all us viewers fall in love with these films all over again.
On the other hand... A NYC MOVIE PREMIERE! For watching movies in your bed! Of COURSE this never happens - but if it were to happen, it had to be you two, because there's no one better. I think it's a safe bet that all your subscribers are thrilled for you and all your success, and I'm happy to be among them. Cheers!

I've always believed that the best RUclips Movie/TV reaction channels are the ones that allow you to feel like you're spending your time with a friend or family. The reactions are always great but there's so much more of a personal touch when you go further to invite us into your life. Have always wondered what their stance is on reaction channels. If anything would think it might promote actors and studios for future movies. But maybe hurt rentals? I don't know...but curious.
@@ct6852 I can attest that I personally have watched TV shows and movies that I otherwise wouldn't have solely because some of my favourite reactors were watching them. That's why I started watching The Expanse, and I LOVE that show, and then I got a subscription to Amazon Prime ONLY because I wanted to see the last 3 seasons. So that's like $15 a month right there that would otherwise have stayed in my bank account.
One thing about Tom Cruise is, more than probably anyone in Hollywood, he seems to have his finger directly on the pulse of the moviegoing public. He absolutely understands the kind of content Cassie, Carly, and other reactors put out makes people MORE likely to consume the films involved, not less. I have seen two of the MI movies (the first and the one with Thandiwe Newton.)
Now I want to go back and watch them ALL so I can catch up on the Popcorn in Bed reactions, as well as the current and future films. Tom truly understands that moviegoers can be brought to films in a variety of ways, and that great RUclips reactors are a growing and important piece of creating interest. No doubt these instincts about the people inform both his work itself and his ability to bring people to it. Very impressive.

OMG! I'm just now seeing this and this is amazing! I loved when you got to meet Tom and McQ and they mentioned Eddie Hamilton. I got to work with Eddie doing Previz and Postviz for Top Gun Maverick and saw Tom and McQ in the office on occasion when we were all at Bruckheimer's facility. I remember when they all headed over to England to start doing work on this movie and it was an exciting time. What an amazing adventure for you and Carly and how freaking awesome that they enjoyed your review of Fallout so much. It's so much fun when you get to have cool experiences because of doing something that you enjoy and others recognize it. So, so happy for you!
